Is there an eBook Reader that would allow me to get these monthly free books from The University of Chicago? I've tried Kindle and the builtin reader on my TF with no luck. TIA - sheureka

That doesn't really answer his question. No, your tab SHOULDN'T have a reader app. Or rather, it SHOULD - but T-Mobile chose to remove the reader apps. If you search around on the forums you can find APKs for the missing components, but I haven't found them to be completely bug-free. Laputa is a nice eReader. At least, it's my favorite.
My korean version has not only leaders hub, but also T store book and T store comic preinstalled and it was awesome..... Both ment to be korean online bookstore's kindle app but also works as a great reader. not support many features like moon+ reader but works stable. UI was best I ever seen
You were looking at reviews of the non-us version, In the US they strip all the good apps, and load our devices with bloatware.
So where could we find an installable version of the Samsung eBook ereader?

It wont work unless you flash the euro software onto it. Already tried and was really disappointed. They advertise the reader on US TV and they don't even include it!
Is there any ebook reader for windows 7 mobile.? I have some books on mobi format, but I can not find an ebook reader that will open them.

that would be cool
I'm looking for an eReader that has cloud functionality. Aldiko + Aldiko Sync & Mantano come close, but not close enough.
I mainly want something that supports PDF, ePub, Mobi
Syncs reading progress & bookmarks, annotations
Works on Android, but somehow can be used on PC with full sync of progress/bookmarks/annotations - even if its some kind of Chrome web app reader
Calibre library management support

fabrik?
Fabrik; also FBReader + FBReader Sync. FBReader has a Linux version; also a Windows version "coming soon".
What you really want is Kindle, though it only works with books you buy from Amazon. Does everything you want. Including a reader in your browser (maybe a PC app as well but I don't think so).

That's not entirely true. You can send anything to your Kindle app. Once you register to you get an email address. [email protected]. Send the document to that address and it appears in your Kindle within minutes.
Will the Kindle app allow me to import non-Amazon ePub/Mobi/PDF? I was under the impression that you had to use material that was purchased from them.
You can import your stuff into kindle but it won't stay synced across all devices.

Kindle(which versions),Ipad,Nexus,Samsung tab etc..?
Well, most readers support epub and for the mobi format I sugguest you use the ebook manager 'Calibre' (Freeware). This programm can convert mobi format into the format you prefer.
I personally use the pocketbook touch (622) ebook reader it seems to support epub (for sure) and prc(mobi) (not tested myself yet).
Nook as well

I have a Kindle that I received as a gift - but I use Calibre and it auto-converts epub to mobi without me having to do anything. Great for laziness and not using braaaiiiiins.
