Orange Glow Theme For AOSP And CM6.1 *UPDATE*11/12/2010

UPDATE: Now available for CM6.1
This is just a little theme I have been using for AOSP Rom. So far it is just the framework and a themed launcher pro so that the widgets match. This is my first theme I wanted to contribute so if there is anything you would like to see added to this let me know and I'll try and make that happen. Most of the native apps and such already look good (to me) but I will theme them as well if you the people would like. Also If you use a different home app such as ADW or Launcher2, I will theme them if you would like. Theme is PNG optimized and signed for wholesome flashing.

****Install Launcher PRO from the SDcard
If you use launcher pro, you have to unlock it for desktop visualizer to work(I think). Adw works fine.
*Download Desktop Visualizer from the market(free).
**Add DV widget size 4x1. (2x1 works ok as well)
***I recommend changing your screen size to at least 5 rows x 4 columns. (6x4 works good too)

Thanks man, I was going for somewhat of a "sense" feel, but with brighter colors. Your themes are great. I especially dig the Galaxy S port and all the tools you've provided us to use.

Gracias Amigo. Your Impaled Blue is wicked. I'm kinda a flash-a-holic so I usually flash theme just about every theme for what ever rom I happen to be running atm.

not for me, but looks good. glad it worked out the way you liked it.

Very good job on this. You'll probably do fine with just LauncherPro. Seems most aosp users use it. ADW would probably top it off though

Ha, never crossed my mind, but yeah. Impaler's gold theme makes a hella good Saints theme.

If you've got time sure. This shade of orange perfectly matches my dads 1971 Dodge Demon I grew up loving. I'm porting a red theme now but I really like where this is going.

I haven't started recompiling yet. Driving back from Florida with my daughter now. I've got all the files prepared and plan on redoing all the .apk tomorrow then figuring out notification colors and a full update script.

[MODS] Mods for Warm Z and other z based roms

this is just the beginning of this thread it will be added to most likely on a daily basis.
Make sure when flashing these clock mods that you dont wipe and that you have a clock on your homescreen before flashing or they wont work....
BIG THANKS TO: Stoney666 for letting use some or his images to make these clocks and for his guidance....most of the images used for these clocks are images that stoney made himself especially the 3D ones... all i did was port them over to work with this rom and ad my own little flavor of color and such... so if you like these clocks make sure you give him a thanks to.... added a link to his stuff in my sig.....

BTW what's the name of that widget (I'm assuming it's a widget) that's showing your battery, disk space, ram, and all that? It looks pretty sweet, I like it

hey i got the inverted black and whitebclock, love it...noticed tho the first time i ran it, turned my phone landscape and it just locked up...power button did nothing, hard buttons did nothing's..had to battery pull. second time, there was a graphical error when the flip motion occurred, seemed as if it were a broken animation. seems cool tho, i love this inverted look

hey root, check out your example pic for that clock actually. if you notice, the corners aren't round at the top for the minutes like they are for the hours, they're square...you might have a less noticeable version of what i'm seeing, but that's part of what i'm seeing on mine

The widget is called Elixir, it's awesome. Add apps or switches to the dock, plus there's a full list of options.

James, when you make the tabs for the flip clocks, you need to be as precise as possible or they will fall apart like that screeny. Especially for the landscape support. They need to be shaped like the whole tab behind it. So much that it looks like one solid image, till it flips.

hey man, awesome to see that you may have a fix for those first ones! i totally love the transparency bottom part of the clock (location, the temperature etc) like with the black one...any chance you could make ALL of those ones you have skinned with that transparent background too? i'm diggin the two new ones you did, but i love the transparent part. looking forward to using that black inverted one again once you get the kinks worked out!!

All rosie's are based on myn's remapped rosie and rosie settings app. Even the rosies that look like sense are stand alone and require no mods to htc resources. They should work on most sense roms such as SNS, Myn's 2.2, Mikfroyo 4.5 etc. i have a large collection of dock images and cant track down where i got them all, so if you developed the image i used in a dock, speak up and ill give credit. Though most of these are going to be my own creation.

Maybe delete dalvik-cache before and after flash. If not unzip the folder and either push locksceeen.apk with adb or use root explorer to paste it in system/app

The froyo lockscreen files are actually in the resource.apk not in the lockscreen.apk. its three files.
Lockscreen top,bottom, and arc...or something like that. Just look at the playground sticky, swipe the files from one of those mods , and push via ninja morph. I recommend koni's clear lockscreen.

