Hello Everyone,
I have gor recently an Huawei mobile C8600 in china telecom.
I have try to download some applications using the chinese software is ok,but the majority still chinese software, when i am redirecting in android market,i can't download files using my gmail account.
The initial firmware of my phone is 2.1, i want to know if possible to upgrade to 2.2 or others ? if possible , please how should i do.
I have tried to read subject related to this phone but in vain nothing found . Maybe i have not found well.
With this upgrade I hope to enjoy immediate the best applications .

Hi all, a freind of mine commited the ultimate sin and paid MORE for a Samsung i718 (WM 5)than I paid for my HTC Hermes...and the OS in CHinese. He's called Samsung HK and TW and neither will help him, anyone know where I can find an English ROM for this device? Are there tools out there to dump the ROM from another samsung? Is he totally boned?
I know it's not the perfecdt place for this question but I can't find anything about moding this phone or any ROM downloads. Thanks in advance to anyone whyo can help me!!

Although I didn't actually commit the greatest sin myself, I have one of these phones and now need it in English.
My wife's father sent me one from China. NOWHERE in the system options does it have a place the select English language. This is the only phone I have ever seen from China that doesn't have English! NUTS!
Now, I'm not too savvy with all of the lingo being used on this forum but SURELY there must be a way to install the English version of WM6 onto this phone. Can someone please explain my options to me? I feel useless without this phone in English!

There is an english rom for I718 (althrough I718 is a chinese variant of a I710). It called I718ZMGF4 and meant for I718+ (WM6 mod of i718). Works fine on both I710 and I718. Links: PDA part, GSM part. Note: gsm part of firmware must be flashed with special flashing cable (suitable for Samsung D800, D820).
That's AWESOME! Can someone please explain how I would do the installation of the English ROM? Please keep in mind that I am a total noob and have never done this before. The most I have done before is update the firmware for my sony ericsson, but that was using their update service.
If someone could write a little step by step, or even point me to a thread about flashing phones, that would be awesome. I am just afraid I will brick the whole phone.

i have upgraded my huawei honor 4x che2-ul00/2g RAM chines version to
lolipop 5.1.1 "DEVELOPER EDETION " & NOW it's not accepting any rom exept
developer version!! i am trying to flash stable & official ron but no chance to success
phone is not rooted + lock bootloader(requested for unlock bootloader code from
huawei but NO code YET. also tried more then 100 time to root almost with all rooting
app and programs , nothing get result.
please help me to solve this problem,thanks in advance
After updating to lollipop 5.1 developer edition Google play store not working and try many ways to activate Google account &get back Google but not activate

I received the new Lenovo phab plus without any google apps ( no google play, chrome etc..), also seems that the firmaware is code CN( china), the sotware version : PB1-770N_160701, build number: PB1-770N_S000101_160701_PRC.
I would like to unblock the whole chinese manufacture settings to able to have a full customize Phablet working aroud the world and wit hthe last android version . I would like to install French keyboard, language, download from google play store, etc... but impossible !
Can someone help me to unblock my device ?
PS: I'm in Belgium maybe it will help to find the appropriate root, build..

- 720p screen
- 1GB memory
- 16GB space
- 1,2 ghz processor

Hello everybody good day. I am a pilipino and I am very sorry if my english language is not that good but I will try my very best. Actually I am a number one fan of this site since i had fix several phone by reading some threads and user response and I am so glad without any xda account I was able to download the links found in here. Today I badly in need myphone my76 dtv firmware for my brothers phone that's is why I decided to create an account since I cannot find any firmware in any other known sites. The problem with this phone is when you turn it on it stuck on android logo and nothing happens,tried to perform hard reset but recovery doesn't work. Thank You so much
