I updated my Samsung focus to mango a few days ago (official method) and I noticed that the diagnosis app (samsung) is still working very well. question is, should I try to use it to tether my focus, or not take a chance?

I was wondering if unbranding and then using the VPN in Hungary was how the ChevronWP7.Updater worked. Because I'm wondering if I should find an Att Rom for my surround or not. Anyway thanks for any help! :]

No, the VPN method downloads the update OFFICIALLY from Microsoft servers the way Microsoft intended it.
ChevronWP7.Updater, as far as I know, pulls the update from the server and installs it one by one the way of WM6.5 ROM Flashing...
Again, not sure, but I can assure you the VPN method will not leave you hanging when it comes to future updates.
Ok thanks, just thought oh crap... Anyway thanks again

I'm using Beez... even though the live tile notifications has been stuck now for about a week, the app works great.
I have ben using Seesmic for a long time. Used in on the desktop, android, and now windows phone. Simple and efficient.
I'd guess that there is a registry key to turn off those letters which have been added to the app list in Mango, and I wondered if anyone could tell me which key it is?
Thanks

It kicks in at a certain number that I don't recall right now, as long as that is in the registry then I don't see why it can't be turned off. Or more specifically set higher ;-)

The Internet thinks it's 45, but I've taken it down to 44 and restarted and it's had no effect.
If only there was a way to search the registry for the value 45... ah there is: http://forum.touchxperience.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=593
...but the search function isn't working.
Yeah I've had a look manually but can't see it.

I did a search for the value 45 and only emoticon entries show up. Are you sure it's 45?