I tried this one clear lock screen from Koni, but it totally screwed up my system somehow

When booting up into Myn's RS 5, it keeps going back and forth to the start up screen for "warm two point two". Will look like it's about to load up into the phone screen, then rolls back to the Myn's screen, keeps repeating this.
Thank God, I made a recent Nandroid backup this weekend. Wiped everything, and restored to my Saturday build.

Ahh, good catch. I havnt use a sense locksceeen in a while. I forgot about that. I've been rocking the multi tab one. Sorry to the above guy. I'll try and get u something when I get off work tonight.

It has the power widgets, it will have all the features as all my CM7 themes have. This one will have better visual font if it goes into production, as well as many other cool features.
I will try to make this one as much 3D as possible. I love how this white looks on my White EVO too, really stands out and looks hot.

very cool... you guys amaze me at how you can do this. I havent even attwmpted theming on Android yet... my wife and I used to theme the he!! out of our winmo and berries but seeing the stuff you guys are coming up with is giving us the itch to try. thanks for all you cats are doing... the thought of you and gruesome collaborating on some themes is scary lol. guaranteed android hotness lol thanks again!

Well this is my first and so far iv been so busy lol. Today is my first day back to work and there is so much to do ha. I hope to update this theme before Friday but right now I'm remodeling the house so my desktop is locked away until i finish that.
For now i updated the thread and links with info about the theme. If you guys could post things you would like to see in this theme it would be great! Again thanks for trying out the theme and thanks for the support.

Ok folks, this is my first attempt at ever porting anything over to a different phone (I come from the DInc forums), but the framework/apps are so similar it should be just fine. The original thread can be found HERE. This is the a reproduction of the "Slate" theme from Sense 2.1+. There are only about 20-30 pngs total which I did not have a replacement for (probably do by hand later), so that means that unthemed items will be few and far between. This has been based off the official 4.54 GB update.
As always you assume the risk for anything and everything you flash onto your phone. This theme is 100% safe, but I am not liable for your ignorance ​
This is one of, if not the most robust theme for Sense 1.0 on the market today. I swapped over 600 pngs to get this thing just were I wanted it and boy does it show. You guys won't be disappointed.
THIS THEME IS FOR SENSE 1.0 GINGERBREAD ROMS ONLY AND WILL REPLACE ANY PREVIOUS THEMEING​

-All notification icons have been changed to transparent background (you won't notice that they are, only would if they weren't)

Ok guys I do not have an Evo nor do I know anyone who does, so let's consider this a "beta" for now. PLEASE make a backup before flashing. Also, please check that all of the elements listed above are actually themed. Reference the "notable changes" and screenshots.

Edit: well I see that I have had 100+ views and 2 downloads, everyone must be afraid to talk to the new guy lol. I just updated the link because I realized I don't think the SystemUI.apk I used had the quick settings unlocked. So that for sure does now. Don't be scurred guys, this is a really sick theme.

Well look at that, finally got a post lol. And yes that will work perfectly, I will just get two links up in the OP: stating yours as being "Classic" specific. Still waiting to hear from someone, anyone making sure that everything is looking ok.

EDIT: just saw the previous post. I'll give it a whirl on 0.0.4 and see if there are any issues for you guys if needed.

so far the only thing i see that is different (when running V0.0.4) is the "clear" icon in the notification bar. But again, I see that Tommy is working on the theme for his latest release, I figured I would just give feedback of the theme prior to any adjustments made to fit that rom specifically.

Ok guys I just updated the download link with a fixed version that corrects the "clear" button error, as seen above. From the looks of it that was the only error, so it should be good to go now. "Beta" period officially over haha.
And the version tailor for the "Classic" rom should also be up sometime soon. I will post a similar link for it in the OP when that time comes.

Haha truthfully, every time I look at those screenshots it makes me wish I had an Evo instead of an Incredible. Your guys' phone still takes the cake for design in my book.

Are you referring to the wallpaper in dean_fx's screen shots? If so, not that is his own personal one.
Either way thanks for reminding me: I knew something didn't look right with my screen shots. Updated it with the official Slate theme wallpaper. Download in OP.

Thanks, hope you enjoy it. Yes, I would assume so? It has only been tried on deodex at least. I'm pretty sure only deodex roms can be themed after being flashed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Only noticed one lil thing, not a killer for me just looks a lil funky lol. On the rosie it looks like the screen indicator slider is for the stock rosie. It arcs lol

I saw that too. I'm sure he can just replace that indicator PNG with a transparent png and it'll fix it.
I can deal with it though ;-)
