Please advice?
Thanks in advance
Have you posted in the thread where you got the ROM? Perhaps others have had the same problems/known bug with that ROM?
There are other players on the Market you could try, including vplayer, rockplayer and others.
I installed Rom from below link. The player is not working on videos that i recorded with HTC origenal camera.

After Flashing CM I've noticed that I can't play HQ videos anymore. Only Audio playback is there, video is stuck. Even in youtube or browser LQ video works fine, but when I play HQ (not HD) the video is blank or stuck and only audio plays.
Any solutions?

I've installed CM10 on my phone and the video player function of the Gallery app doesn't seem to support very many video formats. The manufacturer ROM (Sony Xperia Tipo ICS) could play lots of different kind of videos in the same default gallery app, which was very handy. Is there a way to install codecs on CM10 so that Gallery would use them? I don't particularly want to install another player, since otherwise the default Gallery already does what I want.
Another thing is that the Gallery doesn't seem to play the format that the video camera on the phone produces. Is that really the situation on stock CM10?
Oh, it seems that at least part of the problem is that the Gallery / Video Player / Camera is just flaky on this Free Xperia build of CM10. It's not an officially stable one. The video player can play at least video from the camera of the phone and mp4 files off the net, but it frequently refuses to or crashes.
I recently installed CyanogenMod on my Galaxy S2. I lost (of course) the default Music Player and also the default Video Player with it.
Can anyone provide me the working apks of these two apps. Both of these had a feature to play the video or audio directly on my TV and I don't know whether the Apollo Music Player does that. Thanking already.
Hi,
anyone experianced changes in Video Player capability.
On Kitkat 4.4.4 ROM I could playback the AVCHD videos from my Sony DSLR, on Lollipop it says the codec is not supported any more.
Anyone else experienced this?
