First I want to thank RootzWiki for this awesome forum that we can share our work on. Next I would like to thank my team for putting up with me disappearing for two weeks to make this work for you guys. There are so many people I want to thank for making this possible. First biggest thanks to slayher, he did this first and has helped out with ALOT of bugs that he had to deal with when there was no one else here to help him fix them. He also helped me update this to mr2.5 General thanks go to birdman, b16, cvpcs, the whole cm team, peteralfonso, drod2169, ksknightmare, the irc guys, sgarriques, imoseyon, the users in this thread including avlfive and jaxidian and mikereDD which i've seen answer hundreds of questions. If I don't have you listed and you helped in some way, biggest thanks to you. Im old sorry.

im actually going to test this out now its been awhile since ive been of cm7 lol.

thanks r2, that was quick =P

No prob
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using XDA Premium App

just got it fully going with universal gapps and so far it feels kind of sluggish i had to change my cpu to 480-729 on demand and i was having issues with the touch screen not responding especially when su was popping up, and the market forced closed on me a couple times. so far everything else is working fine though. also it seems that this is dropping my data could just be in my head though lol.

I've been on CM since 6.0, so I'll give this a shot. I'm just biding my time until I can rid myself of this phone.

ty for the work trying it in a few. just got a new phone today.
off toppic
well i heard many people saying 10$ replacement plan from bestbuy sucks and its not replaced, its sent to repair and then you get a new one if that one haves no way of repairing. Well, I was told "anything that happens with it, you get new one ootb in the spot. So thats why i bought it. Mines got smashed and fu+ked in ways you could not imagine and i got 1 new with no questions asked
and yes i dont speak english and NO, I got it replaced outside of us. Maybe it is only us who try to repair it
Looking forward to seeing some screen shots.
Also would like to know if you are using CM7, and if so, which build? Is 4G working?

i started doing this a little differently recently. instead of nightly builds, i occasionally tweet about pre-release test build. i upload a build, give the link out on irc and then take the link down in half an hour or so. follow me on twitter and youll get those updates.
gapps don't work for custom build?
I downloaded both of the builds. The stock one and the custom one. When I downloaded the stock one my gapps worked just fine. Then I tried the custom one for the God mode so I can change my battery to saying the number. One thing I foundout was that when I installed it my gapps installed but wont work. It might be the wrong one for it.
i also had issues with gapps.
1. wiped everything
2. flashed omfgb and gapps
3. booted
4. market doesn't open
5. no google account option under accounts and sync
im going to have to look into my google apps package, but for now grab the once off rom manager or cyanogens site.
Ooh a piece of candy..
deleted. Posted for the wrong ROM.

weve been posted over at rootz for a while now. i just realized i hadnt posted a thread here yet though, so here ya go!
Thanks R2. Great work as always! Had lots of issues with the 7-16 nightly. Switched to the 7-11 nightly and worked like a charm!
This may be a stupid question but how exactly do i download this. Im doing this for a friend and in my phone's section i am usually given a direct link.
Its in the sholes folder
Sent from my SCH-I510 using XDA Premium App
i just downloaded the july 25 nightly and i flashed it and then the gapps but when i went to set everything up the gapps wernt there. i tried it twice. you have any ideas?
Yup. We know what the issue is, just not how to fix it yet. The rom is taking up the entire system partition, which makes no sense
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using XDA Premium App
I noticed during the ROM install it mentions its restoring gapps. No idea if this helps any.
Sent from my Droid using XDA Premium App
Gapps work again on 7-28 nightly. Issue was caused due to the ROM itself becoming a bit too big so there wasn't enough memory for the Gapps to properly install.

First off I want to say that although this ROM is an Android-based China-focused Operating System, this is NOT MIUI! This ROM is a Dianxin OS based ROM. For more information on what Dianxin OS is, visit http://en.chuangxin.com/portfolio/portfolio-news/dianxin-at-innovation-works
This ROM is still a WIP as there is plenty of things to do to it but is stable enough to be used as a daily ROM as things like 3G, WiFi, BT and obviously the phone work
This ROM has a lot of features but here are a few that I've noticed since using it....
- Build In System Optimization
- Build In Battery Booster
- Sense like pulldown Recent icons
- Classic/Advanced Mode in Settings
- MIUI like Theme Manager
- MIUI like Task Toggles in the Pulldown notification area
- Much More
Also I'm not foolish enough to think that things like this are not done by just one person, so I would like to give THANKS and credit to the following people before we start....
Swiperrat - For doing all the leg work and porting this over to the EVO
HipKat - For giving Swiperrat the idea to get this done
Atyoung - For sharing his kickass kernel and supporting Team D.I.R.T
PapaSmurf 151 - For his tweaks that I used for the build.prop, sysctl.conf and for helping me out when I was on TRN
TommyTomatoe - Just because he's a cool dude and has helped me in the past with the stuff I now do
The Dianxin OS Developers - I think this one is obvious...hahaha
All Team D.I.R.T members - Supporting each other and being cool as hell
Everyone at Tincandroid- for supporting the site and Team D.I.R.T not only here but over ACSyndicate, Rootzwiki and any forum for that matter
THE KERNEL SOURCE USED FOR THIS ROM : https://github.com/atyoung/mason-kernel-ice
http://themikmik.com/forumdisplay.php?1875-Mazda-s-Developments
- Native USB Connect doesn't work (is not there)
- Native Camcorder doesn't work (see the quick fix below)
- No 3 Way Reboot
- No Screenshot Power Option
- No FFC
- No 4G
- Netflix and Hulu Plus doesn't work
- YOU TELL ME
- Add 3 way reboot option power options
- Add Screenshot option to power options
- Add USB connect in pulldown working
- Reduce the size of the ROM overall by at least 30MBs
- Add more customization (Battery, Center Clock, Tablet Mode, etc)
- Increase battery life and performance
- Update the apps that need updating
- Throw a bit of DIRT on it and make it awesome!
- Use USB MOUNT app to Connect USB to PC
- Native Camcorder does not record (use Videocam illusion)

