Hi, i bought this phone an lg bl40 new from 100 euros, but now i´m not very happy with OS developed by LG, so i was wondering if is possible to install new OS, i mean from android or from windows. If yes, could you people help me step by step what to do? Or there is nothing to do with this cell phone...
I do not believe so, because it runs S-Class operating system, a completely different operating system than Android. Also, after searching, no one has brought up a way to put on a new operating system that I could find. Sorry though!
I am afraid there is nothing to do with this cell phone.

I am newbie here, and planning for new android phone.
One of my friend got X10 without Android from India for few bucks less, shopkeeper said he can come again anytime to load the OS (which will be chargeable-same amount he deducted while buying). He was using his phone very well without android, unfortunately lost his phone. I really don't know what OS it was there on phone (stock or other).
My question is
1. Is it possible to get a phone without android, and if yes then what will be the OS on that?
2. Is it possible to flash/load Android (suitable to that specific device) on such device by our self?
Thanks in advance.
I think your friend got one of the infamous counterfeit phones.
Perhaps it had the Chinese ripoff version of Android on it.

please help me!!!!!!!
android is an OS, any hardware that can understand the OS of android will do.
even phone with Windows OS and hardware, some people are able to port Android also.
There is something to do with the processor that is supported with android mostly ARM.
for your peace of mind read this.

Okay so here's the deal, I have not been on this website since the Windows Mobile 5 days, so the new format is a little strange for me, for those of you who remember what the site used to be like.
So no, I am not a noob, just with the new Android operating system, I'm looking to do something very specific, if it can even be done.
Device Information:
ZTE Score x500
Android 2.3.4
400MB Ram
8GB SD Card
So here's what I want to do, I just bought an iPhone, but I only want to use it for work, I don't care too much for the phone itself but for practical business purposes, it's the best thing out right now, so I'm looking to turn the Android Phone into sort of an MP3/Entertainment device on steroids.
I'm looking for a ROM that removes all phone and data functions, retains WIFI and BT, and frees up as much RAM as possible, I haven't done any browsing through the site/threads yet, but figured posting this would be the best place to start.
Like I said, I haven't done anything like this since the good old WM5 days, so any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
MMCCORMICK
Hi all
I have this watch that has a specialized os that I want to change to more usable os.
but I don't know it's brand as nothing is branded on it, so I can't find a way to achieve this.
could anyone help me in steps to install a usable os on it? as I have very little experience in smartwatches in general.
thanks
