Hi,
I am using the team viewer app to access my pc from the phone. It's very good. I get the whole desktop on my phone screen and I can control it completely.
For accessing phone via web I.am using the remote web desktop. I can use many features as sms mail from the pc.
If you have further questions do ask . Hope this helps

if you dont have wifi adapter in your tv, do you have LAN ? as in wired option. the model of your tv would have helped.
i have my tv connected to the same router as my pc which is also wifi and thus through dlna i am able to view pictures and music from my phone directly onto the tv. sadly the 3gp format of the video recorded by the sensation doesnt allow me to view the videos made from the camera on it. but other videos on the phone can be viewed on tv.
another nice feature is that videos which ppl post on your facebook wall can be streamed to the tv directly from the phone using an app called twonky server.
if you dont have both wifi or wired connection on the tv then do you have an hdmi cable input in your tv? if so you can buy an adapter which will connect to the usb port of the phone and to the hdmi port of the tv.
hope this helps.
hi
thanks for your response
My tv has LAN and hdmi connection so it means I am able to do wired network but I don't know how to do it. I don't have much technical knowledge but I am able to do that. I only need some hints at key areas.
I want to know both ways to connect. I have wireless internet modem/router with 4 wired port connection at my home. I have laptop, windows mobile 6.1 and latest sensation also. all of them is wifi enabled.
I heard somewhere that regular micro usb to hdmi cable will not support to the sensation. So what sort of hdmi cable or connector do I use?
Furthermore I tried both TeamViewer as well as Remote Web Desktop.
Both works very good between my Sensation and my HP Laptop.
I know it's inappropriate to ask here but if u know about app like TeamViewer and Remote Web Desktop for the windows mobile pls let me know.
Thanks again

To connect the Sensation to the television get an MHL adapter (this is how it looks in practice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-o_VCYd9NA )

Is there anyway to output video playback from the ppc?
The spectec SDIO card is only for pics and presentations, I'm looking for something that can output real video.
I know that you can do it now with slingbox, but I want something portable that i will be able to connect to any TV (like a SDIO card).
Is there any product that can do that?
regardless, I read somewhere that you can stream video from the ppc to your TV using an HTPC (Home Theater PC) and some program called ORBIS. Do you have any idea what are they talking about? I can't find the link for the discussion...
Thanks for any help
There was some news story recently where the reporter was "shooting" video live on his phone and it was being broadcast on TV. This obviously means it's possible, but turning your PPC into a server is a different story.
There is the ActiveSync Remote Display, part of the Windows Mobile Developer Power Toys, but I never tested it to stream video. If it works on the some technology as Remote Desktop, you won't be able to stream video. But try it out.
Good luck,
Matt
oh, i m not alone. i m looking the same thing as well. i m looking (still looking...) something (not SDIO) that can output the pda screen display (and also sound) to tv or monitor. i m using o2 atom, so the only "connection" is either via a special usb cable or a bluetooth device.

Please make sure you follow my articles. CoolCamera is what you're looking for - it's the best solution for this.
I don't recommend PC -> PPC controllers because of speed issues - not even the, in this respect, fastest (read my remote controller roundup, it has been referenced several times in my articles cross-posted to here) Soti Pocket Controller.
I don't know if this has been discussed anywhere else but...
Does anyone know how I can get the video from my Tilt to show on my Pioneer AVIC-D3 display? I have my Slingbox setup and working on my Tilt and I can get the audio to play through the Bluetooth to the receiver, but I don't see a way to get the video to transfer over. Maybe a wired connection to the Aux Video Input jack?
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks to all...

It's http://orb.com. It turns your home pc into a streaming media server. Hands down better that slingbox.
With ORB you can connect your TV via a TV Tuner Card, or Have Live Secure Webcams with motion capture.
Also If you would like to stream and capture cam video from you mobile device to web you might want to check out comvu.com

You must not own a SlingBox, Orb will never ever be better than the SlingBox. Orb buffers all the time, with the SlingBox you get perfect video all the time, don't you know. The newly just released SlingPlayer mobile software is the 8th wonder of the world, Orb don't even come close dude.(LOL)
Okay so my main reasoning to purchasing this tablet was primarily based on the fact you can view pdf's for school like books and such...
Which brings me to the question of?...
Wireless Flash Drive?
Now i want to be able to wireless sync the tablet as a flash drive and transfer files for school instead of carrying around a flash drive is this possible by any means??... (Needs to be MAC compatible or no to little software towards the computer because i do not have Administrator Access on the computer side..)
Wireless streaming Solutions?
okay so i figured out a way to browse the files on my computer using my tablet using an application called File Manager but how do i stream video and music from my tablet the opposite way? (use my computers monitor and speakers wirelessly from the tablet?)
this might be what you are searching... make use of allshare...

