Hi all,
I just developed my first game, Color Confusion http://bit.ly/kSX8go, and hope folks here get a chance to check it out. Any feedback is welcome.
Being my first game, there are probably things that could be done better, but my tesing group (wife and kids =) seem to really enjoy playing it.
We have an Asus Transformer, so optimizing for tablets/honeycomb was important to us.
UPDATE:
Color Confusion Game Trailer: http://bit.ly/jU7HXE
Description
See if you have what it takes to solve each level, by mixing a wide array of colors into cans of paint. Don’t be fooled as gameplay starts off easy, with a small number of colors. As you progress, it becomes pure Color Confusion!
* USER REVIEWS *
- “Very fun! Makes you actually think!”
- “Good for passing time. Fun! Very nice.!”
- “This game is a ton of fun! It seems so simple but it very challenging.”
FEATURES:
** Optimized Honeycomb 3.0 support
** HD Tablet resolution graphics included
** Supports lower resolution devices as well
** Never the same game twice
** Great game for teaching kids how to mix colors
** High score tracking for each level
** Seemingly easy at first glance, but becomes additively difficult
** In-app help included
** Atmospheric background music
** Free version includes first four levels
** Free version includes ads
awesome, ill have to check it out. good work.
luciferii, thanks for the kind words.
I submitted this app to Amazon, and it has been approved. Anyone know how long it takes to "go-live" on Amazon? It has been a couple of days in approved status...but no way I can tell to make it go live. Does Amazon do automatically?
Hi Funny idea for a game.
I've noticed that I went too many times for the obvious choice, like for green I was mixing a darker green with a lighter color instead of mixing blue and yellow.
I've got two minor recommendation:
If you go to play, help or scores and press the back button, it exits the game. I should expect that it would go back to the main menu.
When pressing the remix button it directly remixes the colors. On a tablet touching this by accident isn't really the case, but when playing it on for instance the bus on your phone it can happen. A are you sure dialog can avoid this.
It's rather good Could you make the sample of the colour we have to match bigger? It is a tad small when playing on a phone.
Hi,
Tricky Design, thanks for the great feedback! For the help/score exiting the game, I was able to replicate that as well. I fixed that bug in an update (see below version history). That was a good catch! The re-mix is also a good idea, I will put that in my next update!
Isadora, Thanks for the great feedback as well! I will for sure make the swatch colors bigger on the next build.
Really appreciate you all checking it out, feel free to spread the word if you like it...being my first game...it is hard getting it "off the ground"
For reference, here are the updates I have done so far...most are based on user feedback...I am really trying to address user feedback
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.2
1. Based on user feedback, added option to mute background music (new icon on main menu)
2. Minor changes to Ad sizing for some devices
3. More performance improvements
Version 1.1
1. Based on user feedback, adjusted difficulty levels
2. Performance improvements
3. New "free" icon, to distinguish paid from free if both installed
4. Increased Color Palette size and buttons, to make play easier on phones
5. Fixed bug with game exiting when hitting menu button on scores and help.
Version 1.0
1. Initial Release
Color Confusion was featured on Blamza.com http://bit.ly/jfnGxB !
"Simple but addictive...excellent game...try it out" -Blamza.com
It seems that the paid (ad-free) version still has the ad code involved somewhere, because it still wants internet and unique identifier permissions. That's something of a turn-off.
Hi ResonanceZero,
Thanks for the feedback.
The paid version has the Ad stuff removed...however, this was built with Corona SDK, and that permission is added during their "build" process. I will do some research as to why that is the case, and see what can be done about it.
Thanks again for taking time to look at it and provide feedback.
Since it is my first game, I am still learning a lot...and having fun
I don't know if I am doing something wrong or, but whenever I download the game and run it, it says that the application has been corrupted
Sent from my disease ridden .... I mean CommRom Fascinate.
Color Confusion 1.3 just released! Now you can see the answers, if you fail a level!
Check it out here: http://bit.ly/kSX8go
Color Confusion, never the same game twice!

Not much of a gaming person, but it does look nice and well made!
And i love the music in the trailer well done
barty22, thanks for the nice feedback on the trailer. It was my first attempt at something like this...and I thought it turned out pretty well. Glad you liked it!
Color Confusion gets great hands on video review from TalkAndroid.com!

