Hello,
After the OTA update to 1.35. 401.1 a sync symbol keeps showing in the notificatie bar.
I dit not change anything items came up and wil not go away...
How can i fix this?

Sounds like HTC Sense, go to settings \accounts & sync and check whats running
Google account, Weather and whatsapp are running. The thing is, they ware on before the update with no sync sybol. It just keeps on running!

Mine's doing this as well. I'll keep an eye on it to see if it finally sods off
I had the same "problem". I stopped the synchronization and then synchronized them all manually. And I haven't seen the synchronize symbol since. So I hope that's it.

No. I only had to synchonize manually the first time, and then it keeps synchronizing automatically. At least so far.

I had the same problem with that icon on the notification bar.. the problem on my phone was causd by " htc watch" trying to syncronise but that sevice is not available in Holland.. YET! Deleted account and problem is solved now..

Disabling the Watch sync did the trick for me as well.
Watch could also be the problem here, as it seems it has been disabled after the update.

for me the icon went away after i signed into my second google account and uninstalled/disabled it afterwards ... then it was fixed
A simple reboot fixed the sync issue for me.

I've read that's because there is a mismatch between times between providers or transmitters. Someone resolved this by setting the time manually (ahead). I haven't verified this myself but I'm experiencing this since my HTC Hero.
How its your phone's clock configured? Try to put out into auto mode and see if that solves it. Many people find that rifling that syncs it properly and stops the problem.
I had this problem a few times. I'm not sure this but... You can make a backup using 'sms backup & restore' from Market, then using notepad edit file with backup and set correct time.

is there any way to port the HTC FBChat Widget from the HTC Salsa to the Sensation?
I can't post images, but if you search for htc facebook chat widget on google, you will see what i mean.
That would be pretty awesome.
Check on the 3d forums on apps I got it working for the EVO 3d , requireds HTC sense 3.0 so might work on the sensation

Umm he's saying it might work because it requires sense 3.0 which the sensation has...he didn't say anything that requied you telling him to do some homework what he said was accaurate. Not sure whats up with the constant pissy-ness that has infected xda as of late... as for the OP's question, I would say if its working on the EVO 3D it'll work for us, the phones are nearly identical.

I extracted and installed everything from that zip but it still comes up with "you don't appear to be signed in" after I've signed in and rebooted. I'm on HTC clay's version of leedroid.

Working fine for me all I did was download them 3 files from the 3d thread directly on my phone. I opened the facebook app and signed out, I then pressed each one of the downloaded files and installed them.
I then signed back into the facebook app and it asked to allow htc salsa and I said yes, and its all working even the widget.

When I logged out of facebook for htc sense and pushed the new facebook all I no longer have facebook for htc sense in the accounts and sync so I can't resync my contacts but the chat app works is there a way to get the facebook for htc sense back in the accounts and sync because it isn't there to add new account and still have the fbchat app and widget working.

This same thing happened to me as well. I'm running the Stock 2.3.4 OTA but the odexed version. I had the same problem on Stock odex 2.3.3 too. Tried the whole logging out and back in but the FB for HTC Sense dissapears even after a reboot. Tried just installing the widget and chat app with the accompanying HtcFacebook because I am running the odex but it just will not sign me in.
I gave up for now. I'm guessing a lot of my problems stem from the fact that I'm odexed still and this is not.
Do I miss something? when I enter a new appointment I can not select which calendar to use. Is there an option somewhere to enable thiis?

Yes, I am syncing my google calendars, but I cannot pick one when i enter an appointment.

Took me a while to find it too, but its so bloody obvious. The very very top box, which has calendar name and your email address, just click on it. You can't change it on the phone calendar once its set.

Hello all,
I have a stock Sense 3.0 for HTC Sensation 4G and I noticed that the phone shortcut has disappeared from the lock screen, and I am unable to readd it. It has also disappeared from my launcher, however still shows up under settings > all apps. Help!

I wonder if this has something to do with HTC sense, is there any data I can clear from an HTC app? I tried clearing data from HTC Sense app which didn't do anything.
You mean the big button in the middle right? Try turning off fast boot mode, or easier take out the battery put it in and restart your phone. Might help but I guess you have tried that already.

Thanks, was looking for exactly that. Didn't come up in my searches earlier.
I have a 07 BMW and I didn't have a problem syncing my contacts with my previous phone (HTC Radar). When I paired my HTC One S to my car the contacts don't sync. Is anyone having the same problem or is it just my device. Maybe you guys have some alternatives until there is a update out.
Also the HTC Radar would read my text messages when received and it would allow me to reply by voice. Can the One S do this?

Make sure it is only syncing your phone or google contacts and not all your other facebook and HTC contacts. This will cause issues.
