Media Share (DLNA server) app? - Droid Incredible Themes and Apps

I'm loving the baked-in HTC Media Share app in the 3.0 ROMS! All of my media files stream through the blu-ray player, but some of the videos come through with no audio. The file type is the same, 3gp, between the ones where the audio plays and the ones that don't. And its always the same videos that don't have sound, so I'm a little stumped. All videos play fine on the phone and PC as well.
Has anyone else had this issue? I've tried the iMedia Share app from the Market with the same results.

[Q] Best video player?

I've been trying different media players, but haven't found one I really like. Can anyone recommend their favorite media player that supports XviD and matroska (mkv) formats? I've found that many of them lose audio sync when playing higher res movies.
Thanks guys

[Q] MyNet / DLNA

I have had my Windows 7 in the list of dlna server for my tf101.
I can see all videos, etc...
But when i try to play one, it always says "Fail to load" on almost every videos...
somes are mpg, avi, etc.
Isn't DLNA supposed to play what ever my windows 7 will stream ?
If it is the case those videos works really well on the windows 7.
What i am missing ?
Have you tried installing a decent media app like V player, Rock player, Zimly etc - pref with one with its own codecs?
Download UPnPlay, myNet is a POS IMHO

I agree UPnPlay works really well, mynet uses the default gallery movie app which won't support most of your vids rendering it pretty useless.

Are you saying that there is a way to get MyNet to use another player? myNet works for me, I can see my videos on my Twonky NAS, but I can't play any of them with the default player of course. As far as I can see, there is no way to use another player with myNet.

[Q] Video Streaming From Pc

What possible solutions are there for streaming content whether it music or video from a PC to the htc Sensation, i have a lot of movie content and would like it if i could choose video files and play them (stream) so i dont have to download it to the sd card via USB.
Thanks.
I use VLC Stream & Convert, VLC Direct seemed to be very choppy when I played avi's from my PC.
You open VLC on your computer and add a Web Interface for it to work.
The buildin video stream player worked out of the box with my home NAS. I can stream 720p avi's over wifi. All I needed was ES File Explorer for access to NAS.
That is using standard UPnP protocols I think, so it should work with your windows media centre. You will have to enable sharing of your files and actually point the WMC to the folders that you want to share.
Try it and report back,
rio
PS: if you have lots of MKV files, I'm still looking for streaming options...
Thanks for the info, using es explorer did just what i needed, it does play choppy like you said but i think its to do with the player and not with the connection. I am able to play high quality blu ray files 10-20gb but its even more slower so will need to find a better video player i would say...
Whats the best video player out there ??
we need vlc for android

[Q] 1080p WMV file streaming

Hello All,
I'm trying to stream a few 1080p wmv files on my tf101 (originally present on my laptop and accessing them over LAN through ASTRO file manager and then playing on my tf101) using a lot of video players such as Moboplayer, Yxplayer, aVia player, etc. However, none of these video player apps seem to play the videos seamlessly. All of the player start to lag once 30 secs of the video is played.
Any suggestions please? Have checked for this question in the forums and couldn't find any exact one. Sorry if I have repeated the question.
Thanks in advance.
Nanda.
I've had the best results streaming 1080p wmv files using MXplayer. All the other players would have the audio out of synch.

[Q] Need a Recommendation on PC to Android Streaming App

I prefer the app to have a wide support of video formats. Bonus if it does Audio streaming also.
Thank you

I run ps3 media server on my PC for DLNA, then install BubblePnP on my android to stream the DLNA which plays through MX Player. Works perfectly.
Gotta use DLNA if you want to stream 720 or 1080. You cant use SAMBA its too slow.
- please Click Thanks if i helped.
I love BS player for this..also has lot of features like playing from YouTube, vid formats etc..it has good WiFi streaming performance as well, you just have to share the folder on PC and open file thru bsplayer ..very easy..
thanks for the suggestions, I will give them a shot.
I was aiming for something like installing a software on the pc and then installing an app that will allow me to browse the pc and stream my content.
