Need your MSL code? - EVO 4G Android Development

Hey guys,
I work as a tech in a sprint store. Because of how much I love XDA and all of you I have decided to give back a little. If anybody needs a fast easy way to get their MSL code to tweak their EVO or any sprint phone for that matter I can easily get it if you need me two. The only thing I ask is that every time I access an account it is possible that it will generate a survey call\survey text. All I ask is that you pick that call up (form an 866#) and answer the first part of the survey (4 questions) in this fashion.
1. Did you visit a store? Yes
2. Why did you visit the sprint store? service and repair (option 3)
3. Are you very dissatisfied, dissatisfied, neither dissatisfied or satisfied, satisfied, or very satisfied with the service you got during your visit? PLEASE PICK VERY SATISFIED!!!
4. Did the sprint rep perform any READY NOW services? PICK YES
If you PM me with the last name on the account and phone number or account number and phone number I can get to you quickly as long as I am working (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat 9-6 est)
EDIT: Sorry all I have not been around for a little bit. But I have unfortunately left the Sprint Retailer in which I worked. I was given the option be laid off or take a massive pay cut (1/4 of my pay a month). I took the first option. I am truly sorry if I cause any false hope or was unable to help because of this.
Thanks for the understanding,
Your friend

I know but some might need or want their code without rooting. Or some might now have an evo 3d that has no root yet. Just trying to help all that have helped me in the past. If any body ever needs anything PM me and I can try to help.

well then it would go in the EVO 3D forum of XDA.....

Bounty, that is shameless but I love it!! Don't you have access to eticket? Just use that and all you need is the ESN. They don't flag us for using that (AS), and it works good, without having to access an account at all. But the survey thing, pure fkn genius. You should try and put this in the general sections of all the newer phones, everyone else wants to charge and you are the man.

oh ya I have eticket but I still need 2 pieces of info to pull it up in eticket. esn, hex, ptn, account number, or open eticket number which still enters the account and will generate a survey.
But ya I still get good survey calls
lol

It is kind of funny the way it happened, but I assure you I am unlocked. I recorded the video at work but there was a lot of background discussions going on(unrelated to what I was doing )and I've got to edit the audio out. I am swyping with a rogers sim at my poker game right now.
There is no magic solution that I know of. I ended up getting the code from att. I'll tell you guys how tomorrow, but they issued the code to me
Oooooh! You can get a code from AT&T? Wow...I bet nobody knew that. Please hurry up with the video, because I can't wait to find out how you got them to give you a magic code. What did you have to give them? The cow you were supposed to take to the market?
Sorry for being so snippety, but I don't think that anyone gives a rat's ass about an unlock code. We all know what those are and how they work and how to get them. What we need is software to unlock the phone universally. I think that one of the best methods for the initial unlock will be with the xml settings that were found that seem to set the provider during the build process. That is unless someone else has figured out something that I haven't heard of yet.
Sorry, but I give a rat's ass about unlock codes, if they exist and are obtainable, it's the best way to unlock, period, especially if they come from AT&T and are free.
And I can tell you for a cast-iron fact that .xml files are not the key to unlocking a modern phone. These puppies are locked at the hardware level, deep down in the same encrypted chip where the IMEI is stored, and not something you can spoof with a text editor.
There will be no "software" unlock of this device, ever. Either we get codes from AT&T/Samsung, we get codes from the gray market, or somebody comes up with a cable method to (wait for it) brute force the code on a particular phone. See where I'm going here? It's all about getting that code.
Those .xml files you speak of are nothing more than standard carrier codes, so that the phone knows and can report what network it's on, and has nothing at all to do with what SIM card is installed.
That said...Giz, we want that social engineering information ASAP. The poker game can wait.

Whoever wants the to know how I did it can PM me. That knuckle head above is the reason I'm not going to post who I spoke to and what i said publcially.
What difference does it make if you get a software code generator, or the DB of IMEI/Simlock codes, unless you're a profiteer.
Sorry, I did it so that I could get my phone unlocked, so that i could use this phone with my Rogers SIM, not so that I could make money, and not so that i could screw ATT.
Like I said, whoever wants the process, just PM me.

