When trying to wipe the Dalvik Cache before installing a rom I get the following error in CWR. E: unknown volue for path [/sd-ext] then I receive message Dalvik Cache Wiped.
Any ideas?
You are fine, you don't have Apps2SD, nothing to worry about, it is working normally.

I don't recall seeing this error before and never seen the error with the incredible. Thanks I had a little bit of a panic!

I have accessed my stock recovery and formatted or wiped my "Cache partition" without any problems. But when I choose "Wipe data/factory reset". There's an error coming up. Here's the log:

I believe that drive E:/ stands for my MMC right?, I've double checked it, file that being called on is not existing. Even the stock MMC doesn't have those files.
Could anyone shed some light regarding these files that are being called on?

Just a guess, "cwpkg" means "ClockWork Package"?

I wonder if you get this error if you perform a wipe cache before doing a wipe data/factory reset. Someone with more Android experience than myself might be able to confirm this???
But, perhaps the wipe data option performs its own wipe cache and as you've already done that it then can't find the files to delete??

There's actually no problem.. It boots itself fine after wiping. It really doesn't matter what you choose first or last, my take on it is just whenever you choose the wipe the data. that certain "error" comes up.
But everything is A-ok.. So i guess you can say i'm just curious..

Whenever I try to flash on a new ROM I always wipe system/data. Then fix permissions. But whenever I try to wipe dalvik cache I get the same error (well.. at least I think it's an issue) every time,
E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcb1k1k1p2
(File exists)
Davlik Cache wiped.
It did say that it wiped it, but it didn't mount.. any suggestions? Does it get wiped?

Edit: Also should add that I had that this problem before and after odining to stock.. didn't think of that before.
After getting that "UIDs on the system are inconsistent, you need to wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable" error message in Docs v8, i tried flashing ruu & cwm backup The same error occured, i wiped/factory reseted, cleared dalvik cache and wiped cache.
After rebooting, same error. I wiped the SD card, same error after booting.

Hey guys as the title says my phone is working fine but whenever I wipe cache or wipe dalvik cache twrp says " E:unable to mount storage" even though it succeeds this has been coming since I installed xposed and now I have Uninstalled it still the msg is there...... how to get rid of it I have read that in some cases it has caused serious issues like bootloops and stuff like..... You can't format "cache" it's just a folder. Do you mean formatting a partition? If so, you cannot mount or format a partition that is in use.
You can wipe /clear the cache.....

dont really know what I did, but somebody in a vid said to do so, so i can install a rom. I waited until my battery is empty and restarted the phone. Now twrp doesnt starts anymore. Already installed another version of twrp, does not work, too.