Hopefully you all have as much fun playing Color Confusion as we did making it!
Color Confusion 1.5 released, with updated graphics. Gameplay looks much better now. Enjoy!
http://market.android.com/details?id=com.gibibytegames.colorconfusionfree
Thanks for listening,
http://www.gibibytegames.com/
It's a great little game I really like that all the levels are different every time but I'm just annoyed that I haven't managed to master level 10 yet (there *always* seems to be 2 colours that I can't mix right!)
Isadora,
I am so glad to hear you think it is a great game
We did work hard to make the gameplay have lasting value...by making the levels different every time.
You are right...level 10 is very challenging...I have managed to solve it a few times...at least now you can see the answers if you fail. That was a feature folks were asking for.
One of the hardest things is "getting the word out" on these games. Really appreciate you taking time to play!

Hi,
this is my first game I developed.
Since I only have the HTC HD2 I tried it only on this device.
I'm not good with graphics so who wants can help me to enrich this game to new levels and graphics more attractive!
Yet only 5 levels!
Tell me any bugs!
This is the link: http://www.xoooox.it/software/index.php
thanx
xoooox.it
(Sorry for my english, I have used google translator)
owtommywo - Excellent Start look forward to seeing this one develop....
I found two bugs from level 3 - it appears that the line from the ball to the original placer disappears. Program doesn't exit with exiting.
Suggestions -
improve graphics on the ball and "hole"
add a gravity effect (maybe on later levels)
Nice little app.
simple and fun little game idd.
bugs:
(level 3-4-5)the line attached to the ball and circle the ball is attached is missing
(level 4) the "physics" in the platforms that move up and down are bit wrong. If you hit the ball one of those platforms, there are times that the ball will "avoid" the platform and move to its normal direction. doesnt happen all the times though
suggestion: if you are going to add more levels, i suggest you give the player an extra life for every i.e. 5 levels or 1500 score.
or if you are going to add a menu, add this "extra life" thing in the easy mode.
keep it up! if u continue developing this game and add more stuff it can get really fun!
btw, since i have no idea about wm application developing, but im really interested in this subject, can u send me a pm with some details about how to get started or some info (like what languages do u use and stuff).
looks interesting. i'll give it a try =)
I found it nice though i just gave it a fast look, with better ball and hole graphics it will perfect, luck
Excellent start. Please keep up the hard work and I'll keep looking for developments.
good
yes good work keep it up ok !!!
Nice game I like it, All bugs I found where already mentioned.
The graphics for the hole are fine if you ask me, but the graphics for the ball could be better maybe something like teeter?
The background is nice, but maybe it could change in different levels?
Anyway keep updating this, it is a nice game!
Very cool game !
Why don't you upload it into my appstore?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=707988
You can select the device so it's only for HD2
coooooll game but please make the animation a little bit faster
i think it takes to long from one point to the next ... I loveeee it ;D
hi ,good work
Thanks for the GAME..!!!
Great start of a good game
Some options:
- Dont do a bouncy climber, it takes to long to shoot (gets annoying )
- Make a Menu, where you can start at a level you finished, mute sounds.
- A funny music with the choice to turn it off
- Think of a Theme, like middleages (background ) and create your graphics for that. Like a guy who you have to shoot to every hole or something. And he must reach the top of the tower to get to his girl.
- Get some bonusses in the game, like coins or something
I think this game has much potention
good job
Hi,
thanks for this cool game. Works fine on my Touch Diamond 2.
Nice Little Game, look forward to extra levels, thanks owtommywo, and your English is fine
Thanks to all for comments and encouragement to continue this project.
Since it is a free software project is looking for people who help me with graphics passing me backgrounds, graphics menu ideas and graphics for balls
I commented all your suggestions.
Since it is a free software project I have created a flexible engine so that changing a single file can be added at very easily.
I'll try to update the engine often to add more functionality as possible, but I need a strong support on the graphics!
------------> Version 1.0
List Bugs:
Neville.Holland -> Program doesn't exit with exiting
