I hear if you delete the lockscreen.apk it will default its own. Maybe worth a shot. It did it to mine on the sensation once

Yo sacs, the guys over in the dhd section (i think, all those different desires confuse me) have a pretty functional port. What about stripping that one out, using the new egls and libs from the 2.3 update, throw in the new kernel, do the build.prop work then see if it boots. All the works been done on the rosie already I believe seeing as the guys that ported it are the ones that made the m10 editing tool. I think its worth a shot.

Here's what i've done, i've smashed together a cm6 kernel and a ramdisk from a 2.1 hero rom, which shouldn't make it not work.
However, some of the libs may be outdated for froyo.

Thanks for any help. Again i'll state this only half-boots, it's not usable. unless you like using your phone as a rechargable light-up paperweight when using this rom. All it shows is the boot screen.

I own a Droid Eris as well as the G1. Developer punk.kaos over in the Eris forum has ported Sense/Froyo to the Eris. I believe he got it from the HTC Wildfire. It works, but its in the 'beta' stage right now. It has resolution issues as well as camera issues. I'm sure Kaos will get these sorted out soon. Check the Wildfire forums for it.

i should have been more specific. this is based on the wildfire dump.
im going to try this NOW on my mytouch 3g (htc magic 32B) and will give feedback

EDIT this may actually work for some people, my g1 is weird sometimes. try it, it won't brick your phone, but if it bricks your phone it's not my fault.

Your behavior is similar to mine, although i don't know for sure if it's the same without a logcat... if you still have it flashed i'd really appreciate one.

yea it will be a little buggy. Check out screenshots from the Hero CDMA development section, you can see how rosie looks.

Got it. Uploading probably won't work for mt3g. I currently am using mtd partitions with everything moved onto /system.
I'm uploading one, however, that puts app_s on sd-ext and framework in /data, so there's no need for mtd partitions.

haha well use clockwork... i rarely sign stuff, clockwork doesn't verify if you uncheck the option in the recovery.

I live in the Android world but I still dabble in the WinMo world when I get a chance to be on my windows box. If someone would make a WinMo kitchen for Linux, I would probably still be building for my Touch Pro2 & Touch Pro.
Thats cool....still use my TP2 as a pda basically...havent cooked a winmo rom in months...I wasnt gonna bother cooking at all for the evo, but Im starting to get the itch lol

This should be fairy easy as Desire hd has already been ported in the past.

That's because this is a Test Build for the HTC Desire HD. It didn't need ported, they could just flash the PD98IMG without any modification.

I hope someone is porting this ROM, shouldn't be horrendous, but who knows, since the other DHD ports were 2.2 and we had 2.2 already so i'm sure that made it easier.
Sorry I forgot to keep you guys updated. I got this ported and booting but some things are broken. Once I fix them I will release it. Give me about 1 day. Androidball gave me the base port. Thank him

You really should ask the creator before porting themes etc..Had you jabba would have told you he is working on a .apk and doesn't want people to post his theme.

because the original themer is making an official theme manager port himself.

Thanks. Btw you indeed have done a great job on porting this, only thing needed fixing IMO was the pull down icons instead of the stock cm7 ones and a morph for the lockscreen. Cheers buddy and btw, I'll keep on running this till it's dev comes up with a better one

now that I have the perfect rom, where do I go from here? No more searching for roms, themes, or anything. Thanks to your magical creation I have extra hours on my hands daily. Hope you realize that means I have to actually do work while I am at work.. sigh

Great work on the rom big, been looking for one with all the right features and this is it so far! The only bug I noticed (literally lol) is the full battery notification icon won't go away after charging...is there a quick fix for this that I'm not aware off??

The only way right now is to reboot,unless you know how to mod the systemui.apk. I will fix it soon.

I tried all night last night to get a booting port but as close a I come was getting a version that just boot loops. ADB is not working so no logcats to help me out. I am going to work on it some more this evening still trying to rest some right now. There is a member that posted in the thread in the Sensation General forum saying they are porting it and posted a pic of a Sensation with what looks like the Nexus splash screen or bootanimation, see here. But I am not to sure how creditable this is, I need more prof before I believe them. I think I am going to just pull the Galaxy Nexus ROM by Team Inferno apart and see if it tells me anything.

prob the usual bugs when porting, wifi erros, audio erros, minimal things like that but it just gonna be a taste rom for android flasher lovers
