Hey guys,
Just wanted to share my slightly themed (but not really) LatinIME.apk with you guys. I didn't like the grey buttons so i just replaced the image with the dark buttons on the side and then i changed the numbers to orange.
use adb push.
Code:
adb shell
rm /system/app/LatinIME.apk
exit
adb push LatinIME.apk /system/app/
sorry i don't know how to make a flashable zip... so you'll just have to do it this way unless someone wants to do it?
and that should do it! I'm using CM7 Nightlies... but it should work even on stock roms, albeit the latinIME maybe called LatinImeGoogle.apk or something like that. The theme for my status bar icons is the JAMT theme by ClassicalGas and can be found here!
I've uploaded an orange one as well the dark input bar Mms.apk that is pictured below(which you can push the same way as the keyboard.)
this is NOT a flashable zip, just contains both files!
remember to hit thanks if it works!

How would I go about changing certain notification icons on my status bar without changing everything?
For instance:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If I wanted to change all of my icons on my status bar back to stock sense EXCEPT the battery icon, how would I do that?
On a side note I'm running Skyraider Vanilla 2.5.2 and Prodigy/Touchpros Red theme.
Thanks in advance

You might need to clarify to him that they are Linux scripts and will not run under Windows.

And here in lies a problem hehe, any other suggestions?
Anyone know of any other solutios?
I didn't dig the gradient on the HTC Sense notification bar so I modded it. Credit goes to the creators of Smooth Sense and the Circle Battery mod, which I used in this.

thanks man!
I don't know a way to get the notification bar to be transparent. I think you have to mess with services.jar and I don't really want to do that.
There is already a theme for transparent status bar on this site somewhere, I was HUGe into making that and got it, but theres much more to it. you have to re-make wayyy too many .png files.
Do you have to use Bootstrap everytime you flash something new with Metamorph?
This is awesome looking, will it work on my Evo? I am just running clockworkrecoverymod that comes with unrevoked's quick root, and no other roms. LPP, otherwise stock 2.2 rom. And I put this on the SD AndroidTheme directory and tried to flash it and it froze my phone and kept looping the Sprint Screen...
Any help would be much appreciated, as I would LOVE to have this on my phone
Hi Guys,
Here is some small contribution from me to this wonderful community.
Special thanks to Sai Arun and Deepak Thomas.
For all CM10 Beta 2 users, If you have ever felt that the caller id screen of CM10 is a letdown from CM9, I have something for you. In Cm10, the caller pic gets covered by a semi transparent black layer. I hated that. So, I made that transparent. Have a look
If u like it, go ahead. Install it.
INSTALLATION Instructions
1.Go to system/app folder using any file explorer.
2. Rename existing Phone.apk to Phone.apk.bak for backup.
3. Place the Phone.apk you donwloaded from here in that folder.
4. Set permissions
5. Reboot
Enjoy!
Works only for English users. For now. Visit this page in few days for all languages support.
Works on CM10 Beta2
P.S. The photo sizes are different because i had to set it again. The photo size will not be affected

I should have been more clear. Works only on Beta2.
does this happen to work on 4.2.2?
If it's possible, can someone guide me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance!

Alright, your phone will need to be rooted, with usb debugging enabled. I'm assuming you still have stock moto on your phone somewhere.
I don't promise that the stock camera will work in CM, so you should backup the CM camera just in case.
1) Go into command prompt, and use the "cd" command to switch to a directory with adb in it.
2) Type in the following without quotes:
"adb pull /system/app/MotCamera.apk C:\[Directory of your choice on your computer\MotCamera.apk"
3) Replace the camera in the CM build of your choice with this one, by deleting the CM Camera in the \system\app folder, and pasting the MotCamera.apk in there.
4) Install the CM build however you like.
5) If the camera doesn't show up, make sure youre rooted, and navigate to the /system/app/MotCamera.apk in a file explorer and long tap, press properties on the apk, and change the file permissions to rw-r--r-- (User: Read Write Group: Read Other: Read)
This should work!
Oh and sorry for the huge example pictures. Couldnt make them smaller without making the text unreadable :\
Good Luck!

Hey guys,
I was getting kinda bored with the default charging screen,
The default icons are only Greyscale, and our phones are far from Black and White screens,
So i thought of making use of the screen that can display 16M colors!!!
This is not entirely my work, and i would like to thank the creator of the original images which i have heavily upscaled, and modified to a great extent...
Root Access Required!!
Instructions:
1. Download the attachment from the link below.
2. Extract the .zip and copy its contents to your mobile storage
3. Copy the .png files and paste it to "/system/etc/chgicon" by any app that supports Root File System access and set all images permission to "rw-r-r"
4. Turn off your phone and plug in wall charger and see the effect....