BubbleUPnP will probably do the trick, assuming you have a client on the computer that supports DLNA/UPnP streaming.

Use "VLC Direct" you can stream music and video both ways... tablet to computer, or computer to tablet. Its not on the market right now, it got kicked off when google messed up there market and everyone accounts. go to vlcdirect.com, you should be able to download it from there and read about how to use it. Its a great app I use it daily
You do need the pro version to use all of the features

I couldn't get bubble upnp or skifta to work properly remotely. Try subsonic, it is java based and set up through a browser, so I think it should be Mac compatible. Works great to stream music and video to Android devices over 3g. As far as the files, maybe look into setting up a ftp server or just use dropbox

Ok everyone something new that I am trying to setup, something to the effect of a home media streaming server.
The server it self is a laptop intel i5 6gb ram win 7 connected to tv via HDMI, I used this to play netflix, torrents, ect and basically cut off my cable bill.
What I would like to do now is to stream the video/audio via wifi to other android devices that are connected to other tv's through out the house.
for the client side, I will be useing MK802 II android 4.0. connected via HDMI,
question to everyone is ... Has anyone else already accomplish this? and can you give any pointers. I know I can simply share files, ect but I want to sync the video signal to the other televisions so If a video is on in the living room , the same exact video is playing in the kitchen.
And being I want to do this via Android Im here at xda to pick some brains
Thank you in advance
Search at playstore for bubleUpNp

Hi,
At home, I have both PC and iMac. I want to be able to connect to these devices via my note 8.0.
I know solution called LogMeIn, but it is an expensive one.
Do you know other cheap solution for the same task?
Thanks,
Tomer
PS - don't mind to have two apps , one for MAC, one for my PC

2x Client: http://www.2x.com/rdp-client/
Free, fast, convenient, just Android app - no additional software needed on PC, just configure RDP. According to to their website it works with Mac, but I don't know the details.
Add any Wake On LAN app, and you can remotely start your computer before launching RDP.

I use Splashtop to connect to Windows 8. It basically turns my android tablet into a windows tablet temporarily. I think it is renamed to splashtop personal.
Sent from my GT-N5110 using xda app-developers app
For the best performance use Splashtop. VNC/RDP/X Forwarding and some other solutions can offer decent latancy for simple stuff but Splashtop is the best I've ever seen.
Also while most solutions make it impossible to watch a video over the connection and "Animation heavy" apps a pain, back before XFinity had an app, I would use Splashtop from my tablet and watch the movie through my desktops browser.
It's worth whatever the initial cost is these days.

Regarding splashtop & splashtop HD, although they're were both free, they're both older versions of splashtop personal (originally splashtop 2). they're not nearly as fast especially when switching from primary to secondary monitors. Althought... free is free.
jump desktop also allows rdp and vnc connections
the free version is limited to creating one connection only, however.
Best Remote Access
Splashtop Personal is best in quality to watch videos and control. btw, it's free over the same network bt access from anyware costs.....

yup splashtop is great:
1) it's streamer is also portable. From what I've read on the forums, you can copy it's whole program folder onto a usb flashdrive and run it from there so you don't have to install anything onto another computer if you ever have to control it via a local network (perfect for those on the spot power point presentations, this is where the screen 1 and 2 switcher on splashtop personal really flat out beats the old splashtops).
2) The only grip is with splashtop's new and faster technology, both computer and android device now should log in at least once via the net for it to work. you can disable the internet connection after but they must log in once. It would have been perfect except for this modification. As I said earlier, for those on the spot power point presentations, even with the portable streamer, you don'e always have access to the internet. Wish it had manual connection mode like the old splashtop. The only draw back...but otherwise...the best of the best....:
teamviewer, nothing better than that, with teamviewer qs, u can even remote yr android from pc, with teamviewer free, u can remote yr pc from android

Use OpenVPN to connect to your home network and use Splashtop. I had to do this since LogMeIn keep crashing my MacBook.
Download OpenVPN virtual machine, run it on your machine that is in ask the time, download the app from Google Play and you're good to go.
Evening all, anyone able to recommend a cable to connect the 8 to a TV? Could I just use any USB C to HDMI cable? I know I could use wifi but the tv I want to use doesn't have an Internet connection. Any advice would be great ta.
Would be easier to make recommendations based on what you are planning to do by connecting your phone to the TV. If it is simply to stream videos, a Chromecast is the best option in my opinion. I have one on each of my TV's and they work great with the Honor 8. Your TV doesn't need internet or to be a Smart TV.
Agree, Chromecast is the best way to go. Not much more experience than a cable, but much easier.
