Now this really depends to what extent you would like to make it.
For many people, a matching background picture is enough... but the possibilities are endless.

[Q] guidance with metamorph

HI all and thanks for checking out this thread.
I am the proud owner of an hd2 and thanks to the wonderful dev's such as dcordes,cotulla,michy,shu8i I can now run android on it.
I am in a bit of a delimma. I love to use different themes and Not to into the themes that my current chef's use.
I know metamorph can apply themes. I have been googling metamorph themes left and right it seems these themes claim they will work but are missing a certain control file that it needs to work.
If anyone could help me locate and actuall working theme so that I may test its ususage with the hd2 that would be wonderful. I have tried (flavored Ice and Xnextheme1)
I will try the minimals also but I dont like them very much.
ok so I found a lock screen that works!
so it just seems finding themes that work is the problem now.

[MOD] Colorized Notification Icons

Hi all. I have found lots of good mods on this site and finally took the time to consolidate the ones I like into a single package. I also went through and colorized a lot of the notification bar icons. The file is too big to uplaod here, so I have provided a Rapidshare link. The following is included in the file:
1. Smooth Sense Icons
2. Additional colorized icons
3. 50% transparent notification panel
Please let me know what you think and/or if you like this. I have attached a couple of screen shots for your viewing pleasure.

I saw these first in the Virtuous thread as I am running 3.1 and was previously running incredible theme with older versions of virtuous and waiting for someone to do some themeing with newer framework. Are you using newer framework? Not that I'm sure it matters as this is not as extensive as the incredible theme in which it replaced lots of recently updated system apps.
But I do have a question for you. Any way to get rid of the location Icon which I have become use to not seeing in my bar? All though it is attractive.
And a couple of the icons like the headphones, headphones w/mic and tty are jumbled up just as they always have been in smooth sense. I had broght this to jeric's attention long before but was not worth correcting I guess.
Great work buddy!

No, it does not use the new framework. As I said, it is a something I put together with mods I use and like that are already out there. I am no expert on mods. I colorized the icons so it would look nicer on the phone. I can look into getting rid of the location icon, but if you want me to do this, please PM me and I will look into it. Thanks for the kind words.

[REQUEST] Want to modify cm7 statusbar pull-down menu to be like MIUI. Help please.

Would it be possible to mod the cm7 pull down to look and act like the one on MIUI? The gingerbread leaks almost have it but I don't like the recent apps section and the fact you can't swipe to the settings side. Plus I like the power controls and other features that were on MIUI's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
well
I know that there is a gingerbread leak for sense 2.1 that has a settings tab
Im sure you could develop a port but i dont not how

Yeah I'm running mikshift beta right now. Just not a dev myself so I wouldn't even know where to start.

Now my question flips to a request. I would be in debt to a dev that could figure out how to port the pull down menu from MIUI to CM7. Currently running kushdeck's new rom and am not moving anytime soon. Or maybe point me in a direction that would allow me to do it myself via metamorph or editing files. I'm comfortable either way.

So I've desided to attempt this on my own. I will start by comparing the two file structures and figure out if I can locate the correct files. If I manage that, I will try editing the cm7 files to match those that correspond with MIUI statusbar files. From what I understand this is going to involve smali and xml edits. That should be fun since I have little experience making smali edits and zero experience with xml. I think I have a java for dummies book somewhere....lol! If anyone is willing to help that would be awesome. I would eventually like to make this a flashable zip for aosp roms. There seems to be a fair amount of interest from what I've come across on the web.