[On my HD2 i don't found this problem! I can provide some other description?]
Neville.Holland -> level 3 - it appears that the line from the ball to the original placer disappears.
runningdap
[I decided to delete the line to level 3 to increase difficulty. Add a new menu to select the level (Easy - Hard) where it appears / disappears line!]
runningdap -> (level 4) the "physics" in the platforms that move up and down are bit wrong. If you hit the ball one of those platforms, there are times that the ball will "avoid" the platform and move to its normal direction. doesnt happen all the times though
List Suggestions:
Neville.Holland -> improve graphics on the ball and "hole"
y3kt
golles
[My big problem is the graphics! Since it is a free game, people try to help me with graphics]
Neville.Holland -> add a gravity effect (maybe on later levels)
[For this we have to think a little ]
runningdap -> if you are going to add more levels, i suggest you give the player an extra life for every i.e. 5 levels or 1500 score
batez2002
[Already, increasing the life of every beginning level to a maximum of 7! If you think it's just every 1500 (Easy) points (3000 Hard) I can add yet another. (maximum 7)]
golles -> The background is nice, but maybe it could change in different levels?
[Since I am not good at graphics, the background I got from the Internet. I would change the whole theme every 5 levels, but guys who try to help me with graphic material.]
davidgiga -> Why don't you upload it into my appstore?
[I did not know this application! Just add some other level, add]
jonas2295 -> but please make the animation a little bit faster
[Ok, will increase a little animation]
1Maximus1 -> Dont do a bouncy climber, it takes to long to shoot (gets annoying)
[Sorry, I don't understand]
1Maximus1 -> Make a Menu, where you can start at a level you finished
[Currently stored levels finished. If the game comes out and you can start from the last]
1Maximus1 -> mute sounds
[I'm doing a search for her to enter]
1Maximus1 -> A funny music with the choice to turn it off
[For the soundtrack I do not know how to play midi files in C# application on PDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=689863]
1Maximus1 -> Think of a Theme, like middleages (background ) and create your graphics for that. Like a guy who you have to shoot to every hole or something. And he must reach the top of the tower to get to his girl.
[Too difficult for now! But we think!]
1Maximus1 -> Get some bonusses in the game, like coins or something
[While I tried a lot of times I got the same idea! Now two of us to think ... I have to do!]
Other Info:
runningdap -> since i have no idea about wm application developing, but im really interested in this subject, can u send me a pm with some details about how to get started or some info (like what languages do u use and stuff).
[For this project I used VS2010 and I programmed in C#. If you want to start programming games I am attaching my old post on XDA Forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=668326
AfRo_SaMuRaI -> Works fine on my Touch Diamond 2
[This is great news!]
Thanks again to all
xoooox
Nice game !
Another idea could be to add some levels of difficulty (easy, medium, hard). The higher te difficulty, the less bounces against the side are allowed
For example:
- easy: unlimited bounce
- medium: max. 2 bounces
- hard: max 1 bounce
1Maximus1 -> Dont do a bouncy climber, it takes to long to shoot (gets annoying)
[Sorry, I don't understand]
Click to collapse
He means the "bounce" effect after the screen scrolls up to the next hole.. it takes too long to settle so you can continue playing.. so if it just scrolled up, then stops immediately so you can carry on playing faster!
Great game btw, simple and addictive like all the best games, well done!
Great
You need an designer
I am a designer.
This game has great potentiol to grow to big heights.
I want to help you and create a fantastic game.
You know the codes and i know how to work with designs
Lets bring those 2 things together...
Do you have MSN? or something.
PM me with your mail and we can start to build a fantastic game you started
Works great on my Touch Pro2 keep up the good work.
We are glad to present you a modern remake of the classic game "labyrinth". In the game DarkMaze we will find yourself in a dark, poorly illuminated maze. Many dangers and puzzles will wait you in the darkness: cannons, spikes, holes, secret buttons, which can enforce a killing device… or open the door where you’ll find the exit! And, surely, there is no labyrinth without treasures!
The control in the game, the same as in the original version, is performed with an accelerometer. The game fits for both smart-phones and tablets.
See screenshot in post attachment