I can send a lot of screenshot from my unlocked phone. Why I'm so ungry for $15. I lost totaly $500 for this phone. So $15 is not important for me. I can paid another $15 for permanent unlock my phone.
If you are theandroiddoctor person, you should explain the all process. Why technician close the session after unlock process without my test result. Nobody answer me, nobody answer my support request.
All time they use bad words and their behaviour is not fair.

Because they aren't a true professional shop, they are someone that does this from their home. They don't care about whether your phone works, they only care about getting paid and they didn't do the right thing because they didn't want to pay for messing your device up because they don't have a true business like a true professional would.
That's what you get for trying to save money to get it done and trusting someone that you found on the internet instead of taking your device to a trusted and reputable professional shop, you get what you pay for, it's your own fault for being stupid enough to trust someone you found online.
You made a bad decision and now you're paying the price, get over it, move on and learn a lesson from it. Posting here isn't changing anything.

Regarding the Note 5, the phone can be restored to factory conditions by downloading Samsung Kies. Once downloaded fire up the software, select "tools" followed by "firmware upgrade and initialisation". Then connect your phone and the software will download all the necessary files, including the latest updates. I know this because they screwed my phone's IMEI during a unlock process, probably hoping they would squeeze more money out of me for a IMEI repair. Kies solved my IMEI problem, and their unlock wasn't affected by the Kies update (their unlock worked). These are unsavoury people who had access to my computer and phone while they carried out their half a job. Hindsight is a wonderful thing....

I asked about the process to unlock a galaxy s7 and the online chat support rep sent me a Google pay link. I asked him whether they'd support Paypal and he responded with a barrage of expletives, also threatening to install active x and hack my browser. NEVER EVER USE THIS SITE FOR ANYTHING.

Infomation Frp Bypass, Google Pixel 32gb 7.1.2 through remote service...

Hello,
I recently received a second hand Google Pixel. It was running selfish N2G470 Sailfish 7.1.2. Upon further inspection I realized it was also OEM from Google. Once I purchased a Type-C charger to see if the phone even worked, I quickly realized it had the FRP locking activated and no way into the phone.. After days of Dead End video's, Out Dated Guides, and pointless APK files, I continued searching for a solution. A few days later, while shopping on EBay, I ran across a remote FRP service that said they would remote in using Team Viewer and have it completed within 1 hour after making initial contact with me after the purchase. I was skeptal. But the money was protected through PayPal and it was only $10.00. Soon after, I am contacted, remotely assisted, and step by step guide on the pixel itself and 15 min later, through the FRP Lock. I should have taken better instructions when he was telling me over video chat but, he left the version of platform tools on my pc, as well as his custom apk files and image's (it updated to 8.0 after frp bybass) Anyone interested in the files he left behind on my computer that he download from his server let me know. He used fastboot and adb. Let me know. If you know what your doing, it might help. I can kinda help guide you through the steps on the phone, my girl took a few notes on paper as well. I wanted to get this info out now, but I will come back soon with an updated tutorial. :good:

Where does one receive a second hand Pixel? If it was a hand-me-down couldn't you just ask the user to log in and remove their account from the device? Even if you bought it from a stranger they could have given you their Google password and then immediately changed it after you removed the account yourself. And just for curiosity, how much does a second hand Pixel cost?
it would probably help some people, yes.
If you post them, perhaps try posting them to a few different file sharing places; ie MEGA, rapidshare, etc so they can be shared for a while without being taken down.
Thanks for helping the community.
hey man, im in the same kind of situation and not sure what to do, was gonna use one these guys if i didnt get something sorted soon.
im on pixel 32gb, sailfish 7.1.2 with 5th august 2017 patch, im unable to side load or get past anything with the guides on here or online, either due to bad apks or just wrong instructions, keep hitting brick walls and the guides and videos are little to no help, if u would please share these files, it would be great help , if u cant post a link, could u pm me plz ? thanks a ton!!!

Well, the phone was givin to me by an old boss that could no longer afford to pay my hourly, under the table wage. I'm not sure where he received it from. Second hand cost? Well he owed me 75 bucks for a few hours of unloading & loading box trucks, so $75 bucks I guess...

