TPGB2011018 Notification theme

I love the ROM (thanks adam was a big fan of phoenix roms for the captivate). However, randomly my icons will turn grey then back to green, with any theme. I would also like to know if anyone knows a way to remove the time from the notification bar and perhaps have the reception shown like in honeysense where it vertical as opposed to horizontal and percentage with the battery. Using the Galxy green theme. green notification text would be nice as well like in vivid lime for the atrix.
If anyone could point me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Not trying to sound like a beggar just determined to finish the look im going for. Thanks in advance.
The icons go from connected (grey) to fully connected (green). That is normal. A lot of switching is not and may just be a radio issue. Also, the time would have to be modified in the framework, not a five minute fix. Also, the honey comb signal is super easy to do in photo shop.

I thought it might have jad something to do with the radio. i flashed the one you had suggested with the rom. how would i go about extracting the notification icons? thanks for you help.

[Q] Edit Sense Live Wallpaper

I have been looking for a way to edit already made live wallpapers. All I want to do is use the HTC LWP with the floating colored circles and edit it to be slightly darker. That way my phone screen can stay a little brighter but the LWP running in the back is slightly dim.
Thanks for any info.
Anyone?

Id really love to see that
Bump... Any one have a clue? At least for the tint of the colors or something simple like that?

I'm not really sure, but u can use apk manager to decompile the app. The only problem is that u would have to do that manually.

Sense 3.0 Launch bar

I'm talking about the bottom launch bar, the curvy one with "phone" in the middle, why is the upper edge so pixelated and not as smooth as the one in the older sense, it feels out of place specially on a qHD screen, I know this isn't important and I've already forgotten about it but another thread reminded me of it and I thought I'd ask what you guys think?

I really wish they would changed that and make it smooth.
that was actually the first thing i noticed when i got me my phone. but after a while it does not really bother me as much, you stop noticing it
hm lol I just noticed. Dudu's at HTC forgot to turn on antialiasing
Well anyway, I want to get rid of that damn thing asap when root will be avail.
lol yeah something like that, it doesn't bother me at all as well, but I have to say it looks quite stupid, it looks like a badly made Sense copy theme from the market
Yep, Hope to make it disappear asap when we get S-Off!
Bring on S-off and CM7!!

Strange lines on sence, broken screen?

Hi
My sensation started displaying some lines on the HTC sence screens. Think of lines of noise, something like that. You might think that the screen is broken.
When I change screens then no problem, when i get back to the same screen the lines are there, if I restart the sence or change scene then this fixes the problen. It appears again after some hours.
Do you have ant ideas?

It is a known problem it is caused by widgets that aren't directly sense widgets. Such as the Google search bar. Or handset sms widget. It happens because most Apps aren't optimized for qHD screens. I mean think about it I can only think of 3 phones that have the qHD screen in US Evo 3D, Sensation, and the Atrix 4G. So it's a problem as simple as that idk any fixes.

I don't have this problem :S
Same here
Relieved to see that I'm not the only one, and that it seems to be normal
Get this with the facebook widget too
Get like blue lines running horizontally thru widget.
Have to remove and re-add widget to clear it--
screen lines
I have this problem with my widgets also. I reset the phone and most of the time it clears up but not always.
Bug with a live wallpaper perhaps?

not here - running static wallpaper and get the lines
I think it has to do with the non htc widgets. I get them on my cnn widget and not any of the HTC weather/stock/tip calculator widget. I just download fast reboot from the market to "refresh"/restart the running apps. That seems to fix the "rainbow line" in the widgets.
Changing scenes or skins does that to the widgets, even HTC ones (power control), all you have to do if that happens after changing the skin is to remove the widget and put it back again, it won't happen again as long as you didn't change the skin, also it won't necessarily happen every time you change the skin, it seems to be a random thing, anyway don't worry, your screen is fine, it's all software, this is just a bug that should be easily fixed in coming updates (note that I'm not talking about widgets that don't support qHD, that's another issue).

I concur that this is an effective way of dealing with this most annoying problem.

Same problem here with non-HTC widgets. Will try that fast reboot!

wallpaper ?

can somebody explain this wallpaper deal on the 1X, i find a cool one that according to specs has the correct size. save it to the phone --then i either add it as wallpaper via the Gallery or Personalize and it shows me the wallpaper, with a green square on it that i can slightly enlarge but still it only uses about a third of the entire image, on top of that.. quite a few look like crap (to put it blunt), very pixelated.. what am i missing here.
(related, yesterday i found how to have a different wallpaper on the lock screen but can;t find the setting anymore...)
Use quickpic from the market.

uhm... not quite the explanation i was hoping for ;] will this app allow me to set larger wallpapers ? someone else say it may be a Sense "feature".
Gotta use an app like the one above to make full res wallpapers. I think dodol wallpaper from the marketplace also works.

The "green square" just shows where the home screen will be. Sense has scrolling wallpaper, so you will still see the area to the left and right of the green square as you scroll left and right n sense.

understood, but it also cuts of the top and bottom while i used the right resolution which then makes (if it has something on the image...) pixelated, someone said it may just be Sense who causes that. i find it odd, i download the exact size and have to cut pieces.

Do not ask a question without first making peace with yourself and knowing what you are looking for. If you want to fix that, use quickpic app from the market. Of not, good luck making your own gallery app

You do realise you can expand the green box and stretch it to the top and bottom of the image?

yes, i can resize but only so far, and the green box resizes proportional.
Guys, don't be so quick to jump on the op. Its pretty clear what he's trying to say. I know because I experienced it. I'm gonna take a guess and say ur using stock ROM? I had the same problem when I was in stock ROM, he green square only stretches so far, it does not encompass the entire image, therefore the image it sets as your wallpaper becomes stretched and therefore pixelated. I also tried to find ways around this op but I couldn't find any, well that is until I flashed another ROM. I can't quite remember I it worked when I ran cleanrom, but any aosp ROM will work like aokp and cm9/10. With these ROMs the green square stretches out to encompass the full image therefore giving you the right resolution for ur home screen. Other than that I know of no way around the problem. Flash an aosp ROM op, you will thank me for it later

The green box isn't supposed to stretch across the whole image. The green box represent one Sense tab, ie the homescreen. The area ot the left and right of the green box is still part of the wallpaper, when you scroll left and right through the Sense tabs.
I don't see the problem here?

Well, just like Sense it shows a square which limits the use of the entire image, is that hard to.comprehend ?

i was using the clock lock-screen, to be able to use a different wallpaper on the lock-screen you must choose "wallpaper" instead of the clock lock screen.. can't have both i guess (#unrooted)
Myself I find pics in range of 1280x1440, that gives nice clear picture viewable over several scrolling screens.
Of course, Ymmv.