The game is available in Android Market
ZOMG Team blog
love the loading screen.
actually, the entire game is AWESOME!!! theres some creepy vibe to the poor light that makes it really cool.
keep on improving/updating!
how to do level 6?
Roll to the top right corner (the ball will be just near the laser), then tilt the device dramatically. Because the ball grows not in a flash, you will be able to go further after the laser.
Fun game, thanks for sharing!
Tested on my HTC Desire Z with Android 2.3.3.
Really like the concept. I played the first 5 levels and suddenly thought: "Wow, a maze game with a bit of SplinterCell feeling. Hmm, maybe the tiny ball get some gadgets like an electro-shocker later."
I´ll play the rest tomorrow - have to work now - keep up the good work.
For level 6 you have to roll quick through the laser otherwise the ball is getting to large.
Feature request: It would be nice if you could turn of the vibrate feedback.
we adding vibration control in next update
dang, really want to try this game, but it force closes a few seconds after opening the app, G2 running MexDroidMod(CM7 derivative).

Really nice game! Congrats
I really like the game. But whats up with the trailer on the market http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJIozJhaf2s&feature=player_embedded
in market this part named as Promo... we created small promo, not ingame video...
Nice!
Thanks, It's a very good looking, great game!
Thanks, makes fun
I really hate to make this request here, but do you think it is possible to post the .apk?
The new market sucks big time, wont let me install apps if I am not on 240 dip resolution. Or maybe thats even something you guys could change, because not all apps aren't working. I believe if the dev includes some resolution requirements, the market just blocks installation to devices it knows don't have the "right" setting.
It appears to be some kind of quality control feature, to ensure that the tablet users don't download apps which will look funny on their device, very annoying if you ask me...
Hi all,
My second app is up on the marketplace:
https://market.android.com/details?id=ph.android.smokeLWP
It's a fluid solver driven live wallpaper and stand-alone app.
The effect is a simple but satisfying dynamic smoke.
Youtube video to follow tomorrow.
I would really appreciate your feedback and feature requests!
Cheers,
-=JK=-
My sgs2 is smoking!
Impressions are good, although with a blank initial screen, thought something was wrong until I touched it...(Duh I know).
A wee bit pixilated but understand the universal performance issue, which would slow most devices dramatically If at a higher resolution.
It reminds me of a app called Fleya, which is on the market, if you are not familiar with it, check it out.
But this is a great start, and being a fan of fluid / smoke dynamic simulations, this is a keeper
Will be following this.
Well done and thanks.
Regards
With reference to the "Fleya" app for reference.

