This is in a horrible location.
That's all.
No other complaints. No dust under screen yet, no dead pixels, no death grip.
I've had phones with the jacks in every damn spot on the phone. I always hate them at first because the prior phone had it in a different place and I had gotten used to it. My last couple phones were G2 and MT4G and they had the same spot as the S4G, so I love the location. You'll probably adjust to it and start to like it.

Yeah, you're probably right... I'm just glad I don't seem to have some of the other issues people are having.
Still can't wait for root though so I can use my apps that require root!

i prefer it on the side rather than down. but the reason why it is on the side
well first of all you have a qHD 16:9 wide screen. what is it good for? WATCHING Videos/Movies and surfing the web
so because of this when the Sensation sits on the docking station, it is sideways so you can browse the net, watch a movie while it is syncing/charging, plus its more stable than a phone upright
I used to hate it when I first got it but now I love it more than any other location. It completely makes sense once you start gaming. When the USB port is located at the bottom, I always have to change my grip when in landscape view if I want to use it while charging.
I don't have a docking station so for me I can't prop the phone up to watch a movie. Some apps won't rotate the screen the other way.
lmfao, I hate looking for that jack when it's all dark and I cant use the phone as a flashlight.

This is the small things that shows, HTC do study and think before they design. Like moving the power button to the right (better for landscape mode). I'm used to on the left with my desire.
I'd prefer charging slot on the bottom. As a matter of fact, I'd prefer headphone jack on the bottom as well. I hate having 1 cable sticking out from the side and one from the top when in the the car. I would also kill for optical trackpad but that's another story.

I agree with you completely regarding the car issue... And a dedicated camera button and optical tracked are the only things that would make this hardware perfect imo.

very similar to whats included with the tilt..its a non standard htc usb plug with an extended adapter on it which has on one side what looks like a normal headphone jack and a mini headphone jack and on the end has the usb..ive included a pic of it..im assuming this is standard accessory equipment included with the ATT FUZE sooo i was looking on ebay for a video out cable and came upon this
http://cgi.ebay.com/TOUCH-PRO-TV-VI...0|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50
and ive included a pic
but it looks like you can plug it into what i thought were audio jacks and achieve video out? because i have these cables laying around (from video cameras and stuff) and i tried them just now and i dont get any results..any ideas on how this is being pulled off?
The one on eBay is a modified dongle. And the guy probably did it using the thread found in xda-dev! I will bet you that! LOL! But, if you had searched, you would have found this thread here.
derrrrrrr..yah sorry about not searching..just thought it was interesting and found a makeshift on on ppcgeeks really didnt think about searching lol

Well Pazookie, good for you getting your Fuze as a replacement. Didn't cost you a cent. Congrats and I hope you enjoy it. As for the Bold, I brought that the day it came out and took it back the following day. LOL The screen is awesome but I guess I'm just that WM kinda guy. I hated the BB format espically for email and text messages. Again, that's me and I sure it's that I'm so used to the WM platform. I know many people that would give their arm before lossing their BB. LOL
Have a GREAT holiday my Firend.
beachboyde/JON
thanks..merry christmas.//and about the fuze..i have never been more pleased with a device..it went above and beyond my expectations..i thought i was going to have to settle for less buttons and all that stuff but i have found the workarounds easier..i have found it to be more responsive and accurate as in screen taps and typing with the on screen SIP and pocketgba works again (on my tilt once wm6.1 came out that gba emulater stopped working). I LOVE this thing lol oh yah its built tuff too..i dropped it at work the other day (idiot coworker bear hugged me from behind thus flinging the fuze out of my hand). It hid concrete from about 4 feet and the back cover flew off and the battery popped off and only a smal scratch/paintsmudge on the bottom right corner (top half of device). Hope you have a great new year

Shows 1.2ghz Dual core Processor, with the dates 10/11/2011 or 11/10/2011 american date
Super amoled which we guessed etc 4.7" screen it says
I agree with you. Lets wait for HK tonight and confirm all this
one thing that i find strange is
Why are the 3 dot connectors on the same side as the power button? if u have it docked on the side how would u turn it on?
Seems abit silly which could indicate fake but its hard to call something real when its unreleased
But "what if" that is not a connector?
any theorys on what else 3 dots could do? 3 dots is pretty common for dock connectors
what if they are on both sides?
like ,for fingers, not to "slide" from hand ?

That doesn't make any sense at all. (No offense, just being brutally honest.)
The dock pin connectors belong on the other side but otherwise this is pretty much spot on.

but check again samsung video

they are on the power button side
The official teaser video showed the pins on the same side as the power button. The only thing I see that makes me doubt it is the lack of curvature on the screen.
i like it and think thats what its going to look like. we will see today and i work at a cell phone store and the nexus is in my cellbrite for like two weeks already and we get promo posters and cards and t shirts all the time before phones come out so why not and its china we all know the chinnese got the inside info on everything
why don't you take a few shots and post here to see those posters

The curve is probably pretty subtle like on the Nexus S. Those blue lines in the teaser really exaggerated the curves

Yeah, but I saw the enhanced photos from the video, and the curve on the actual device appears much more distinct than the Nexus. We'll see though I suppose.
It's real.

