Touch Pro/Fuze TV Out Cable Question

Ok i recently recieved a warranty exchanged fuze (upgrade froma tilt) and i recieved an adapter in the box..

very similar to whats included with the tilt..its a non standard htc usb plug with an extended adapter on it which has on one side what looks like a normal headphone jack and a mini headphone jack and on the end has the usb..ive included a pic of it..im assuming this is standard accessory equipment included with the ATT FUZE sooo i was looking on ebay for a video out cable and came upon this

and ive included a pic
but it looks like you can plug it into what i thought were audio jacks and achieve video out? because i have these cables laying around (from video cameras and stuff) and i tried them just now and i dont get any results..any ideas on how this is being pulled off?

The one on eBay is a modified dongle. And the guy probably did it using the thread found in xda-dev! I will bet you that! LOL! But, if you had searched, you would have found this thread here.

Well Pazookie, good for you getting your Fuze as a replacement. Didn't cost you a cent. Congrats and I hope you enjoy it. As for the Bold, I brought that the day it came out and took it back the following day. LOL The screen is awesome but I guess I'm just that WM kinda guy. I hated the BB format espically for email and text messages. Again, that's me and I sure it's that I'm so used to the WM platform. I know many people that would give their arm before lossing their BB. LOL

thanks..merry christmas.//and about the fuze..i have never been more pleased with a device..it went above and beyond my expectations..i thought i was going to have to settle for less buttons and all that stuff but i have found the workarounds easier..i have found it to be more responsive and accurate as in screen taps and typing with the on screen SIP and pocketgba works again (on my tilt once wm6.1 came out that gba emulater stopped working). I LOVE this thing lol oh yah its built tuff too..i dropped it at work the other day (idiot coworker bear hugged me from behind thus flinging the fuze out of my hand). It hid concrete from about 4 feet and the back cover flew off and the battery popped off and only a smal scratch/paintsmudge on the bottom right corner (top half of device). Cradle

Is anyone using a cradle for Optimus One? I was wondering if other phone cradles will fit?

You can always use an universal one like this one,but the original LG SDT-140 is very very beautiful..although a little pricey too (orange sells it for 18 pounds and I've seen it on ebay too at the same price)

The original cradle is not just beautiful but also of solid build.
Shiny and solid, what a joy to use.
But expensive....

Where could I buy it? I am no Orange customer.

I have an optimus t and use the Verizon Vortex dock...it works beautifully and looks decent also.

Okay I have the cradle but I don't think it's worth the money. It doesn't do much.

Using Dealextreme plexiglass-cell-phone-holder sku33310
and glueing the micro-usb connector in place would be a cheaper solution.

It's intended for a HTC Desire but as far as I see, the micro usb conector is right in the middle, in the same spot as our P500.

Because for Desire this connector is much closer to the back lid:

i made this an hour or less and just did the vid and pics because was bored it only charges it primary use would be for my car. id tell you where i got the dock form but i dont remember at this time i will post as soon as i find out

Klipsch Image S4I?

Just purchased a pair of these because of the reviews it has gotten. I bought them on ebay and was wondering if anyone has used them on their Fascinate, if so what functions worked and which ones didn't? I want to know just in case they don't work at all I can start looking for a buyer before they even get here. Any info appreciated.

UPDATE:
I just got these recently and if you are looking for a headset that sounds great and will answer calls and drop calls with the one middle button then I highly recommend a pair of these. No complaints at all. They are regularly $89 plus tax at BB but I got a pair on Ebay for $56 straight up. If you guys are interested for a pair PM me and I will let you know what seller sold them to me. They average in the $50-$65 dollar range. Depending on how many people are watching the auction. The seller I dealt with shipped them out on a Sunday and I got them on Wednesday. Pretty fast shipping considering he sent them from NJ to CA. As far as the sound I think they sound great. Very clear sound and the base sounds really good.

I have a set of those that I gave to my wife. None of the functions work except answering the phone and using the microphone. No pause/play, FF/REW or volume control.

Sweet! That is all I was looking for. Using the button to answer a call and being able to use the mic. How do they sound, if you don't mind me asking? I don't hear to many bad reviews about them.

They sound pretty good. Probably the best sounding for under $100.

That's good news. I paid $56 for a pair, thought I over paid, but if the pair works out, I think I may have made out. Thanks for your input. Much appreciated.

Suggestions for a good car mount?

Can anyone post up some suggestions for a good car mount for the skyrocket? I'd really like one that didn't block the camera so I could record video while driving.

hands down the best mounts in the market is Pro-Clip USA. Expensive, but worth it.

Its ok, you just can't help it. I'm pretty capable but I thought that this community may have a preferred vendor that came recommended for this product.

ProClip is good stuff for sure, but I've never seen a mount from them that's not on the dash or console area. If you want to record while driving, you'd want something on the windshield or dash; preferably windshield if you have a newer car, since they're made and installed to dampen vibration.
For recording you'd probably want something like this Arkon windshield mount:

And there, I posted the Sprint D710 model is the one you want because it is almost the exact same size as the Skyrocket, just needs to be modified slightly
Universal holders are ridiculous - for the same price, get the one for the phone, you know you can sell it with the phone and make more money as a "package" instead of trying to keep the same ugly car dock that doesn't charge your phone after you sell the Skyrocket! And as for Pro-Clip.... I've been a big fan of theirs for a long time, but the insane pricing and having to hardwire it every time gets really old, really fast.... for HALF the price, you get an OEM Samsung charger that just needs to be modified and then use Bluetooth to get audio to your car's stereo, very simple, classy, and not ghetto rigged like this awful universal mounts!

I really like my Cobra Universal Mini Mount.

Bluetooth Headphones/earbuds

I was wondering what Bluetooth headphones/ear buds you guys use our recommend. I'm tired of either getting wires in the way while I'm exercising our having then eventually fray and stop working. I've heard of Jay Buds but don't know a lot about them. Of course I would prefer not to sacrifice sound quality for convenience. Thanks.

If you really want top quality for music, no bluetooth headphone will ever compare to wired, but if you can deal with some quality loss, Bose makes a great bluetooth set, although very expensive. .The Motorola S10 is pretty good for the price

Moto s9. Absolutely love them. Sound is very good. I'd recommend over s10. S10 are less comfortable and more bulky IMO.

I'll second this, fair price for wireless with solid bass and clear vocals. And bonus, one charge lasts all day, from a set that is little more than the buds and the wire between them.
