[ROM] Frankenstein EC05OCE v1 *public beta*

Frankenstein EC05OCE v1 public beta (its been tested,just want more open opinions).
This is Syndicate ROM Frozen 1.1.0 based,much thanks to the entire ACS gang...
I suggest you Odin the DK28 modem once you are up and running the ROM,I am having much better resuslt then the EB13/EC05 modems.I dont have the time to explain everything thats in it,or post pics atm,but they will be coming soon,the theme is being changed still,so that may change.
Install procedure.
If you are on a SF ROM you can install this on top if you like,it will backup and restore,(please some try this way to see if it works 100%) I suggest doing a factory wipe and wipe caches atleast twice; This version has dual FS support,so you can use older CWM's. Now install ROM (3 versions),once this is done and its al booted up,check to see if the kernel was installed (Im adding the kernel update.zip,I recommend flashing this again to make sure); If the kernel was installed correctly you can then Odin the DK28 modem and enjoy...

No CIQ.
Twilight Zone v1.0.4 (most stable and compatible,Ive tested them all).
Nexus browser,thanks kOnane (proper thanks to everyone soon,promise).
Smallest base ROM out atm.
CApps and NApps,these .zips should be looked at (unzipped,or open archive and remove whats not wanted),
I will be ripping those 2 update.zips apart and making them into several once ROM is released,
CApps = Core Apps.
NApps = NoN Critical Apps.
No2chem files added.
Missing the keyboard patch atm,I think I forgot to add it,I just noticed some skips.

I flashed 86mb right over and everything is hitting well... Quick question, Does your MyFrank come with the LP? I was diggin the Honeycomb theme.. Im gonna try and flash that version right over and see whats up... Another question, I was running MyFrank EB13 with the Genocide Kernal... Will this version be more battery friendly? Geno with Myfrank EB13 was kind of a battery drainer....

Nope,ADW won all of my test,well it didnt win all,but it had my highest score. If you want I can make an update.zip if needed,its not hard to add to the ROM if you know how to pull it from the EB13 ROM... Ill help,just dont want to clutter the download section when I change the OP (damn I just remebered I forgot to reserve a couple spaces,DOH...)
Ill make a new thread later. I think this has great battery life with Twilight Zone 1.0.4 and DK28 modem combo,but I suggest flashing the kernel again to make sure its installed.
Edit::: I wouldnt flash EB13 over EC05,you will be back on EB13...

Which kernal are you using?
I haven't lost root, I have however lost root when flashing the geno kernal over the FrankEB13.. this is what I did and it came right up..
Restore your nandroid,wipe 3 times full, dalvik and cache, then reflash.. It worked like a charm...

Awesome Bionix Infinity Theme On Any Rom

so i was gettin really bored with the stock theme. so i decided to try and copy the frameworks used to theme the rom onto my infused rom. and it worked! its awesome! i have zipped the files you need into a folder. just extract and copy to system/framework u can backup your current ones if ud like. enjoy!

Its not very wise to start mixing and maxing frameworks from different ROMs. Also I have put alot of work into my ROM, and though I dont mind, if anyone wants to use it in parts or as a whole .... Just PM ME. Like the Matrix theme going on, it looks great , and has some Bionix goodness baked into it. Take it "account disabled" into thought, and just rest assured its for a reason.

MOD Build.Prop for Devs UPDATE: improved 7/17/11

So im sure many dev's know about the build.prop tweaks including krylon and drhonk(they just didnt have a phone to test on) so i took the liberty into modifying my own build.prop which is also in my team's rom ICBINB
im posting this build.prop for other devs or noobies to grab and look at
what ive noticed is that the values for the "sweet spot" on our phone are much different then those on other phones samsung and HTC
This is a performance mod/tweak and can turn any rom into an extremely smooth rom, basically this is ONE of the few secrets that make the ICBINB rom soo smooth but since i love our community ill release it so you can enjoy any rom with the smoothness of ICBINB
IF YOU USE ANY OF TEAM ACIDS MOD'S BE SURE TO GIVE CREDIT TO TEAM ACID ESPECIALLY THIS MOD, it WAS an ACID secret, and could have been kept secret so please be respectful of others people's work

