I don't know if you can install directly to SD, but you can move them to the card by going to Settings>Applications>[App you want to move]>Move to SD Card

Moving apps to SD card

Anyone know how I can Move apps from internal sd to external sd
phone LG Optimus 3D android 2.2
first you should partition your sd card.. let me know how much space you got on sd.. If 4GB than ext-3 will be 512MB if bigger Ext-3 will be 1.5GB(Maximum)... it's only a recommendation and it's not required.. leave Swap 0mb... for doing so you need to flash a custom recovery.. I recommend ClockworkMod... do a google search and find the appropriate .img file then flash recovery... after partitioning install Link2SD or Apps2SD from market and you're done...
Good Luck
phone internal sd has 5Gb available
I want to use the 32GB card instead of the phone sd card

Then I don't think there should be any problem in linking data to SD card..
