Today i came across the information about the new HTC Pyramid aka Sensation.
April 12th is the day when this new device may see the daylight in UK.
Here is the info what is posted on phandroid.com

I don't know how credible this information is but i also checked some more sources and all have mentioned the same date April 12th 2011
So I hope this 1st 2Core device from HTC will be on our shop shelf in a less than few weeks

I've seen some1 already got this phone for sale in Croatia. But the price tag is "only"750 EUR The price on picture is wrong cos is not 5500 EUR but 5500 Croation Kuna so converting that to EUR u come out about 750EUR

They will unlock it with a future software update, i'm sure
they did it with the Desire

well EVO 3D it will be nice too, but the price will be much more than for Sensation.
Why every1 go for this 3D ? Cant see any benefit to have 3D screen of 4" size.
Anyway these days 3D technology is no good for me cos cause my headache

Why? They didn't unlock the HD2's 720p recording.... (afaik) ....it had to be done through Android and WinPho7!

they couldnt with the hd2 because winmo didnt support 720p. Otherwise they would have unlocked it. It was the stupid software restriction.
Im quite certain they will release 1080p for this. Its their flagship first gsm dual core beast!

100% find that VERY hard to believe that (as someone who has done assembler and hit low level hardware ... hard).
If the hardware exists, its just a (software) driver away from use and i'm damn sure HTC's devs would know how to do it.
edit: I find it MUCH more likely they said .... "ahh poke it, we ain't developing WinMo anymore so lets not waste time on it"

Can't wait for this! Hopefully it'll be my next upgrade!

Specs are really decent for it's price. After I turned this phone was like wtf. Screen is gorgeous, vivid and colorful (someone may think brightness is not really enough, but it's good as it is). The only bad thing about this phone is camera, but for it's price, i don't really care about it. How to ROOT:
Connect phone via USB in USB develop mode and allow to install application with unknown sources.
Run ZhuoDaShi v.2.2.15.
On screen we will see Chigon A720 (or model that you put in your build.prop).
In left down corner there is link with ROOT text, at first it gonna be red color. Click on it.
External window will open with ROOT button. Click button and wait for proccess end.
After it's done, it will install SuperSU on your phone.
If you will return on ZhuoDaShi home page, you can see green ROOT link.
Reboot your Chigon A720. Done :laugh:

GPS works fine, even better with custom firmware and patch.
As for IMEI tool, it's just for issues that may happen or even not Just shared good and handy tool :angel:

Oops sorry. These are good devices for the money, worst thing being screen res.
Battery life 2 hours hard gaming, 4 hours otherwise.
Gaming wise superb vfm, all emus playable, plays asphalt 8 etc as well.

The SkelRom doesnt work for me (brand new JXD S5110B) as the camera support is broken. Says "cannot connect to camera" and Skelton can't fix it (suggests that JXD have new camera hardware).
Sounds strange to me as stock rom works fine with camera - surely the rom is a debloated stock with some extras added?

Perhaps you have new ROM version?

Its 7.9mm at its thickest point which is slightly thicker than Iphone 5S (according to that video anyway).
Either way its a looker IMO

I have mtk6589T and only get 13000
Its a smaller more effiecient processor as well so hopefully even the small battery can last a day.
Hoping to order monday as long as the sale of my B6000 go's through.
Once I get it I will root and make a review, and start to modify stock rom or bug fix!

I am in the process of exploring the device and getting used to it. It is full of bugs at this point and doesn't run as smooth as I'd like. It's still a great deal for $200. It took about 2 weeks to arrive. You can get one online by just googling onda v989. I doubt I am allowed to place a link, feel free to look it up. You can request it in English. Unfortunately, you need to update the firmware as soon as you get it and the firmware is in Chinese. It took a little experimentation to figure out how to change it to English, but once I figured it out, I was off to the races.
Some problems I have had: The battery runs down pretty quick. I believe they are still tuning the driver set for the Bit/Little processor. There's just something off about the battery. It is falsely reporting the top consumer as "Cell Standby" which I found out is just a bug in the code and its not actually cell standby. I would assume its the screen that is taking up all the juice.
I have also had problems with charging - with some of the firmware I have used it reboots while it is charging every 10 minutes or so. I haven't really had time to figure out the root of this problem, but I have tried a full factory reset to try to get this thing stable. Still no luck.
There always appears to be some Chinese characters on the screen even though I switched to english. I would assume that the Chinese characters are due to Chinese versions of applications installed and I have since replaced those apps with the english version. I have worked around this mostly. I would love there to be an English version of the rom.

I was just looking to see the highest antutu scores are coming in and I am shocked that this is significantly higher than the highest I have found. The top I have seen is around 42k! This thing blows that away. I just ran it again thinking that it was some kind of a fluke and sure enough, 63k again!