Thanks buzzboy.
Yeah, I am also a fan of fleya!
I've got quite a lot to add to Smoke Play to get it to where I want it. I've been messing around with some settings and superficial stuff for about a week so I thought it just needs to get out there.
My ideas for features are:
a settings activity where you can up the detail and iterations on the fluid solver for more powerful phones
expose all the smoke (or fluid) properties to be customisable
define some cool pre-sets
coloured smoke that mixes (have this working on my laptop)
continuous auto-sources of smoke
objects (draw shapes) in the path of the smoke
calculated objects field from the homescreen icons (smoke collides with your icons)
an auto-config activity which scales the detail up or down to optimise quality on all phones
maybe put an ad in the settings activity
I'm not sure what order I'll do things in. I think some sort of settings screen will be up next.
I'm keen to hear other ideas too!
Cheers,
-=JK=-
Just made an update, check it out!
Added features:
- smoothed the input
- added multitouch
- added a settings screen to make the level of detail user configurable
The "medium" level of detail is about right for my SGS ... so you can judge the right setting for your phone.
Cheers,
-=JK=-
Another update:
- tweaked the settings for the different levels of detail smoke
- fixed a memory usage bug (will keep an eye on this, difficult to reproduce)
Cheers,
-=JK=-
Nice, runs at very high on my DHD, nice work.
Sent from HydrOG3N MOD DHD.
Technology Evolves, Android Evolves.
HydrOG3N is THE Revolution.
Real smooth on my echo, nice work
This is very entertaining. I am looking forward to the features you want to implement.
How about accelerometer detection so the smoke rises accordingly, depending on how the phone is being held.
I wallpaper works in the preview mode but will not apply to homescreen. One suggestion I can think of is being able to change the background image. It would be awesome to be able to have a weed background with dynamic smoke
Sent from my Hero CDMA using XDA App
This wallpaper is amazing. The only thing it really needs is a certain amount of smoke as a sort of baseline so that I don't have a blank phone every time I wake it up. It is pretty nifty that the screen comes alive the first time you touch it though..
Nice!
Working great on my SGS running on High detail. Very nice work!
Hope to see implementation of accelerometer and colors.
Thanks for the feedback everyone, great to hear!
I wanted to make more updates, but I've been a bit tight for time recently. Some of the feedback I've had is that it looks pixelated so I've been unsuccessfully trying to work on a simple shader to smooth the rendering. I may not be able to make this work, but I'd like to. For those interested, the fluid sim uses C code via the NDK so this may be complicating things for me ... also shaders will not work below Android 2.2 which adds complication.
Colour is definitely coming, I have this working with a simple RGB colours in my test code. I want a nice way to choose colours in the settings screen. Any suggestions around this would be cool.
Accelerometer detection will come, but this will be slightly more tricky than colour and may take me a little time.
A constant source of some smoke (so there is something always on the screen) will be a later addition.
I haven't looked at transparency over a background image yet.
Cheers,
-=JK=-
i love this man its very nice. the updates you want to do are sounding great too! one thing i do want to add is an idea for it. maybe when you get the constant smoke source try having so your touches dont always produce smoke but can just twirl it and influence it. like have a setting where you can turn on constant smoke and then play with it. But its great so far keep up the work!
Hi Guys,
Got an update out! (finally)
This one includes:
- a bug fix of a known issue in OpenGL which was causing a crash when switching between the app and the wallpaper every now and then
- a smoothing renderer. This takes the edges off the pixelated look which was the main feedback I was getting.
I went down and back several paths to try and smooth the rendering. I'm fairly happy with it. The levels of detail for the fluid simulation are the same as before, but it divides each cell into 4 and does a sort of subtle bloom effect prior to the gl rendering calls.
Hope this improves the look and feel for people.
I looked at porting to OpenGL ES 2.0 (from 1.0), but it was just too difficult for what I was doing. If anyone knows a good tutorial to do this I may look into it in the future. I think the shader effects available in 2.0 would further improve / customise the visuals.
Cheers,
-=JK=-
PS - next up: accelerometer (then coloured smoke / constant sources)
New version out today!
Accelerometer detection for the smoke rising added.
Also slightly improved the rendering performance.
Finally got around to filming it too, here's a video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xdLceg474k
Cheers,
-=JK=-
Version 1.8 up on the market.
Added continuous source mode: smoke is continuously added to the middle of the screen, swipe to push it around with forces.
Added simple colour: cycles through RGB when you touch the screen.
Next up: background image, colour picker.
Cheers,
-=JK=-
Thanks for sharing.
As an FYI, the smoke is pixelated on my Archos 70 :
I'm using the latest market version with "smooth rendering" enabled.
Hi jknut,
I'm sorry it's pixelated on your device.
You can try upping the smoke level of detail in the options.
Unfortunately, this will increase the number of calculations per frame and may slow it down to a crawl.
There's not a lot I can do about this ... the algorithm is implemented in C via the NDK so it's not going to get much faster. I have implemented a fixed point version which gave a slight speed increase but unacceptable precision for the effect.
Even on my Core i5 laptop I can easily make it grind to a halt on a detail setting not much more than the "are you feeling lucky" one.
Cheers,
-=JK=-
PS - more features to follow, just swamped with work right now
Version 1.9!
Hi all,
New version just released.
Features added:
- colour picker, so you can choose your own colours
- background images you can pick

