Does anyone know if the normal XDA II screen protector fit the XDAIIs ? (without having to cut it about)
I've just got my IIs and the screen feels really strange when dragging with the stylus, almost like its scratching it.. (it doesn't actually appear to be) so I'd like to get a good screen protector for it. Can anyone recommend one ?

I have had some custom made for my MDAII by a guy named lcdprotector. he sells at eBay. Not expensive, prompt delivery, good quality
The screens are the same size. I use the same protectors on XDAII and MDAIII.
http://www.innopocket.com has some nice reuseable ones... he also develops alluminum cases for popular cell phone brands. I emailed him, and he said he is currently working on creating one for the PDA2K/XDA IIs/Qtek 9090/whatever else it is called. It never hurts for someone else to email him

No, but I had the same question, just look a few threads under yours.
There should be handsets that have roughly the same measurements. Cases for these could be a workaround until something perfect is released. Problem is, I don't know how to efficiently find out which ones would fit. If somebody with a bit of spare time could find out, that would be great.

That case is an optional boxed accessory that networks/resellers can choose to offer their customers - and not something being sold (yet, at least) separately to customers. At least that's what Samsung UK told me when I asked.
i've seen some over at mobilefun.codotuk, including silicone covers and what i think is some sort of hard gel...anti shock cases... and the leather one you speak of.

Will as soon as it arrives i bought it yesterday, Hoping he posted it today so will be here tomorrow.
I found the supplier he is getting them off with a bit of ease if it's the one i think it is, so i might buy 500 of them and sell them for £1.99 + free p&p to annoy them XD on ebay
They can even engrave XDA-DEV on the cases for a joke when i asked for no extra cost .... 5 colours

Long post of Pics for anyone wondering what the Omnia 7 black silicone case looks like on the phone as not many suppliers seem to have pics on the ads yet. *when i bought it anyway* - Yes mine has a screen protector I think it looks fine with the case as you cannot see the edges on the glass much apart from two pics which show the holes around the windows button and the ear piece / sensors.
*4th pic down if you zoom in shows what the screen protector does as already my phones been across a few of the slate tiles in the kitchen*
I think I found the perfect 3rd-party case for the phone The 'Valente Leather Pocket 15'. It's still a little tight (not too tight) but I reckon it will loosen up in a few days as it is genuine leather... so the fit will be great!
Bought it for €15,- @ a retailer called the Phonehouse in the Netherlands.

images below (note: although the phone doesn't stick out as much as in pic 1 when you push it as far as possible into the case, the corners do stick out just 1mm. so that's only a real concern when you drop it head-down)

I got it aswell and its been great so far. But it isnt a max coverage! So Zagg and Phantom still are better but are much more expensive.
Yes thats what I have. Dont need any more coverage than that anyway. Those little small strips and extra crap coverage that Zagg gives you peel off anf fall off anyway. Front and back is all you need imo.

I guess, if the screen is on, it shines though the mirror. Its maybe a kind of transparent mirror coating.
Mirrored protector
The only mirrored protector that I can recall is the Zagg ones. A few are still available new on Ebay (U.S.).
I'm not sure if it has any tint to it or not. Perhaps there were generic ones when the phone came out?

Ooh, thank you so much! Yes in deed. Unluckily shipping is expensive to my country and the cheapest tempered glass is described to already has been used, but adhesive layer "professionaly cleaned". Still 20$. That's sounds like a bad deal^^ thanks though, I'll look on
