Regarding XDA App and Q&A Section - HTC Sensation

hay guyz
So in the XDA app on my phone I had added the Sensation section to my favorites before there was a Q&A section. So when a Q&A Section was added it didn't add that section to the sub-forums in my phone app. It wasn't until today that I noticed there is actually a Q&A Section. For those who are in this boat too, just remove the Sensation forum from your favorites and then re-add it and the Q&A Section will show up. Hopefully this helps atleast a few folks.
Cheers, TJB

[XDA App][FIX] New forum not showing up on your XDA App? Try this!

Hi!
So, for those of you who haven't heard, we've got a new sub-forum (YIPPIE!). It's located in the "Legacy Device and Low Activity" forum (previously just "Legacy Device" forum).
A lot of you use the XDA App and have noticed, or rather noticed the lack of the forum (still in the old place, in the old order).
Solution: A simple sign out and sign in from the XDA App.
See you on the other side!

I appreciate ur info buddy. But i think this should be posted in general thread as a general information. Plz take care of it from next time dude
-double post-
Yeah... Srry about that. Actually I had intended it for the old dev section so people could find this forum, from that old section. Anyways, a mod moved it over!

[Q] Gratuitous posting thread?

Is there a thread where n00bs like myself can post gratuitously until we get past the 10 post limit, so we can contribute to ""Development" threads?
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
yes... questions and answers
Yeah, I feel dumb commenting on existing threads just for the sake of it so I can up my "posts" count.
I'll just use this one, only one more to go....
...until I hit that magic number! Of course now that I'm there I'll probably get banned!
One more for luck.
+ 1, on thieving lol

There are a lot of questions in the General forum

Just making an observation. There is a dedicated Q&A forum and those question threads never get moved.

Not true.
Half of the time I post something not a question, it gets moved there.
Yes Xda has defines the category where to put the questions according to the category of questions or you can ask Xda by sending them an email.

Corrected. But it's true. It's mostly composed of which phone to buy threads.

I agree with you halfway. Certain mods have trouble distinguishing between an actual question and a statement meant to spark conversation of debate. Too many posts get moved to the Q&A section that don't have a definitive answer. Just because a post has a question mark in it does not mean it belongs in Q&A. Posts about phones get moved to Off-Topic when the description of Off-Topic says "anything not about the phones". It is a broken system.

A lot of mod move good threads for no reason and keep pointless ones that could be answered in one reply.

+1. I've posted a lot of good discussion worthy topics that relate to ALL phones that just get moved to android general.

.
Thanks you noticed, it seems new members do not care about reading the rules and posting in the right section.
For us, just a bunch of Mods, compared with the more than 4 million members is almost impossible to do our work without members help.
Hope this thread helps members to make a bit of conscience before posting.
Thanks,

Let's keep the discussion to the duplicate in Q&A guys. Thanks.
Close due to being a duplicate of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2222972
Please keep question to the Q&A section and only open one thread about a topic.
Thank you
