If it's green, try updating the firmware. This was fixed by Asus.

I have version 8.2.3.9. And haha too bad the twins are awful. How can I force the update? THX

I'm betting the servers are down or something. I just check a 8.2.3.9 tablet and it refuses to update, telling me that there are none available. I'd give it a day or so.
You might be able to manually flash it if you find the update .zip (looked quick and I couldn't), then boot into recovery and try flashing it, but I haven't poked around the TF's recovery yet so not sure if you can manually flash on stock recovery.

Hey I don't if you checked, but you can download the updates directly from the asus support page. The newest one dated may 11 should be on there. Here's the link... http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=Eee+Pad+Transformer+TF101&p=20&s=16
EDIT: My bad the newest firmware is 8.2.3.9 Sorry.

This link still shows 8.2.3.9.
I got my Amazon order of 16G today too, with 8.2.3.9, check for update, none.
Sorry to hijack your thread, does anyone what could cause this and how I could fix it? The main camera shows lines, the smaller camera works ok. I updated to latest software with the built in update check and no change. Is there anything else I can try? That built in update is same as rom update? Or rom updates other things too?
I posted a separate topic for this

Netflix Update [5/31/11]

Yep. It was pushed to my device, and now, won't load until the update happens.
Running CM7 with Nightly 76 with the "No Device Check" version for a while now.
Anyone know where to get the updated apk for our phone yet?
Been watching a good part of the day and now it wants to update before working.

Yep, I decided to uninstall it and probably run a different nightly to see if it works.

Looking for stock email.apk, deleted by mistake.

Hi,
Can someone send me the original email.apk located in /system/apps, I accidentally deleted it.
I don't use it but thought is should still be there so I don't have any future issues.
I was trying to overwrite it with a version that let me change the theme from black on white text, to white on black.
I was unable to find a version like that that would install.
I was hoping foolishly, that the new version of the email app that was provided by Samsung's Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch on Sprint upgrade to ICS would work but it did not even install.
If I could install that I would be happy.
I currently am using Katien Mail (pro version of K-9), which does not always integrate with some default procedures.
Thank you for providing me with the original if you can do it.

Which version of app is in this apk ?
---------- Post added at 04:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:47 AM ----------
Ok. I found apkspy tool. It's 4.1
Is there newer version? I suppose this app is made from maildroid, but looks better, so maybe in newer version will be functionality for sorting mails into folders like in maildroid.

Ok. Short explain.
I'm looking for good email client (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1864232)
This app is similar to maildroid, but looks better.
Some time ago MailDroid added sorting to folders and filtering e-mails functionality.
In my ARHD (which is based on stock) there is email.app v4.1, I want to try if newest version of this app have same functionality like in maildroid and better look like my 4.1 version.
but, now I know, that email app don't change between ICS and JB, it doesn't matter if it is from Asus or stock android.
I still looking for good email client..... hopeless.....

I applaud your unbridled optimism Sir.
ASUS hinted at this yesterday on FB. Their post "When Mr. Jellybean is in the office, it means something good is coming."

I've learned from the TF101 ICS update - be careful what you wish for!!! For those that don't know, my (and others) TF101 has basically become very un-reliable since they introduced ICS.
While I truly *hope* we don't have such issues with the Jelly Bean upgrade, I certainly don't have a lot of confidence in Asus at this point.
I just hope that they don't rush it and test it properly before releasing it and forcing the upgrade on us (which is exactly what they did with the ICS update on the TF101).
I do know that my TF700 has some of the same ICS issues that the TF101 had (OpenGL out of memory errors, for example, which causes your launcher to go "blank")....

Great! Very exciting news to wake up to!
When Firmware actually starts dropping DON'T FORGET TO!!
*Side load your FLASH PLAYER. If you want flash. It will no longer show up in the Playstore any longer
*Revert back whatever modding/altering to system files just in case Rooters. Only if you want your OTAS to actually complete. Or if running a custom rom it wouldn't work anyways as you already know.
*Don't forget to backup your Root with Voodoo Ota Rootkeeper! You will definitely lose root if you don't
Time to obsessively check every 5 minutes for the update!!!

*sighs* I want all my devices to run Jellybean today, here is to hoping it will happen.
As I'd normally recommend rooting myself, I don't think it's necessary in this case. Why not just install .apk with Flash after allowing unknown sources? I believe it should suffice, although I don't know if it's any different with the JB system of permissions.
No need to root to install Flash on Jelly Bean. At least not on the Nexus 7.

I can confirm - my father just bought a Nexus 7 - I emailed the Flash app to him and he was able to install it and it worked without any rooting or anything.
He used Boat Browser (per my recommendation) - not sure about other browsers, but I assume it work with all expect for Chrome, of course...

To everyone who wants flash, the easy way is to place the apk somewhere on Dropbox/Google Drive/Physical medium and install it from there, also since this week Adobe Flash Player is not available in the Play Store. http://www.pcworld.com/article/260901/android_flash_player_rip_how_to_get_it_now_that_its_gone.html

Everyone remember to backup the files created by titanium backup themselves to a removable SD card or your PC.
As for JB, I am not sure we can expect it for the TF700 right away ... the TF300 is so similar to the nexus 7, I'm sure they only slightly modified their nexus 7 kernel.
Is it just me or does anyone else thinks it's wrong that Asus updated their cheap tablet before their flagship?

No, the tf300 probably just happened to be ready first. It would silly to make all of the tf300 wait a few days just because the tf700 wants it first lol
