Im sure its been asked before.. but how come it wont play? Do i need a new flash update? Says it doesnt support my phone or some crap
I'm thinking the best place to ask that question would be in the ROM thread.
I'm using MikFroyo 4.4 and it was working fine. The initial fix was to the FlashPlayer.apk. There has been a recent update to FlashPlayer on the market, if you downloaded that update, that would probably cause it to not work anymore. Try uninstalling the update (if its even installed).
it was actually working just fine with the flash in 4.4 but they have since put out 1-2 new updates to Flash since then, and it broke my Hulu also. Uninstalling the updates made it work again!
Hulu blocks mobile devices. People have been getting around this by tricking the site into thinking it's a windows device by hex editing the .so file. I haven't been able to locate the most recent edited version of Flash but the previous version has been posted on XDA.
I just flashed MikFroyo today and the Hulu works on mine.... I havent updated the Flash that I know of..

Easiest way to watch Hulu is to use the app that Mik included with the rom. After you choose video you want to view, make sure you click the hourglass when the window appears.
If you are trying to use your browser to use hulu.com, you need to change your browser settings to NOT view as a mobile website, and it should work fine as well!
Also, I am pretty sure if you update Flash from the Market you will lose the hulu mod.
Hope this helps!
The apk for netflix has been compiled out of the system dump for the new LG revolution. Apparently streaming video is not working as of yet, but otherwise it works perfectly! Hopefully the streaming portion will be working once dev's find a way around the drm issue where it checks to see if you have the proper processor...

So are you saying you've installed it and used it first hand? I tried downloading the apk to manually transfer and install it on the phone, and I also downloaded it straight to the phone, but it failed each time. When I downloaded it to the PC and transferred it to the phone the install failed, and when I tried to download it from the site straight to the phone it said it was not supported on the phone. I'm running the 2.1 global firmware by the way.

I flashed [Cyanogen6.1.3]gingerbread[v01] (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=947613) last night and was able to get it installed, but like many others I wasn't able to get past the login screen. It doesn't FC with an error, it just closes.
Oh well. Progress is progress i guess. At least at this point there actually is an app out there. The closest apps I have for now are AnimeWatch (anime is mostly what I watch on netflix anyway lol) and Droid Streamer.
Can't wait for netflix to be working though.
Has anyone else had flash stop working on their TB since the latest market update for Opera Mobile 11 on March 31st? It was working up to that point.
I no longer see it under operalugins (in the url) either and nothing obviously plays for flash. I've uninstalled opera totally, uninstalled flash and reinstalled both several times as well as flashed my rom and all data and installed from a clean slate, so it's not me as far as I can tell.
Flash still works fine in the stock browser though.
Do basically I've side loaded flash and I've installed many different versions of flash but it still won't work
The web browsers I've use haven't recognised that I have flash on the device
I've used firefox, flashfox, lightening broswer, maxathon, and xscope
Also boat browser always crashes as soon as I open it so I haven't been able to try it on that
So has anyone else got adobe flash working on the Nexus 5 and if so, how?
Or does flash not work on android 4.4 at the moment?

Flash isn't supposed to run on android anymore, and soon on every computer os, as it will be abandoned.
Using latest available apk in Adobe archives flash was running on stock browser at least, but perhaps Google decided finally to end the game.
If confirmed it will probably need a dirty dev hack to run again. I don't care about flash, but many many sites don't use html5 yet and need flash (Mega for example).
UC WEB
You may try UC WEB browser on Google play. Definately it supports flash in 4.3 version. And I have no idea if it will work on 4.4 as well.
So far, attempting to run Adobe flash on the new 5.0 lollipop has failed without much success within the stock.
I am using the Wifi variant of the tablet, without any rooting, unlocking (etc)
So far i have tried running dolphin with jetpack, along with many modified .apk versions of the adobe flash player. I have also used Flashfox and firefox ,and i still failed. The problem i get is that the moment any browser encounters a flash content, the entire browser cuts off(shuts down) and it blacks out for a second. I have tried installing many variants, many beta versions, and the versions available on playstore of the browsers, and i still could not succeed to make adobe flash run at my tablet.
I would like to mention one thing, adobe flash did work for about 10 seconds while running flashfox, installing a modified apk of the adobe flash, and it shut itself. After that, i tried clearing space, and resetting, reinstalling, it never worked. I feel like there is some sort of provisioning system within the nvidia stock system which works to disallow adobe flash to run WHATOSOEVER.
If you guys found a solution for this problem, please post, anything is accepted. thank you!!!!!!

Yup have tried Dolphin, Firefox, and Flashfox with both the normal Flash Player and the modified flash player. Tried Beta and Non-Beta versions of the apps as well. Nothing works!

The only option available is to use Puffin Browser, or one of those the pipe through a server, It actually works well. Adobe stopped supporting flash on Android so long ago that it just doesn't work anymore.
For web video I use Dolphin in ipad mode, they play that way without flash, if they are available in HTML5

Yes but Flash Player still worked fine in KitKat, using the modified Flash Player if necessary. Flash Player doesn't work at all in Lollipop.
How did you successfully use Flash Player on Kit Kat? I tried downgrading to Kit Kat for that sole purpose, and it still wouldnt work. I did modified flash player, and all sorts of tips and tricks. In fact, in the kit kat version, dolphin jetpack is disallowed.
I spent the whole day yesterday to figure out how to downgrade to KitKat, and now that I did it, Flash still doesn't work. I thought that it was a Lollipop issue
How can I make flash work on KitKat? Thanks!
Puffin Browser is THE solution.
Thanks god, all videos in the internet are switching to HTML5. Even some porn sites
I really hate puffin, but I would like to have Adobe Flash on this behemoth of a tablet to run, because it would be great for adobe flash gaming, and the options are almost limitless.
I need to get adobe flash player to work on android 5.0 lollipop in firefox for my kids home schooling can you help
