3gb of memory used

I checked my sd card the other dayand noticed I only had 9gb of data left. I don't havre any music, video, and maybe 12 pics saved on it. What could be taking up space on my internal memory?

Haha yea those are like half a gig a piece.

You have to go into rom manager. Go to manage and restore backups. It will list all back ups. Click on one to get options and delete

Need to install stock app

Is there a easy way to get my contact backups a stock uscc app on my phone after putting in voodoo and midnight rom? After erasing everything its the best way for me to get my 200 contacts back on my phone.
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
You should use the pick n pack rom, then you can install addon packages including the uscc apps.

I like the way this rom looks is there another way?

Midnight is just a theme. I am pretty sure you already have PnP. You just need to find the addon package that the app is in and flash that.
I'm an idiot I over looked it. Its already on the phone. Sorry for the thread.

Need help with ROM

I have been trying to install a Infuse 4G rom on my Captivate. I use a captivate modem and kernel, everything boots fine but I have no wifi and I says that there is no sim, so no phone or 3g. Any help would be great.

what kernel and what modem did you use?
KK1 modem and samuri KK2 kernel
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
What rom? Because of the EXT4 conversion it might screw some things up....
I didn't convert to ext4 I stayed on rfs
I used the stock Infuse 4g kk1 leak and the modem and kernel were from the cappy

That may be the issue right there.....do you have a 4g sim? I don't think the modems are interchangeable like that.....but if anyone would know for sure it would be Entropy512.....you may be able to PM him or find him in the SGS2 sgh-i777 forum....but don't post this in development.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using XDA App
IDK why that combo wouldnt work, and did you disable before it started the conversion on boot, because it is enabled by default...
It never did a conversion on first boot, I will have to check my SD and see if I have a voodoo folder with disable laggix in it
EDIT : yup I have a voodoo folder with it disabled, so no ext4 conversion on boot.
@tylerdurdin Thanks, as I understand my modem must match my kernel or you have a no go.
Can you tell me if you find a solution?

Titanium backup

When restoring all my apps (57), does it re DL all of them? So will I have addl data usage when restoring?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App
No titanium backs up the apk so no download is necessary
Thanks. Also I just went to market and there were like 14 updates available. I went to update all and they all had errors and said insufficient space. I looked at my storage and there is plenty available space! So what did I miss?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App
What rom are you running the newer kernals fixed the market issue so maybe flash a new kernal
Running catyrom. I think it has kk4 modem. That ones pretty recent isn't it?

It was entropys but I flashed old infusion kernel.from bedwa and it was working beautifully until this problem. So I just flashed the infusion a2 and it fixed my problem. Thanks.

Instead of making a new thread every 6 hours maybe you should start one thread for all of your issues.
To help you..you need to help us. What ROM are you using? What version of that ROM? What recovery did you use to flash? This might help you to get the answer you are looking for with just a little more info.

I'm using Stock AT&T 4.1.2... I don't have any custom rom because some apps were "incompatible" with the 4.2.2...

How did you flash? Custom recovery or Odin? For the limited time that I was on stock JB 4.1.2 I did not have the issues you are. Best bet would be to backup all your files to a computer and Odin back to stock. That usually sorts out alot of issues.

I was on 4.2.2 cyanogen (i think that's the correct name) and then used Odin to go back to 4.1.2. I have this problem for a while... It happened a couple of times before going to 4.2.2 but not as frequent as now... It's really hard to use my phone without having to lock it and reopen the app I was using...

So it only happens when you use a certain app? If so..I would say the app is causing this and it may not be fully compatible.

Wipe cache and dalvik cache..maybe fix permissions to. If that does not help...Odin back to stock again. Sounds like something got borked in your flashing process (in other words user error).
