[REQ][ROM] MIUI + StockGinger Fusion possible? - Defy Android Development

Hello everyone!
I'm just requesting if anyone can make a ROM based on both MIUI and Gingerbread...
I love these 2 Roms and I can't decide what to use :S
So I made this thread to ask if someone can make a Rom on MIUI & Gingerbread...
I'm asking a big thing I know... :S

stockginger its leaked rom motoblur 451-134?
if is that, its impossible to porting one in other or viceversa!
i tell you for my personal test, usually the original rom from motorola its very hard to modded, specially in case to added in other (aosp) rom!
this happened because, if you remove some blur.apps the moto-rom crashed!!
i read that someone find to port motoblur on samsung or htc devices...without good results!

Ok thanks for the Reply!!
The stockginger is any Gingerbread ROM for the Defy
So in conclusion It's nearly impossible and it's EXTREMELY hard to do it :S
Ok then... I really don't know what Rom to use XD
I like MIUI's UI but I like Stock GB simplicity and speed..

Which ROM ???

How do i choose a suited ROM for my desire S ?
There are so many.
It depends on the IMEI or something else ?
Also , whats a "prerooted" ROM ( different from "normal" ROM ? )
Grts
Answer to your last question: a pre-rooted ROM is a custom ROM which already provide root access. If you're unfamiliar to the term root, you should do a little more reading before flashing a custom rom to your device.
Just ensure that you've read through many of the threads available to anyone on this forum, and you'll have a smooth sailing through the seas of custom ROMs.
Your IMEI number doesn't matter.
Try Endymion, it's probably the best (personal opinion) Sense based ROM in the development section.
Loving my Desire S since rooting and flashing a custom ROM, like a new phone

Flinnys CM 11 alpha 3. Very fast and stable after my opinion. There are just some bugs with the camera(video) and bluetooth but check it out anyways.
Hello guys i didnt want to create a new thread.
My mother has a Desire S and is absolutely casual user, the only thing that is important is long battery life and that all features work (No ROMs with Camera bugs and so on pls)
She does not need Tablet Features and whatsoever.
Currently her phone runs MIUI 2.### which is a battery eater and quiet strange.
Do you have any ROM to suggest? Just a very stable, reliable Android with much battery life?
Thx for your help !

Hey guys!
Just got a second-hand Desire S.
I am looking for am advice about a custom ROM with Sense.
What is the highest version of Android with the highest version of Sense available? The best would be: Sense 5.5 with Kit-kat I think.
Any suggestions? Would like a "stable" version if possible.
Ty.

[Q] Mixing it up a bit?

I'm aware there are a few devs working hard at porting HTC One series roms, but for me at least i don't think they are stable enough for what i use my phone for (My opinion, don't flame). Has anyone had any luck with a Sense 3.6/4.0 mix? Have you made a ROM? Did you just push the files to overwrite the original? I'd love to know, thanks in advance

Hi,
ARHD should have a leaked ROM to play with by the end of the month.
Should be more stable than a port...

[REQUEST] MIUI for our Fit

Hello everyone, I'm here to ask for you why our galaxy fit doesnt have a very good MIUI rom. Many phones has very good unnoficial MIUI roms, and modified for good performance and other things. I guess we need a MIUI with the base in CyanMobile but with the visual of MIUI and other features of MIUI, the cyanmobile by squadzone is the best in performance and is what we need. Please someone think in this idea
B.S!! i have tried miui on ace and let me tell you that our fit's miui is anytime better than that one!
sonudarock has done good job! its our device's hardware that lacks feature, not the rom!
though i agree it needs an update..

Of course we need an update and we need a rom with Overclock and good gaming performance, it's a pitty that sonuda didn't do updates, MIUI can be the best rom for fit like revo A already is. I guess some devs can do a really good work with the MIUI "idea". But they need to try
I've port miui gb(cm7 based) and miuiv4(ics based) and use it for myself...it's great...
need more improvement, but because I work alone and the owner of original rom (the rom I port to galaxy fit) not yet reply my PM...so I'm not publish the rom...

port...?? Are u serious...? Their phone, development, chipset every every everything is different. Porting ICS rom is not simple like porting an apk file.
I thought kkrraazzyy and rockyseenu ported their ROMs from i9000 ROMs.
Again, no doubt it's very tough and you need to be quite experienced to port these ROMs. Surely, not a project for a new person.

Ya same thing I want to say that porting a rom to a completely different phone is very tough job. You should know exactly what u want to develop & port.
u can port any rom from any dvice that have the same cpu as our device (armv7) heres a link for a porting guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1598713
