Need some help...
tried to integrate system updates into the rom via Ti, and now when it boots up, GoLauncher just force closes over and over and over.....
is there a way to clear the default launcher or remove go launcher via adb or something?
thanks.
I had this problem when I tried to install a new modem. I ended up having to
reflash the rom. I would restart in hopes of it fixing itself but more things just started force closing.

Hi I had that same issue with one of the colored themes I think it was green could not get the phone to reboot into clockwork mod either. Solution was plugging the charger in and turning phone on after thee battery charging symbol came on and it rebooted into recovery automatically were I had to restore to a ealier image backup I had that was the only way I could get past the fc's.

Is there a permanent solution to fixing the SMS timestamp problem?
I'm currently using Firefly2.7 with Onyx2.0.2 and the SMS Time Fix app, but everytime I reboot my phone, I have to enable the timestamp fix.
flash the smstimefix from the firefly fix app on your phone.
I did, but it still resets everytime I reboot my phone.
Here you go:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20958367/Mms_timestampfix-cwm.zip
Flash this with clockwork
That's the same one I flashed and it still doesn't work after I reboot my phone.
Are you using an app as well?
what exactly are you enabling?
When that cwm for firefly came out, I uninstalled SMS Time Fix and flashed the fix. A while later the timestamps were off again after a reboot, so I flashed it again. Then one day the timestamps messed up even without rebooting, so I installed the app again but I have to enable it every time I reboot my phone because it's always off.
Everytime you update firefly you have to reapply the CWM file.
If you have installed sms time fix from the market: You will have to uninstall it first, boot to recovery, flash the SMS timefix, then boot the phone back up.
hm, doesn't work when the app is installed just not enabled?
Nope. you have to completely uninstall it. I just tried it myself to make sure.
That could be my problem then. thanks!
So I don't think this worked, or at least something messed it up again.
I was playing with my phone last night (Switched to EXT with the Onix 2.0.2 Kernel and had to root my phone again with it, which conveniently enough can be done in recovery mode with Onix) and this morning my timestamps are messed up again..
Are you using an sms app? Other than the fixed one?
Just as a trial download Handcent and see if it works correctly
No I uninstalled it before flashing the ff fix.
Ill give handcent a shot and see if it works.

This fix ONLY works for Firefly
I just unlocked the bootloader and rooted my Nexus S. I flashed Cyanogen 7 and it worked fine. I later flashed to Blandroid and then my market was not working properly. I tried to reflash the gapps but it didn't work. I tried flashing to stock, it didn't work. I tried wiping everything, clearing caches, etc, nothing is working.
When I try to download an app it says, "download was unsuccessful, please try again." HOWEVER, if I go to the Android Market website, I can install apps to my phone fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?
same problem here, solution would be great. I can't download anything from the market.
install this app and then start it hit the menu button and select Use WiFi or Download using Mobile network-depend what u want to use.
It should help u
Wouldn't install

Go to manage applications > market > uninstall updates. That should fix it.

That was the first thing I tried and it didn't work. I ended up using the back to stock program. Now I have the agonizing pain of redoing my entire phone.

did you install a second launcher (like launcher pro) and delete tw3 before installing 4.5?
I did those to steps and I have had little issue with tw4.5.
The only issue so far was yesterday, I tried dropping some apps from the app drawer onto the home screen. Each time I did this my phone did a soft reboot, after pulling battery and rebooting several times it was still an issue. So I cleared defaults for tw and ran launcher pro and everything was fine, I switched back to tw and the issue was resolved. Not sure what caused it, but clearing data/defaults seemed to do the trick.
Infused with gingerbread **** thanks GTG465X

what rom/kernel? there seems to be an incompatibility with entropy's kernel on gb for me. if you have root explorer installed you can navigate to the /system/app directory and remove it but only if you have another launcher installed. if you cant launch apps (mine showed the app drawer as blank) you can use the search key to find apps.
What I did is flash tw4.zip through CWM. Then download TW4 manager then update the latest stable version. Everything worked after that. Widgets and all

Ack. What about the factory reset? The downside is losing your contacts if you haven't synced them, memos, IMs, call logs, etc.
Can you do a factory reset on a routed phone? Last time I did that on another phone I had to start ask over

You can do it, yes, but you will pretty much have to start all over.
Barring that, can you be more specific on what you uninstalled, what was FCing, etc?
thanks for your help bud I just pushed the system app folder to my phone and now its back