Hi guys,
I have released a game called Flicky Circles. Flicky Circles is simple, fast and thinkful android game to play with your friends or against a computer. Originally inspired by OLO. Flicky Circles is free in a small size apk. Give it a try. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you for your support!
About:
Each player starts with 6 circles in 3 different sizes. Circle gets smaller each time it lands on player's starting point (white color). Goal is to flick your circles into same colored ending zone and achieve more points than opponent. With two or more same sized circles, player gets a bonus point...
Supported:
- any resolution from 320x480 - 1080x1920
- android 2.3 and higher.
More details on google play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goranhorvat.flickycircles
FB fan page:
https://www.facebook.com/FlickyCircles
I hope you will like it.
I would like to have some opinions about Flicky Circles. Have you tried? Is there "missing" something in the game and would make it more playable for you?
Very nice, really polished and a great interface. Fun game idea. The text in the help screen/intro could use some polish.
"Each player starts with an equal amount of circles representing their moves."
"Each circle gives the player a point when it reaches their colored zone. If 2 congruent circles are landed, the player gets a bonus point"
"Reach the colored space and flick away towards the opponents circles to defeat the opponent."
"Player captures the opponent's circle if it lands in their starting area. The circle becomes smaller."
"Lock button freezes circles in place for one round. It can only be used once per game."
Feel free to tweak those for brevity if you need to.
Also, on the game pause screen, the text doesn't change colors when you tap it like it does on the main menu. This kind of has a jarring effect because you can't tell if it detected your touch or not.
Thank you for helping me with words. I will update these things including pause screen UI in the next version.
Downloaded
This looks like a fun game. Just downloaded it. I'll take it for a spin this weekend and give you my feedback
Lookout flags it as adware
I've just installed it and Lookout pop's up a message "Flicky Circles" is adware
See attached screenshot
EDIT: it also gives this detail:-
APP REPORT
CLASSIFICATION: Adware.Android.Rev.Mob.a
This app may contain the RevMob ad network. It may create push notification ads that appear in your notification bar. It may not be clear to you that this application is creating these ads. It also may send personally identifying information, such as your email or IMSI, to RevMob’s servers.
Hi fangthorn, I don't use Lookout, so thanks for detailed explanation. I'll remove revmob from Flicky Circles within 24hours.
I had a quick go at lunchtime. I can see this being very addictive
Apart from the popup ad it's a fun game :good:
Looking nice
Games looking nice, but not able to play in my defy.
My defy is running JB 4.1.2 (Quarx), when I open game menu screen will come and when I press single or double player again it s return to main menu with different color, is this problem with rom r .................
Thanks
Hi navin, I don't understand exactly what kind of problem you have? Can you play Flicky Circles? Colors are supposed to change each play.
graylowes, thank you for your feedback.
I downloade it just for giggles, but i really like it.
Its simple and addictive. And the 2 Player mode on one device is
cool. i´ll play it with a friend the next days and see how they like it.
Good Job! Hope for more cool thing to come!
Great job!:good:
game play is very good, a little fast i think but very good!
improving sound tracks would be nice and if possible adding some effects like Menu sound effect in OLO
Looking nice

Currently no plan for sound fx. But in the near future, I will try to add some levels where you can build some flicking skills. I hope players will like it.

I find this wonderful game to be so easy, fun, yet still has some strategy to it to keep your mind going. Bite sized games, but I keep going back again and again and again. Fantastic job! Five stars! Thank you, very much.

Hi guys,
I have released a game called Flicky Circles.

Hi Harvey!
I'm a big big fan of OLO on iPad... and I was really missing this game on Android (and OLO devs clearly state they are not planning to dev their game for the android platform...), so I'm very very happy that you are here developping FlickyCircles... Very promising game, thank you
:good::good::good::good::good:
Just a a few questions:
1) could you add an online play mode? (hopefully not through facebook)
2) can you list all the differences vs OLO in terms of rules and counting points? (in particular coming from OLO, I'm a bit confused about captures (when and how))
3) I hate facebook (yes, I'm quite old fashion...) ... any other way to store and share high scores?
Keep the great work )
EDIT____________________________________
Ok, I've tested further and I don't like too much your capture method because:
1) the smallest circles can't be captured (thus limiting some strategic moves)
2) we end up playing with small circles only, which is also limiting because the small ones are much less powerful
I prefer the OLO capture method where all circles are not shrunk when captured but each circles can only be captured twice (circle that can no more be captured are flickering for a brief moment). Could you maybe offer this different capture method as an option?