This has A2SD baked in as it states in the changelog so you have to partition your sdcard correctly and then flash
Looks pretty interesting. Is this stable enough for daily use? Since its ICS based does it have any issues? Which kernel can we use with this?

Its running great. Found one hiccup (and it may be only due to multiboot sharing the sdcard directory). When choosing wallpaper by pressing main screen and tapping "wallpapers" the small thumbnails and large preview dont match. The smaller are custom, and the larger are the stock papers. When choosing, the stock is applied.
By far, the fastest scrolling on a rom yet. Very fast and fluid under a load.
Killer job! Enjoyed your contribiutions on my Skyrocket, and i am enjoying the here too.

Is this the Aspire launcher that claims incredible battery life, ie 700% increase in passive battery life? Or is it something different?

I've been using Vanir Prime since it's release and I never thought I'd find anything as fast. Congratulations on such a fast, fluid rom. Battery life so far with leankernel is pretty good but I'll have a better idea in the next few days. Also experiencing minor hiccup with wallpapers mentioned earlier which I only mention because some of them are sweet looking. Keep up the great work and you know you have a winner when a crack flasher of my caliber says that he's planning to stay with your work.

There is a video preview! :highfive:
But it's AOCP 5.3 (w/o the PIE controls) :crying:
But I'm sure you've all seen PIE before. :good:

I finally fixed my phone. Just in time to see this. I'm so happy now.
Dude, I love the boot animation. Hey, I bought the AOKP.co app to help support these ROM's. It was cheap. Why not. Everybody should buy it if you like these Unofficial ROM's that Wambo brings to us.
Ohhhh snap Wambo does it again... will give this a run after work..

Hey, this is new
Wow, this is pretty fast for me.
I'd say its almost at....
(wait for it)
Supersonic speed!!
But seriously great work with all of these man. You and my complicated family that I share a plan with are the only reasons I haven't upgraded yet..
UPDATE: May I recommend this inverted apps package, it goes well with dark AOKP. Also includes core and gapps I believe. I believe its AROMA too, and hey, who doesn't enjoy flashing with Aroma?
To paraphrase Chris Rock in the Academy Award-ignored movie 'Pootie Tang': "[Wambo] DONE DID IT AGAIN!!!!"
Gotta dl this, flash it, and geek out for a while, I'm sure it'll work as advertised......
DL this bad boy right now as I type!!!

If you have all the sounds you want, just dump them in the system/media directory wherever they go. If it's a ring tone, go to ringtones, notification goes to notifications. So on. You can probably use CMFilemanager just fine to do that after setting access mode to root.
Here ya go brother, heres a new project for ya... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2339050
Glad to see this on here Wambo_Bomb!!!
Got to find my EVO 4G and flash this now
GOOD JOB AGAIN!!
Hahaha yes. Thanks for taking this on Wambo_Bomb. I'll download and flash tonight. Congrats
Working just as advertised for me; Seeder helped smooth out any slowness/lag, it's like your PACMan ROM with even more options. My wife thanks you for keeping me from wanting to upgrade my phone all the time
EDIT: WAIT, hold on, I take it all back, just had a random reboot, only one since installing this a couple of days ago, and the only one I think I've had on a Wambo ROM.....OH, THE OUTRAGE!!!!!! Let me scroll through my list of common insults here while I'm at it:
The developer(s) is an/are idiot(s).
This thing is COMPLETELY broken. Might as well be an expensive paperweight.
It's probably because they didn't get the WiMax/FFC working. When's that coming, btw?
I wish you'd test it first before putting it out as a finished product.
That's what happened; tell me why it did that and then fix it for me now, and for the next version, so that none of us have to suffer this indignity henceforth. What's a logcat?
Team [fill in the blank] SUXXXORZ, [insert other developer or team here] is WAAAYYY BETTER!!!
That's it, I'm not supporting you guys with anymore Thanks that you can't pay bills/bar tabs with. Way to spend a sheet-ton of time for free on something that's worse than using a typewriter in this day and age.
Just kidding, of course. It had been so long since I had one of those I forgot to even worry about them. Thanks again for an awesome ROM!
Mazda put out a great DU rom,it was pretty sweet, ill definitely give this a shot when i get a chance, you put out some pretty sweet roms, yourself.Great work by the way,Eric.

If you can/do wait a few days, I saw some changes on the DU github, I'll sync later and probably run an update while I sleep tonight or tomorrow.
