[Q] ShadowRom

all this talk about sky raider and cm6? i'm running the new shadow rom has any one else tried out this rom at all? if so how does everyone like it let me know. (not sure if this should be here or in the Q&A forgive me mods.

I'm using shadow rom atm and love it so far. I threw Luna theme on it and it was pretty sweet. I backed it up and now just rolling with it stock. I changed the boot animation cuz for some reason the boot on the rom has a line going across the top.

This is actually my daily, running with adrenalyns kernel, it has been stable. Its based off of cm6 but with some things fixed and additional addons

Yep I did the same thing, had a yellow line on the full animation but the simple animation works fine. I'm keeping Luna though its awesome.

right on guys, yea i had to change the boot animation as well but overall i like this one fast stable and i just d/led that launcher pro application and its fantastic this rom with that app its great, but alas im too broke to get the paid one but i am working at it

Im using the "minimal" boot animation. To choose which one you want go through: menu>settings>shadowrom settings>misc. and choose minimal if you want the other boot animation.

i got the black and bold to work just fine also need to get the update if that is what you want otherwise the answer and ignore buttons are not centered and do not match up

HTC clock

Can someone pull the ACTUAL HTC clock widget? I switched cm7 and I really miss it.
The ones in the market just aren't quite the same. I have my HTC rom still if no one wants to pull it. Can someone just tell me how?

From my understanding it is not possible on cm7. It is a widget designed for HTC sense framework and cm7 does not have any of that bloat. Sorry to bum you out
There are many different clock Widgets out there and I had a hard time finding a good one so I keep it simple and use digital clock widget with bat stat side by side.

As far as apks? Just use root explorer, but once again I doubt it will actually work because sense objects are designed for sense ui

Sense widgets won't work on ROMs without a Sense framework.

What skin is that? I've been using FW but mine doesn't look quite as good as that one.
Edit: Never mind! I installed 1.3 and that worked perfectly.

Fancy widget and launcher pro plus are the two best ways to get most of the important HTC Sense like widgets without all the bloat.

Fancy has a H7C skin that looks just like the real thing.

Yep. It's not like the Chacha port which was from a device without a onscreen keyboard. This is basically cm7

I don't know if you created this ROM, but if you could create an android theme out of it, I'd try it.
Without working components, it's essentially useless for anything other than a curiosity.
I can always pick up my kid's iPod Touch and see the same thing...

No, a dev, Hitnay, created this for the htc magic. I just ported it. As for the non-working components, they should be able to be fixed quite easy, being that this is CM7 based.
Can your kid's ipod touch install android applications? I think not...

Ice the look but not much working. Flashed gapps over it and got nothing plus the market doesn't work and there are some China letters in there which I don't understand. I will flash again if and when u get some of these things fixed

Get the basics all functional and then work on the eye candy.

I completely took out the camera.apk that is in the zip, and replaced it with the miui camera apk, still like a wierd "negative" affect with the picture. Odd

Is anyone having trouble with the weather app & weather widget? It force closes when I swipe or access the app. I've use fixed permissions but again no luck. Any help would be grateful. On the other note.... Yes.. smooth as butter. Awesome job.

Most of this stuff you can grab off his page for the icon use icon changer from the play store etc. He has his clock app on there to so nothing else to port over this should all work fine.

Not sure what it is. All other forums are working in tapatalk just not xda forums and the xda app works.

Everything is working for me and two friend running the same theme odd.

Mine too BTW. Tried uninstalling and still fc. Xda app works. I didn't even think the theme might've caused it but the more I think about it, I think that's when it started.
If anyone else has a fix, sure would like to start using tap again.

I'm on cm10 but using tapatalk 2. It's crazy that the only forum on the app that will cause a fc is xda. The stand alone xda premium app works fine. If I restore my backup tapatalk doesn't forceclose anymore.
