Hello and sorry for the inconvenience. I'm new to rooting and updating my evo. I have 2.2 android version since i rooted my evo and i rooted it with unrevoked 3. Now i keep getting updates from my phone but cant install them because im rooted. I was wondering how can i update my evo to the latest android version which is 2. something and how can i also update the latest fota version that's 3.70.
I don't know if i need to install a new ROM or get the update online. Your help would be grateful and thanks in advance.
I pulled this from HTC Sprint Hero MR 2.27.651.6.exe. I believe that you just need to rename it to HERCIMG.zip and then boot into HBOOT via VOL-DN and PWR.
android.turnertechrepair.info/rom.zip
I may be wrong on the numbers. but the RUU Ver I stated was right. I'm a noob in this area. But I flashed that to my phone and those are the numbers I saw.
can you extract the stock recovery for me and zip it in a HERCIMG.zip and post it? I would be very appreciative
is this a new update thats coming soon?

This was the update that came with the Sprint Zone application. This is what I had installed prior to rooting back in December 2010.
OK, I appreciate all of the feed back. This is a file I pulled from the most recent ruu on the sprint site. It is definitely 2.1. I will get the correct numbers for you all tomorrow. I used a similar file to put my hero to stock as I run linux and couldn't RUU. This one is a little more recent than the one that was previously posted on this forum.
I just got an ATT Samsung Mega 6.3 running 4.2.2 out of the box. It is also running Maps ver. 7.02.
I HATE THE NEW MAPS!
I know there WAS a way to revert to the old maps/nav program. How is it done now, without root? Is it possible?
Thanks in advance, your help is much appreciated!
I'm on the American Wifi only 10.1. I'm unlocked, rooted, and have since lost the backup of stock. I'm on Android Revolution HD 11.2, but would love to get updated to most recent software, even if it meant being stock. Seems like none of the links work for any of the ODIN files... Can anyone PM me or help me out please.. or give me some alternate pathways to some of the newer ROMS.
I was wondering if anyone has the link or a zipped version installer for Verizon Software Update Assistant that works with the Galaxy S6.
I never installed it myself and then installed a rom that has the CD installer removed. I am in need of the software now so I was wondering if someone has the link to it. It's not on VZW website from what I looked. I found an older version of the software but it did not work with the S6.
