you are really very quick dude...I have read somewhere that in cyanogen mod they have smartly reversed this effect...means when u will switch on device to unlock it then it will appear like old tv is turning on...
also i think our GB version support tv out by purposefully they have disabled it...is there any way to enable it...??? Can it be possible for you dude...!! I know its very hard work...

Wow, I was thinking of doing this today (I posted a couple hours ago about it!) but you're here with it already!
Great job!
But, which is which?
Attached Files
framework.zip (3.33 MB, 117 views)
framework-res.zip (5.57 MB, 58 views)
Which one is the standard orange glow and which one is red? Also, where's the CRT effect you mentioned?

Hey Guys,
I was feeling bored and reading on the N1 forum and found this interesting threat about the Droid X Eye LW. It happens that Britoso (Thanks bro ) was able
1)removed unnecessary images, file size is 1.1MB
2)added Blue, Cyan, Green and Golden eyes!
3)added a blue eye version with alternate background.
I have tested all of them in both the N1 and the EVO have no issues so far.

1. Copy the APK file you want to install to your phone's memory card and insert the card into your Android phone.
2. Go to Android Market and search for the Apps Installer application.
3. Open it and click on the Install button.
4. After it is installed, just open it. It will show you all the APK files stored directly in the root directory of your memory card.
5. Just click on the application you want to install and it will be installed.

Modified "framework-res.apk" & "twframework.apk"

Hi everyone
These framework-res.apk & twframework.apk are modified in like Gingerbread style. As it is inspired by the work of "The Dark Lestat".
I do all modification on his framework-res.apk and do some modification on twframework.apk by myself.
I think you people also like this .....
You all can install it using ADB as described here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11009769&postcount=1
Or
You may also use Root Explorer with root permissions

@The Dark Lestat yes the transparency is in twframework-res.apk
Yep. And i found problem why where was strange installations tripes. In framework res were two different stripes icons. One with blue color and one black. And in one picture stripes were directed to the right side and in other picture to left side...something like that. So I made black stripes only and now everything is nice

no bro...i never said its easy job. As u also mentioned that xxkph settings.apk has new options as compared to xxkpe then if we take xxkpe & directly apply then i think we will not see xxkph seeting's new option. I appreciate ur work bro & I also know how much theming needs a lot of hard work.
Almost the framework is the same, the apps however differ in a few ways, Maybe that can be looked into. Thanks vishaal
Nice work skin
please someone add overscroll glow effect. I want really badly overscroll+crt effect.
When being charged the lock screen shows 1% lower than the actual battery percent in About Phone and or any battery widget I use. Is that a problem?

[SystemUI.apk|framework-res.apk|build.prop] some common customisations

for flashable zip, follow blackedition link on my signature, and download "colourful notification bar" theme from op.
@mods
close this thread.
Posting here my SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk and my build.prop.
(mediafire links below)
SystemUI.apk
This one originally taken from wolfbreak v6, and done some theming on my part. contains coloured notification bar icons. and the quickpanel (on-off toggles on notification bar) also has coloured icons.
framework-res.apk
Stock 2.3.3 SE framework-res.apk has coloured icons and beautiful flip-n-fold animations. Also circullar 100 level battery and animated charging battery.
Both framework-res and systemUI have color coded notification icons. (i.e. blue for bluetooth, yellow adb, green for email etc etc) along with that signal and wifi levels are also color coded (4-bars = blue, 3-bars = green like that...) (data is also coloured. upload=red, download=green, both up and down = yellow)
This will work on *any* stock based 2.3.3 rom. (I've personally tried on wolfbreak, tripnraver, stock)
build.prop
just general tweaks. to make phone a little faster and more responsive here and there. (eg. proximity delay, windowsmgr events, dalvik=int:jit and others)
the values that are modified from stock build.prop are in a separate section "arnav's mods" so you can know which are changed.
click here for the code details
important note
if anyone can make an update.zip file out of these three files please do. you are certainly welcome. just notify me if you come up with it. thanks in advance.

the first picture, is from system ui and the second of framework?
having problems downloading systemUI, will ttry it tomorrow
clarifications
those power buttons in the pull down menu is the magic of SystemUI.apk, the circular battery is due to framework-res.apk and the icons in the status bar, some are from framework-res and others are from systemui. eg bluetooth icon = framework-res, signal bars = systemui.apk like that

Hi guys, welcome to my GreenGlow theme, I've had this theme on all of my Xperias and now releasing it for the Z1C community.
Requirements:
.108 Firmware
Rooted
Deodexed
Know how to flash or replace files
Whats Themed:
Framework
SystemUI
Keyguard
Phonebook
Conversations
Settings
Calculator
SemcClock
Features:
Dark Apps
Themed % battery
No tabs in Notifications
Small 4 Button Navbar
Advanced Power Menu
Screenshots:
Install:
Flash with CWM or extract then copy and replace each file. After reboot set GreenGlow as the Phone theme for the theme accent colour to display.
Download:
GreenGlow.zip [43.81mb]
Restoring:
If you want to restore back to stock files, this zip will replace every modified file in the GreenGlow.zip
Restore.zip [43.07mb]
Please Note:
I love this colour so it is the only one I'll ever work on, if someone wants to colourize every modified png then feel free, all I ask is that you post your work back here in this thread and I'll happily add it to the OP. I appreciate many of you use tabs in your notification window, I don't, so you will either need to sacrifice them or modify your own SystemUI which I will happily assist you with where needed.
Dialer and phonebook are still white, otherwise all great.

Thanks. You need to decompile the stock and modified SystemUI apks, replace the navbar.xml from the layout folder in the stock SUi with the one in the modified SUi, and remove the line...
Code:
<item type="id" name="newmenu">false</item>
...from the ids.xml in the values folder. You can grab a folder with everything you need to be able to mod from [Guide/Reference] The Basic APK & Theming Thread...
thx, i'll try
and, how can i keep 2 tabs in Notifications?

Hi guys, welcome to my GreenGlow theme, I've had this theme on all of my Xperias and now releasing it for the Z1C community.
Requirements:
.108 Firmware
Rooted
Deodexed
Know how to flash or replace files
Whats Themed:
Framework
SystemUI
Keyguard
Phonebook
Conversations
Settings
Calculator
SemcClock
Features:
Dark Apps
Themed % battery
No tabs in Notifications
Small 4 Button Navbar
Advanced Power Menu
Screenshots:
Install:
Flash with CWM or extract then copy and replace each file. After reboot set GreenGlow as the Phone theme for the theme accent colour to display.
Download:
GreenGlow.zip [43.81mb]
Restoring:
If you want to restore back to stock files, this zip will replace every modified file in the GreenGlow.zip
Restore.zip [43.07mb]
Please Note:
I love this colour so it is the only one I'll ever work on, if someone wants to colourize every modified png then feel free, all I ask is that you post your work back here in this thread and I'll happily add it to the OP. I appreciate many of you use tabs in your notification window, I don't, so you will either need to sacrifice them or modify your own SystemUI which I will happily assist you with where needed.
