these Ads are really persistent. I've tried Rom Toolbox, AdFree For Android, and also tried downloading hosts file and putting it into /etc folder. but still, these Ads are coming back.
I think it's issue with ICS. I noticed this problem since I tried CM9 Alpha build on my Atrix. Is there any other way to block those Ads?

Lucky Patcher is off the market now. you can still download from other websites.

AdAway is also worth a look. i noticed some ads not blocked by adfree can be blocked by this app, which is also available in google play.
is any app which block ad without root?
yes check the app store, they just only work in the web browser I believe

Since flashing to 4.4.3 I've lost the advanced power menu and simply reboot into recovery. Did I miss something?

Bump. As a temp fix, I installed GooManager since it has an option to trigger a reboot to recovery.
