Friend of mine has a Sensation and i wanted to give him my desire hd for his phone, but the phone is from USA and i live in Albania it doesnt work with my SIM card , what do you guys recommend ? We will switch the phones and he wants no money for that , he's my friend but how long HTC will unlock their bootloaders will they unlock all sold devices or only the new ones when they will decide to do that?

I have a relative coming from U.S.. I want to order A Genuine OEM back cover.. Every site I visit says : For HTC Sensation 4G...
Will a Sensation 4G Back cover work fine in Normal Sensation (Non 4G)?
P.S: if it works.. Can someone link me to a good deal on Amazon/Ebay with U.S Seller?

you can always call HTC and ask for a new cover, they will send you one but gotta send them your old one
My set doesn't come in warranty... It was bought in U.K and then brought to Pakistan... I don't think there is Official support here in Pakistan other than official Sellers...
Tried a Sensation 4G back cover from my Friends Sensation and it fits quite well and Network signals work well.. thats the only thing I could check coz I had no Wifi nearby...

It will work, it would have problems the other way around. Now you would have one extra antenae that you dont use.
I'm new to sensation world, will buy one. My question is : How can i detect if a sensation is 4G version or not? Is the model PG58130 (it is below the imei code under battery) the 4G one or is this code used for both versions? Anyone help me on this stupid question Thanks
T-Mobile US is the only carrier which sells the Sensation 4G.

Yes it is. It's a sensation 4g!
sensation 4g is for t-mobile....u can detect it easily...sensation 4g having T-mobile print on left top of screen.

Halo, i live in europe, and my father is fling to china next week and i wanted him to buy me the htc butterfly(it will be released until then?) or the j butterfly (china stores importing it from japan), someone knows if one of them is unlocked for gsm networks? or there is a way to unlock them like the droid dna?

Yes both are unlocked for gsm and both have micro sd slots too..just different designs.
Hi, I have bougth a HTC thunderbolt verizon from a friend who bougth the phone in america.
I live in Holland (a.k.a. Netherlands) and i want to use the phone in my country..
when i put my sim card in my phone it says: '' please wait while your phone is activating ''
Does anyone know how i could unlock it? or isn't it possible to use this phone in holland?

The bolt isn't a global phone so it won't work on GSM bands nor can it be unlocked to work on GSM bands. Its CDMA/LTE/EVDO.

Yeah you would need to get a global phone like a HTC rezound or a droid 3 or 4. There are other global phones out that uses both CDMA and gsm. So best thing is to use it as like an iPod touch or sell it and look for a global phone.
