Troy's Blue Slate Theme for SkyRaider 4.0
This is a theme that is based off of CLeDInc's Slate Matte Green Theme that I changed around from files I got from ACD168, and eugene.an's slate theme for the desire and a lot of files from jabbawalkee's matted blues theme for the Evo. There might be one more person I'll check and see and edit if there is If anybody has any problems with me using there stuff please let me know or if I did something wrong and I'll take it down and work it out.

*The Music app in this theme is from the nothing special rom that I themed, it can not be controlled under notifications
*I'm in school right now and have finals coming up so while there is stuff that I know needs to be further themed or what else people may mention, it will not be undated super fast
*One more thing I'm still very very new at this so if there is something I missed let me know. Also I know it still says thanks for installing CLeDInc's Slate Matte Green Theme

Dude the slate theme was my favorite from the HTC hub. Only suggestion I have is change the pulldown Droid to blue instead of green to match the rest of the theme. Looking good thanks for your hard work

3.0.27 Android Market
Special thanks to badseed themer silverxbv2 for porting my theme to 3.0.27!
Google got this update right. Im only putting out one version. the colors that represent the music, games and books section im leaving. my goal was to remove the android color that looks like overcooked broccoli that for some reason they find appealing.
I did add blue and cyan to the app.
To install
i tested this on my dinc running cm7. it installed no problem. i even tried to install it with no market present and it installed fine. i did not have to alter the manifest in this version.
for those who have been silently updated!
this is the method i used to get the market running on cm7.1
1) go to settings/applications and navigate to the market. select uninstall updates.
2) uninstall the market with titanium backup
3) go to data/data. if you have a com.android.vending delete it.
4) if you have com.android.vending updater delete it.
5) go into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache.
6) flash the stock 3.0.27 market and open it. ( it will be posted on 7/21/2001 in the evening)
7) flash the themed market

Instructions
The 2.3.6 markets appear to be much easier to install. the manifest is slightly altered but as of yet has posed few problems. just flash the market in recovery. make sure you do not have a market operating out of data/app as this will not override that.
EDIT
ive decided to post the stock market i used as a base. flash this stock market, then the themed market, remember you cannot have a market in data/app. please do not post questions or problems if you have not checked this out ahead of time.

Stock 3.0.27 market & 3.0.27 android transparent market
My Rom Cm7 J022
Ok first of all i have tried flashing the 2 roms now and they do not work, i have deleted my market and updater and checked in system apps just in case. The only way to get your market to work was to extract it and use root explorer to locate it in system/apps and set permissions then it loaded and worked ok. i then flashed 2 of the transparent markets but they do not show, i lastly extracted one of the transparent markets used root explorer again to overwrite the the stock, rebooted and nothing.
If i can remember correctly i am sure the stock one you are giving has to be a older version of the transparent one we are trying to flash or it not update, i do not have a older market to try but if i find one i will try and let you know later.

The new market looks cool (like a windows phone wanna be) but it is kinda slow, not downloading but showing the apps consumes about half more time than the old one?
I know bro i have been using it for the last week, it does look good for sure i just find the back key slow using it but it's worth it just for it's looks.
Has anybody used these transparent versions successfully yet??

yes i installed it and it works.. but the new market keep on FC even without transparent. so i need to reinstall the newest market again then install this transparent..

ive got problem now on installing the newest market.. i tried both and i saw the transparent market but before i install the transparent market my v3 market always got fc

hey buddy! when im using achotjans v6 rom the transparent apps works but before installing that the v3 of market keeps on FC.. now using wolfs 8.1 the market works no FC but there is no transparent even id install it 3 times..

Hey buddy i am sorry, i have had the google redirect virus on my pc and its took me all day to get rid of it, it's been a nightmare lol.
I wonder then if you need a certain framework in a rom for it to work, i know from the pat experience that when these transparent markets first came out at the beginning of the year we had simular troubles then.

I have been searching and even trying to develop my own theme for the new UI on Kik messenger (version 6.5.1.48), but I'm not sure what files to edit. I would like help on figuring out what files to edit, or if someone was willing to develop one for everyone to use? I'm looking for a dark theme for Kik, similar to the dark theme for the stock SMS/MMS app on some roms. Can anyone help?
