Sorry for all the new threads I'm starting, but as a new inspire user I have many, many questions. My question here is what Rom should I run? I'm looking for stock feel, but with extra features and fast performance.,decent battery life, sense, great support, popularity, and most of all, stable. I can't decide between Android revelution and rcmix or whatever. I kinna want to overclock but its not a deal braker. Also I'm looking for something with a better radio. My signal is crappy rite now and ive tried a few different radios without prevail lol. Please, any opinions are appriciated

Ya the raisins will depend on location. I'm not a fan though.
RCMixHD is a great choice. I also like Honeysense for the theming and Coredroid for the battery life and buttery smoothness.
Check out leedroid its been trouble free for me

Best, don't know. But, the other day, on a medium use day, I still had 26% battery left after 22 hours.
*** disregard this post I didn't realize you were only considering sense based roms. ***
With my very heavy usage and not the best signal in my basement I have had the best luck with gingerbeast. Never had 22 hours... when the screen is on for an average of 3 hours a day I don't think ill ever see that.
Granted I've only tried three roms, miui leedroid and now gingerbeast.

Sorry, didn't see you were on your phone (it's in my sig on the full board).
CoreDroid 6.7 with mdj's v22 kernel overclocked to around 1200 mhz. I'm running the at&t 06.06.30 radio with matching ril. Turn sense syncing off.

Thread so maybe other users can maybe benefit from it. I appriciated it bro. And I know I'm really coming off as a huge newb, but I'm not. Im an ex flashaholic who states up days on end flashing roms and really don't wanna go through the whole setup proccess 5 million times until I find a good one,i know it differed due to everything being based on opinions but if someone provides a setup (Rom+kernal+radio) for me,then maybe it will help me narrow it down. I don't have a problem browsing the thread, but I'm the type to have 50 gazillion questions behind my main question so a "quick search" usually consists of tons of searches which lead to confusion most of the time lol. But thank you guys for understanding and helping a new inspire user out. I just wanted to make it clear that I'm not some newb with no knowledge looking for all the answers without looking my self. Once o get used to the inspire, and the threads,I'm sure ill help some newbs out along the way. Thanks for the kindness guys. It's rare in the forum world these days Haha

here is the radio and ril
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1106324
Rom: CoreDroid v6.7
Kernel: MDJ's v22
I think that CD 6.7 has MDJ's kernel by default, but don't hold me to it. I saw in the changelog that v6.8 (due out today) has the latest Lee Kernel. I used GTG's RIL flasher in Rom Manager to flash the RIL after installing the radio, but there's instructions at the link burton provided.
I have been using LeeDriod for awhile now jumping back and forth to other roms but I for some stupid reason like sense and the 3.0 lockscreen. from what I have been seeing in others change logs is that they are using the leedriod kernel of and on so he must be doing something right, as for Radios I stopped flashing the after the latest release of the stock AT&T radio, I really never noticed any difference with anyone's radio
I'm new to the inspire and I was wondering which rom and kernel set up would give the longest battery life I came from the atrix and battery was great cause the battery was huge lol but every rom i've tried has been giving me 9 hours at the most with moderate usage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

Any. Just choose. If you don't like that one, try another. You can also flash roms from the desire HD thread too. But you will need to flash a sound fix

No one is gonna be able to tell you what works best for your device. Flash some roms and test them out. Each device and set up is different. A search would have told you this.

flashed yesterday. did a calibration as well. battery life is awful. Any advice? Thanks
Let it sit for a couple hours extra after the calibration maybe. I always have great battery life on miui, just like on cm7 roms

You'd probably get more responses if you asked this on the ROMs thread.
But try a new kernel, if that doesn't work then maybe a different ROM.

Best battery life would come from one of the debloated stock roms most likely...but it also keep in mind not every phone reacts the same way as others do to a Rom...one person may get amazing life on one...while another gets terrible life on that same exact one...

So far my personal opinion would be more towards the RemICS Rom. Its pretty friggin sweet all around!

I've been running legend rom for the past 2 weeks, been great.
before that I was running the unofficial cm9, that was awesome-only problem was no bluetooth.
that's what I was on before this. I am actually thinking of switching to something that has Bluetooth for the time being until they get a patch on RemICS. Its the only downfall!

Although development had stopped, Zeus had the best battery life for me.
erytherm cisa).
Zues was pretty good, except I had SOD issues several times a day, wiped, reinstalled, re-downloaded, went back to stock, rooted again, reinstalled, nothing seemed to fix the issue
For me most of the bigger gb roms all had good battery life. (legend, aeon, zues, emacipation).
One of the best roms ive used as far as battery was actually dman's catyrom. With pretty heavy usage.
But ive found out that using better battery stats to track down battery hogs is a must for any rom.

Hi, All with my brand new, rooted, unlocked bootloader, and new kernel, HTC ONE S CS (S3) I've noticed poor battery performance.
So is there any app that could help? Of course they are many, but actually is one of them work good on HTC ONE S? Thanks.
There isn't really an app that can save you battery. It depends on what ROM your on. You should around and see which works best

I'm using battery guru. Just started using it so I'm not really sure how well its working. I have found that the kernel can really affect battery life, try flashing to another kernel and give it a couple of days to see if its better.

Kernel is the main contributor to battery life as it is mainly what controls everything behind behind the scenes
