Hi,
I got my Transformer a few days ago and just finished copying a few thousand pdf files to my microSD card. MyLibrary shows them all just fine in the library view, but if I try to open any of the pdf's the screen just goes black and the back button stops working. To get back I need to press Home and force kill the app myself. Other apps open the pdf files just fine. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thanks!

I have the same issue since going to Prime 1.4
Just don't use MyLibrary its not that great anyway.

While there are better readers, i would like to know why it doesn't work and like the option of using everything that is built in.
Okay. Thanks for the replies. Good to know it is indeed the Prime 1.4 rom I installed. I already suspected as much. I've installed Aldiko and ezpdf now, but like the previous poster I'd like to know why MyLibrary is not working as it should and/or when this is going to be fixed.

Uhh *bangs head against wall* if you insist on using the supplied apps, be they any good or not, open your PDFs in polaris office, it's a lot better but there's plenty of alternatives in the market...700+ for PDF, 31 for ereader
I've yet to root or change roms so while it works, it is by far the worst PDF viewer I've seen

I have just run into my first big problem with my Transformer. I shot some video on it of my babies and edited it using the movie studio. While not the greatest camera/editing software it worked in a pinch when my babies were doing some really cute stuff. Anyway after editing the video and exporting it I tried to upload it to YouTube, both by selecting it in the included file manager and selecting "Share" then selecting YouTube, and also by going to the YouTube application itself, going to My Uploads and pressing the "Upload" button which lets me select the video in the file manager. Either way I get a prompt to enter in the title and description of my video. Once I do this and press the upload button I immediately get a force close on the "My Uploads" process.
I tried to do a clear data of the MyUploads process but that didn't clear up the problem.
I was wondering if anyone else could try to upload something to YouTube on their Transformer and report if they also have the problem.
FWIW I am on the latest Stock Honeycomb 3.2 ROM.

Uploading to YouTube has never worked for me. Even when I was still stock on 3.1.
To give a little more data, I just tried uploading a picture to Picasa and it worked fine (Picasa also uses the uploader). It's just Youtube that is failing.

Yeah everything upload fine except for YT. I've read others with similar problems but I've never seen a solution.

Unfortuneately, the YouTube upload bug seems to be a problem regarding honeycomb as most of the tab 10.1 and xoom seem to be having similar problems..
yep , i''ve just noticed this problem. pretty poor that you can't upload to one of google's flagship apps.

Does anyone know of a PDF reader that supports displaying two pages at the same time in landscape mode (like a book or magazine). I would have thought that this was basic functionality, but I cannot find a single app to do it....
I'm REALLY looking for GoodReader for Android (an IOS app - hopefully they port to Android soon)!

Never seen dual page layouts for pdf readers on Android. I know a lot of ebook readers and comic readers are capable of it, but none so far for pdf files.
Does really no one have an answer to this?
I know about the solution perfect viewer plus the pdf addon, but there are often crashes and its slow.
Can't say that I have one, although I can't say I have ever found a great PDF reader fir Android either.

Mantano reader is one of the most complete readers, suited more for honeycomb than for other versions. Repligo is probably the fastest.
If I want to read a PDF with two pages at one time, I simply convert it to epub and read it with MyLibrary. Works like a charm!

how does that work with magazine pdfs which have pictures spread over 2 pages??
try ezpdf reader. best i've used so far, and does 2 pages in landscape (IIRC)

I wish EZPDF Reader did 2 pages at once in landscape, but I don't belive it does (I've never found a way)....

Man, I need to get back into programming... I've found quite a few "missing" apps like that for Android... Something that seems so basic (displaying 2 pages at once) - and there is not a single app to do it for Andoid! What an opportunity!
Having some issues with the Music app. I am running Prime 1.9.something-or-other and I have been adding music to an SD Card then plugging it back into the tablet. Sometimes when I open Music, it just flickers like it is trying to refresh and having a panic attack in doing so. I have read other threads here where the user had to go into Application Settings and clear the cache/data for Music, which seems to work, but it bothers me that I have to do this regularly instead of just working like on my phone. Is there something I can do to permanently fix this behavior or is there a recommended free music player that may be similar to the stock player? I don't need any special features, just something that looks okay and has good logical sorting of music, preferably that cooperates well with the taskbar.
I tried Double Twist yesterday and its okay, but would rather just get the stock player working correctly.

No expert here but I feel that it has to do with the app itself (it is a beta version after all). I had this issue on tablet and phone. On my phone I reverted to the previous version of the google music app that did not include access to the Google cloud and haven't had the problem again.

On stock ROM and B50 TF here.
I had installed the Beta application to give access to the streaming from cloud feature, and I had experienced the flickering, so I reverted back. Worked for a while, but a month or so on, and the flickering is back.

Could you provide the apk for the app?
My 16gb sd got fried and that happened my phone recognizes it but tf101 don't anymore

Sorry mate, it was already installed on my phone from the factory (so basically I had two google music apps after I downloaded music beta). But I think the APK version is 2.3.3. A search should bring up a site for download easily.

Same problem here. Clearing the cache fixed the problem for a while, but it came back quite soon.
I think it's to do with playlists that have invalid references in them. I looked at the logcat to determine this. I have removed my playlists, and it doesn't seem to have come back (so far).
Let me know if this works for you.

After I deleted my playlist, album listing was fine, but under artists, the app kept scrolling back to the top of the list on its own. What doesn't it want me to see?! Buggy!
Should have also said after removing playlists, also clear the cache in app settings, it will then scan everything and should eventually settle down.
Does anyone know of a PDF app that allows you to view 2 pages at once (like an open book). THis was such a nice feature in GoodReader (iOS), but I haven't found an Android app to do that yet (and I've tried alot)! Does anyone know of one??

Haven't tried pdf but epub files are displayed like that in MyLibrary that comes with your Transformer.
Yeah, did try that - it too only displays one page at a time in landscape mode... Landscape more is perfect for vieiwing two pages at a time, but it doesn't look like there are any apps that do it on Android yet... Hopefully, it'll be added to some app in the future...

Having a problem with the stock library app. It will open for a second and then force close. It DOES stay running in the app-switcher list but when i choose it, it closes out to the home screen. I have a lot of PDF files i read and its handier than a file manager for that. Anyone having the same problem or know of a good replacement app??? Thanks in advance.......RL

For PDFs you can't beat perfect viewer with the PDF add on. Second is repligo.

I'm also using that, it's great.
To diagnose a "force close", you need to post a logcat excerpt.