It's actually japanese.
is that chrome around the phone
if so yuck
still want though
What concerns me is the bottom bezel. It looks like there's a lot of black after the on-screen buttons on the bottom. Seems like a lot of wasted real-estate. In the leaked videos, it's even more apparent: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py9TfZGie48
I think the phone is too long... =T
This is a redesign of the HTC One i that I did earlier. I know everyone hates the camera position lol, but I'd already started it so I just finished it off. The next one be be more mainstream

Cool, even though it copied the curve shape from the Sony Xperia GX. At first glance I was like, WTF is with the camera position. But now it makes sense to me, since the camera is located in the hollow space it wont be scratched when the phone lies on its back.
Interesting design. but Im not a fan of the front. I think the front of the HTC One X or HTC evo 4g LTE looks better.

Thanks I actually didn't copy anything, I literally just made it up as I went along, although I did use my One X for sizing reference.
I tried to create a "one piece" look with the curved glass on the front, it's easier to see in the vid.
My only regret with this design is curving the sides of the phone, It's not really in-keeping with the design of the One series, but it's just a concept after-all.
Two things: One, I get that you love the camera position but it will cost far more sales than it gains, looking at it from a real perspective. Secondly, you don't need a new thread for every design. =p
I think the front facing camera should be to the left of the top speaker grill, and also the phone seems a bit generic.. I think it should have a key design or feature that sets it apart from other design concepts that are crappy. (not saying its bad, but its not too amazing either.) You should have something like the One V whete bottom half of the phone is curved towards the holder, but instead of having that curve be just metal and that's it, make the buttons below the screen be on that curved part with glass over them so it looks a bit cooler. So its basically the phone you have now bent towards the viewer more at the bottom.
I picked up a *new* used g2x about a week ago. The guy had hardly used it all. It is in brand new condition. It works great, but one thing that was driving me absolutely crazy was the crappy sound of any ringtone I played. Tons of distortion, awful sound, and low volume.
I decided to crack open the phone using the service guide to see if the speaker was damaged. It was super easy by the way.
As soon as I took the part out I could immediately see the problem. There was an extra screw inside that was stuck to the speaker! It must have been in there from the factory because every screw was in it's place, expect of course this one!
I removed the screw very carefully using some tweezers, because it was stuck to the magnet of the speaker, and put everything back together. Of course it made a HUGE difference! I can actually hear my phone ring and the god-awful distortion was gone!
I have seen some complaints around regarding the sound of this phone. It's maybe worth a quick check if your sound sucks! It's super easy to do and took me about 3 minutes total. This makes me wonder if it could have happened to someone else's phone.
Here's a pic of the little punk!

One of my speakers are a lot louder then the other one I don't want to open it up main reason don't wanna risk messing it up second I don't have a manual or anything that shows how. My sounds still fine but I think it can be a lot louder if that one puts out more sound. Any ideas other then opening it up?
EDIT: just decided to look this up now after about 15 seconds of Googling found there's only one speaker on the lg optimus 2x and g2x the left one is a mic xD

Yep it's just one speaker. Kinda funny though how there are so many arguments about that online! Especially when it's so easy to look at the actual thing.
It's super easy to take off though. All you need to do is turn the phone off, remove the battery, and then take out the three screws on that bottom piece on the phone. Then that piece just pops right out.
Sucks that there's only one speaker. -_- I also don't get why there isn't a 2nd mic for noise cancellation.

I love this mount... suction holds to dashboard or window like crazy... good build/quality... fits my Nexus 6P... true one-hand operation (in and out)...
But (there's always one... and I got two):
The major issue... the side grips sit on the volume button... and once in a while, they would silence my device w/o me noticing
The telescopic arm, when fully extended (which is why I bought it), makes the whole thing less stable (maybe with a lighter phone it will be less of an issue). This is not a huge deal, but an FYI.
Should you buy it? I still think it's a good option... and to avoid #1 above, you could place the device a bit higher in the cradle (so it doesn't touch the volume button). It works, but makes it a bit unstable.

I had the same problems as well. The new version seems to have fixed all the problems with the Nexus 6P and in general.
I got an email from them yesterday and they're currently having a 30% off sale on Amazon.
The promo code is UPGRADE3.

I don't see how it solves the problem. The side arms seems to be located in a place still "squeezing" the volume rocker.

The side arms on the newer version are lower on the phone now. You can adjust the bottom arm vertically to adjust the height.
This video shows that the 6P is compatible with the new Mount. I have no problems with the new version. The telescoping is about 1 inch shorter so if that's an important feature for you then the new version isn't for you.
I've posted it before several times, the One Touch 2 is easy to use if you just tilt it a little bit with your phone tilted the opposite way your buttons won't be squished. Even better, I got the one touch 3 last week and it completely avoids the buttons whatsoever. Really the best holder that they've made yet but the old arm from the two series was better and longer.
I have one of their other ones and it clips on the side but with my Supcase, it doesn't affect it.
I like their holder. Very strong and I've had it on for over a year (dirty suction cup) without any issues. I might pick up the new one because it extends and it looks to be a better fit for my truck.
