Hey!
I have a big problem.
In my HTC Desire S, I use a MugenPowerBattery with 1800 mAh. But the Battery Monitor Widget tells me, that it can only be charged up to 1450 mAh (capazity of the default battery from HTC). What can I do, that the phone let the battery charge up to 1800 mAh? (Something to overwrite in the System?)

Just curious, since it takes about 3 hours to charge a 900 mAh it should take about 6 hours to charge the 1800 mAh right? How long do you charge your?
1h45' for my 1800mAh battery ( from 2% to 100% ) with stock charge.
I don't know if this is showing my lack of understanding but...
I have just purchased two anker 1900 mAh batteries together with their own charger with a view to interchanging them when i am out and about with no access to a charger.
How will this work with reguards to battery callibration and battery stats?
I guess, to all intents and purposes, these two batteries will be practically identical at least straight out of the box.
Also, would it not confuse things further if i brought my original sensation battery back into the equation?
Any informed opinion would be much appreciated.
recently bought for 17.99 USD HyperIon 1800 MaH Battery x2 + wall charger... so far battery monitor says I'm actually getting 2400 MaH with the battery. Conveniently enough it comes with 2 battery's so one can be charging while you deplete the other... overall I give the product an 9/10. Strongly reccomend purchasing

its a lot better than buying an extended pack! battery monitor said the extended pack had aged so rapidly it was at 1700 within 2 months of proper charge cycles! wtf

Aftermarket batteries don't have built-in temperature sensors and can overheat and burn a hole in your pocket.
I got a new tablet, it has 4000 mAh Li-ion battery.
It was mentioned to fully charge it before use, doing that.
Now should let it fully discharge before charging or should I charge it before its fully discharged?
mate 8 battry capacity must be 4000 mAh but many apps give 3900 mAh and only one app gives 4000 mAh
is it 4000 or 3900 mAh ?
well, its kinda both. the official spec sheet states a 4000mAh battery, but with a minimum capable capacity of 3900mAh, its basically a guaranteed minimum since batteries, as all other components have production variances.
in this case it would thus be 3950 mAh +/- 1.3% (50mAh)
or
4000 mAh +/- 2.6% (100 mAh)