I'm glad you like my game.
1. Not yet, but I'll spend some time in the future and try to implement it.
2. Please visit help in the game. All rules are listed there, except maybe that lives of the circles depends on their sizes. So therefore, the smallest circle can't get any smaller and you loose it if it lands on the white zone.
3. Currently no. I made sharing with facebook just for fun. If I want to add other sharing options, game would become much larger (in KB)...
But I'm thinking of having online scores inside Flicky Circles, if that's what you prefer?
Thank you Surfinette and ghostinrags!
thanks
Thanks for sharing

Thank u!
It looks good I will try later.
If you could make the google play link clickable in your post it would be better to spot.
Well, i tried it.
-Until you connect to Play games, the screen freezes for about 10 sec every time you die.
-There's no exit option nor settings (i know it's a new game but still, you can't have a good game without some settings like turning off all music).
-The controls are okay but you can't swipe and shoot the monsters at the same time (you have to wait for the animation to end before you can shoot) which i hope will be fixed or rearranged.
-The camera angle is not good to be honest and the lighting in game is so low you can't see boxes, walls and other stuff on both sides which is again caused by the cam angle and height.
-The text with the instructions and the buttons are too small.
So, yeah, you got my full review, love the idea of this game and i cant wait for updates

Thank you very much for this great feedback. I have taken some things on my to do list.
- Option to exit and mute sound or/and music
- Lightmap must be brighter
- The elements on the tutorial screen should be greater
- and yes shame on me if you don´t want to login with google play i should skip the login event for highscore
Thank u and stay tuned. The next update comes at the end of the week.
No problem

Did you get the name from the "Tales series" any chance you know of that game series ?
*When you start you get shown a 3 rectangles with info about with monsters controls etc. To me it doesn't seem to help at all in figuring out what to do and how to play.
*As mentioned earlier Yes some the text are way too tiny..
*I would suggest tap and hold the top of the screen to shoot that would free up slide up and down for jump and slide.
*When i faced 3 monsters and was running in the middle row. I slide down to shoot. Instead of killing the monster in front of me i killed the one to the far left.
*There is some serious delay in changing lanes. And changing lanes twice quickly failed to work in the expected manner.
*Too much delay between firing of arrows.
The game itself is pretty nice but it feels sluggish
There is input lag or the frames per second are low(?)
Looking forward to updates and appreciate the work you've done

Don't you think it would make sense to state what devices you are using when you give feedback about the performance?
Same experience here. Input lag causing hard to play after 5000pt+. Except this and little graphic this is really nice game.
Tested on Motorola XT890 with stock 4.1.2.
Great game, lots of fun!
-pause would be nice
-as others have said, needs an options menu especially including a mute
I was also wondering how you can get the follower that is mentioned. It's it just further down the path, or am I missing something?

Awesome art and graphics you have there. There’s a bit of a lag though.
My suggestion would be to add a bit of a tutorial at the beginning if the user plays it for the first time.
Been playing some more...
-As others have said: It does get laggy after you have played a bit for some reason. Seems to be around the 5k mark or just if you have been playing over and over for a while.
-Speed up the shooting. Sometimes the enemies come at you faster than you are able to repeatedly shoot. EDIT: It seems that this could be related to piercing (shooting through more than 1 enemy). Sometimes the blue bolt (swipe down) shoots through several enemies until it passes off the top of the screen, but other times it only kills one enemy before disappearing. On a related note: the bolts also do not travel through arrow pickups but I do not know if this is WAI our not.
-I bought resurrection wings with my coins but they don't seem to auto activate on death and I can't figure how to use them.
Still a solid game.

That kinda makes sense
Nexus 4 over here so performance shouldntfingers-crossed be the problem
the game looks good. certainly you need to fix some minor lags but overall it is well done imo
maybe this will close my need for a good looking endles runner after shadow escaper was closed...
I think you should change the video of the play store.
only 1/4 of the screen is used to show the game itself, while the other part is an almost static background with some text...
even the 1/4 of the screen has the margins of a smartphone...
btw, nice game !
:good:
Which game library did you use to create it?
LibGdx? AndEngine ? Unity?
