If I try to snap a picture while listening to music, the music stops. Anyone have any suggestions for this? Am I the only one with this problem?

Me too. I would guess to keep the battery from over heating. Or small bug. Either way its easy to live with for me.

im guessing it stops because you could be able to switch to camcorder or because it uses the SD card, my HD2 allows me to listen to music, but as soon i take a picture it skips while the song is playing. im guessing that is why

Is anyone else experiencing "skipping" when playing music through Bluetooth? It's happening using Pandora and the stock music player.

I found that mine skipped when I had wifi on (and was not connected to an AP). Try turning wifi off.
Thanks. I'll give that a try.

That happens to me every once and a while even without Bluetooth. My theroy is that another CPU process is running (like sync) slowing the CPU down to a crawl. I am not sure why that happens with a 1Ghz but it also happens playing Modern Combat so I'm assuming thats why. Froyo should fix it.
I've been listening to music (stock samsung player) over bluetooth (Motorola S305) since a couple weeks now, no issues, no skipping with or without wifi.
mine seems to do it at the beginning of the songs within the first 30 seconnds to a minute of first listening. then it doesn't really do it too much(maybe once every few songs). I attribute it to all the widgets I run raping my phone day in and day out. poor little captivate... she takes it like a woman though.
Thanks for all of the replies. I tried turning wifi off and that worked for me.
Anyone elses audio come out fuzzy when using voodoo driver? Doesn't matter which db setting I use. I'm going 3.5mm to 3.5mm on my car radio and it happens no matter what listening to Pandora, Spotify, etc. Any ideas? Thanks!

Nothing huh?
Same here, if I turn up the volume.
Sent from my G2X
I only have that with Pandora but I'm not sure if its the phone or app because it is the ad free one posted in our themes and apps for the g2x.

Edit: after I said that I noticed it while watching YouTube videos and when cask forwarding a song in default music player
So I wonder if it's just the G2x, if it does it without voodoo, etc. What is the root hmmm
Are you also charging your phone at the same time? Car chargers tend to make the phone's audio jack all buzzy.

Nope not charging
Flashed over to the Revelation v2 ROM(loving it) and I went to flash my beats audio zip and since doing so all my music skips, whether I'm using default music player or Google music player. As far as other audio such as ringtones they all work fine no skipping. So I started fresh wiped my phone reflashed Rev v2 and let it boot up and settle then flashed beats audio and still same problem. Any ideas? Maybe I did something wrong? Let me know what you think.
Peace out with the grease out,

I've found if I put my music on the e internal SD, then I get better play. Almost always have issues if I put it on external.

I did this and my music/sounds come in clear now.
+1
Is the a way to record video's from my phone and use a song instead of what the mic picks up all from the phone or do I have to use the computer. It would be cool if there was a way to actually do that right through the camera app. Maybe someone with the know how can make a mod for that.

Does anyone experience skipping on jellybean when playing music and doing something ? Aka Pandora and texting?
Its so bad sometimes.
Anyone figure out a fix? Dalvik tweaks etc?

Yeah...ignore the signature but I experience it as well on my infuse...I think it has something to do with memory allocation...or lack of memory...

I lowered vm heap to 128 because 256 is ridiculous. But it didn't make a difference. Maybe 64.

I have found PowerAmp to run pretty smoothly, with slight bumps when switching on or connecting bluetooth. Quite probably a question of processor/memory allocation. The other skips are attributable to alerts from email and other apps that tend to interrupt. In general, though I've found the app does a pretty good job in filtering out such interruptions.
Id say use poweramp

i third poweramp, or you can try flashing team ac!d's audio hack or whatever it is, you can find a thread for it in the infuse dev section, if you decide to try it please report you findings as my gf is getting very annoyed by the skipping and if its a solution thats great
Well my wife mostly uses pandora. Amd thats where its the worst due to wifi streaming as well as the rest of the reasons.

For Pandora, it's just because of the data connection.
Otherwise it is because of the buffer size that we have on out jellybean.
I found a perfect fix for that problem.
Install player pro with DSP manager
Go to setting then sound. You will see buffer size and putridity. Make both maximum. Then music will not lag anymore.

i say increase the minimum CPU GHZ from 0.1 to .2.... it happened to me as well and increasing that helped me with my infuse and my brother's captivate so the music wont skip.
