I know a few people are experiencing this with the latest drop of Fresh Evo 4.1.1.0 but I am unable to find a solution to this issue on the forums. I updated from Fresh Evo 3.5.0.1 and I'm aware of the loss of widgets in the status drop down, but I'm not that concerned about the loss of those widgets. I would like to have the status bar that displays the battery life, time, cell signal strength, 3G info, and GPS info across the top of the phone. Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

I don't know why but randomly my battery bar on the top bar of my phone changed to the time. I just want to know if anyone knows why this happened and how to get it back to show the battery bar again
I have the xv6800 wm6.1 stock rom
Is there a way to replace the signal bars in the status bar with signal value in dbm?
Or is there an app that will display it in the notification area?
I found a few Widgets in the market but none of them work on gingerbread.

this existed in cyanogen 6.1, the signal bar is replaced with the -dBm reading. but it has not yet been ported to cyanogen 7.0 as of now. hopefully its coming soon, but nobody knows yet. this needs root, and no app will be able to change the framework as far as i know. it needs to be in a custom ROM.
I've updated to the official HTC ICS release, using the flashable ROMs created on here from the OTA file.
All is great, loving ICS so far.
One thing I've noticed, the little icon on the top bar to show I am connected to a wifi point is grey, with just the little circle bit white , as though it was a low signal strength. This is with it next to the router. Apps like network signal info aren't showing any signal %age at all, not even a 0. It's working fine though, speedtest apps give excellent scores.
When I go into wifi settings and scan for access points, those are correct. My router is fully white, whilst ones around on the street are various levels of whiteness.
It's just that notification icon, and the signal strength in apps, that is not showing.
Any ideas?
Reboot, and then it's back to normal.

Are you kidding? As the phone is rebooting I'm thinking did they mean the phone or the router. When the phone comes back on and all my bars are there I'm like could it have been simpler? No I guess it couldn't have.
I love the new transparent status and navigation bars, and I like the new signal bar and battery colors, but now I can't see if my connection is up (pinging Google) or not.
The traffic arrows have been moved to the notification drawer widgets, so you can't tell if data is passing just by looking at the status bar. It's no biggie, but while trying to troubleshoot why Spotify wasn't showing album art or avatars (FYI, it's a bug), I realized I couldn't tell if my data was working.
I'm sure this can be fixed eventually with some tweaks, but this made me realize how much I rely on this on my day to day

Thumbed up. I was searching for this, it's a must use when you switch from home to work, and you need a fast way to enable data on phone.
Help us Devs
The H and up/down arrows on my status bar are much further away from the signal strength indicator than they seem to be in all the screenshots of Lollipop I've seen, I've tried restarting but I don't really have any other ideas on what I can do. I've attached an image of the problem.
Any help would be appreciated!
I don't have this issue on my US generic lollipop firmware.