Doesn't matter if you sold the phone. Anything under the table is implied as is. No amount of money is worth your own person security. You should never under any circumstance tell anyone any of your passwords ever for any reason whatsoever
Edit: the right thing to do of course would be to remove accounts before frp or to be on-site when they set up their phone but not everyone even knows about frp and even less of the general public will know how to actually remove accounts

Under the table? What exactly does that mean? Illegal? You either delete your emails and change your pwd or pay the price. Let's not get crazy here. It's just an email password for perhaps 2 minutes to make some money that is "under the table". If you can't stand the heat then get out of the kitchen.
Under any circumstances, ever, whatsoever? Come on.. call me paranoid. Figure out how to do it safely. I'm sure we have the mental capacity to do something like that. Or refund the money.. simple.

No I'm not saying illegal I'm saying any direct transaction from one person to another like anything not done through an actual retailer. And no you really shouldn't be giving out passwords at all for any reason. Having that information for 2 minutes can create a window for someone to figure out your typical password structure or cross reference a fair bit of information that could lead to access to a lot more than what was intended. Again I'm not saying that not properly wiping the device so someone else can use it is okay, but I am saying it is not the responsibility of the seller to give you any passwords or personally identifiable information. It is also the responsibility of the buyer to know and ask about potential frp situations or at least understand the implied "as is" condition when buying really anything directly off of someone else.
You make a good point. Although I still think the seller has the responsibility to sell the device so it can be used by the buyer. That seems to be implied by selling it. Almost like I'm selling you my car but.. well sorry dude .. you can't have the keys. Not my problem but yours since the car is in your driveway.
Well selling a car is kinda different and has actual legal restrictions to prevent that such as title transfers etc

Death of a loved one. S8+ unlock

Hi,
We lost a family member to suicide recently. We have had a lot of questions and we feel there are lots of critical answers in the phone. The phone is locked via finger print and passcode. Is there any way to unlock this phone? The family is looking for some closure.
Thanks.

I am sorry for your loss.
In case like this I recommend google or searching XDA really well... grey topic
There are many guide on bypassing these already
I find a lot of software to do this, the problem is i am not sure which one is legit.
You can try to unlock it using the google account used with the phone! Or you can try to contact samsung via email or to go with the phone over a samsung Service Center and i think that they will help you with the problem! Hope that it helps you!
Actually Google has a program where if a loved one is passed, you can send them death cert. and they will give you access to their account.

Know what, you could take a copy of the death certificate to the phone company and explain the situation. I'd bet they have a manner to get into the phone, rather easily.

I do not want to get yelled for no reason so there is no way I will ask him anything else.
So is there anyone willing to take sme time to have a conversation with me about a samsung S6 phone?
No one is going to yell at you for no reason... if they do it's a lick on them.

Ok I was given a phone samsung from a lady that changed to a new company.
The phone she gave me has no sim card and has been resotred to start.
What th woman who gave it to me and I both do not know is if the phone is carries locked and how to gey it unlocked.
I have googled and it seems there are a lot of unlock code generators that charge a fee.
Can anyone tell me first is there a free one second if not one that is not some kind of a scam.
The phone says it is a Samsung SM-G920A.

Have the last owner sign in on the phone and delete their Google and Samsung accounts on it.
You can then do a factory reset and configure it as you please.
That's the easy way... any other way will be much harder.

Maybe I am not explaining this right.
The samsung phone has been reset so it is like it is a new phone.
It was a ATT carrier and I want to use it on a differant carrier so I need to unlock the carrier.
So I am looking for a way to unlock the carrie.
So what I am looking for is a
Unlock Code Generator.
Is there one that is used and not a scam?

The easiest way is to have AT&T unlock it.
If there's no outstanding balance on the account they should. Usually the account holder does this, not sure how this will work in your case.
AT&T can still/could have blacklist(ed) the phone's imei even if you use a 3rd party unlocker.
Probably best to work it out with AT&T. They are very intolerant of delinquent accounts though. If a balance was owed by the previous owner they will probably want it paid to unlock it. They just want their money. If no money is owed you should be alright.
As much as I know... I may be mistaken. Never had to play with this.