UPDATE: requested, i have made a modified build.prop for the GB users, note though that i have not tested it for GB so this was blind building however there should not be any proplems if there are let me know, you can either flash the GB rom then flash the performance zip or flash the GB rom and use a file explorer with root access to push the file manually, WHOEVER USES IT LEMME KNOW HOW IT WORKS PLEASE
UPDATE: i have found an even sweeter spot for the sgs4g, pleas enjoy even smoother, more fast and better battery saving qualities with the newly updated build.prop
If you had my low OC settings from ICBINB be aware they might cause the phone to freeze with this new build.prop im looking for new values now

using a file explorer with root access push the build.prop to /system then reboot give it 10-20 minutes to take full effect

Anyway, I wouldn't recommend Dropbox for rom hosting, the free accounts only have 20GB bandwidth and it empties out rather quickly. Try Google Drive or dev-host.

As long as you have a Gingerbread BB you should be fine as 21A and 21E are both open source builds. If you flashed 21E via KDZ you shouldn't have any issue but if you run into problems let me know.

Hey Saaqirajput,
I advise please do not install this onto your SU760 as this rom is ment for the P920 i would have to remake this into a V20F if you would like to use it or you could use XBSA's V20F ICS themed if you wanted a rom with ICS themeing ported. The link for XBSA's

Hi, it would be nice if you add some screenshots so we can see what we are flashing I think the majority wants to see some screenshots before they flash anything on they Phone or is it just me..?

Sorry i havent noticed the yt video but i still like the screenshots more because im allways on xda via Phone and i hate watchin yt videos on a phone
btw. the ROM looks really nice! ill try it ASAP the stock "design" is gettin boring

this rom is running pretty good. really smooth (changed to holo launcher and holo locker to get moe like ICS)
coming from liquidbeats to this i've noticed a drop in battery life... not a big issue but means i have to charge my phone a lot and my phone seems to heat up a lot more than it should....
anything i can do to try and fix this?

Are you running a custom kernel or stock from the rom? Because alot of Kernels like iblueminds focus on battery life. I do notice that sometimes mine heats up a fair bit only if im using it for a long period of time other than that its ok im still running on stock thats in my rom. I will hopefully have my kernel working correctly soon so i will be able to see how good battery and all that is with a custom kernel.

Yeah i notice that the battery is not very good with the stock boot try using iblueminds kernel that should help with the battery issue.

Installed the kernel but now i have problems with the sound. Keeps crackling whenever i do anything involving sound. Both on speaker and headphones.

Just want to give a big thanks for doing this. I Love Remics and despite trying 50 other ROMs, I always go back to it. I like the TW style and transitions far better than any other launcher and actually just started trying to piece together my own ROM using the ported TW5 launcher, etc but this should fill my need and become my new daily ROM.

I dont know why the advance settings doesnt work properly, anw, u can try flashing the hot fix for RemICS I made and see if it works out or not...
And bout the modem, every roms that come w a modem apart from KJ6 would show KJ6 instead of the correct version so...just trust me that u r using LB6 cause I put it in ^^

Looking good so far. Mine shows LB6 but I came from LB6, so maybe the modem isn't flashing properly for those that see KJ6 still?

Quick question. I bought this phone recently and it came with valhalla final pre-installed on it. I know in order to flash this rom I have to be on ics first so my question is do I flash CM9 and then than flash this rom or do I have to go back to stock and then flash CM9 and then this? I'm only asking since some roms are BML and MTD and I'm a bit confused

Boo for CWM recovery, I like TWRP better. So much easier with touch and all the features in it.

This rom is really good but the youtube app doesnt play any videos :/ & the sms app the bubbles look wierd here a picture

You can always flash the stand alone twrp zip if you want it that bad.
