I am trying to theme the 3g icons on my X and am doing it about the same way as Froyo. But in the SystemUI apk instead of framework. But for some reason they don't show up in the notification bar. Data and everything works fine but there is just no icon. I toggle data on and off and they come on for a little while but the are gone again. Anyone know why??

Hi, I have a problem with Widgetsoid notification bar widget.
Once set correctly I can see the bar in the notification bar when I pull it down but it 's a totally white bar.
If i move the finger on it I can see the buttons I have configured and they work but once I move the finger from there it goes back to fully white bar...
I'm on a Desire with latest Leedroid 2.5.0...
other app that can be involved is widgetloker.
Anyone can help?
I have this same problem too. I am running Gingerbread via Fresh Rom. I uploaded picture of the problem. Does anyone know of a fix?
Has anyone solved this? I am running Fresh Rom and have this issue..
Just change the icons and indicator colors
Widgetsoid -> Notification -> Use a different theme + Indicator color + Icon color
Is it possible to activate the buttons from the Notification Bar w/o it opening a new window?
So I have decided i wanted to change out the factory status bar data icons for the ones in sense (i like those 10x better)
so playing around with the SystemUI.apk I was able to do so, but the icons now overlap the signal icons. I have tried decompiling the framework and using that method to shift over the data icons to where the wifi icon normally shows up BUT instead it not only moves the data icons but it also moves the signal bars over along with it. Is there any way I can "break" the data icons away from the signal bars? and have them both in independent spaces instead of being "connected" together.
Screenshot attached below.
So been tinkering with it a bit more, no matter what I do with the icons refuse to go to the left of the signal icon but can make them go to the right of the signal icons no problems. If I even attempt to try making the icons align to the left it just drags the signal icons with the data icons.
anyone have any ideas?
heres a screenshot of what i did manage to get so far.
Replace the gingerbread style icons and then select the alternate GB style signal bars in ROM Control.

Will have to give that a go didnt even think about that one, thanks!
That turned out almost perfect, the icons are where they should be, when it polls for data the icon gets small but thats something i can live with just glad i can be rid of the AOKP data icons

What icon set is that? If you don't mind me asking? I really like those folder icons.

I had to think about that for a while there, had them for ages. you can download them from here though
I love the new transparent status and navigation bars, and I like the new signal bar and battery colors, but now I can't see if my connection is up (pinging Google) or not.
The traffic arrows have been moved to the notification drawer widgets, so you can't tell if data is passing just by looking at the status bar. It's no biggie, but while trying to troubleshoot why Spotify wasn't showing album art or avatars (FYI, it's a bug), I realized I couldn't tell if my data was working.
I'm sure this can be fixed eventually with some tweaks, but this made me realize how much I rely on this on my day to day

Thumbed up. I was searching for this, it's a must use when you switch from home to work, and you need a fast way to enable data on phone.

I have some modules that's not working at all and some that's working, but there are some flaws.
The not-working-at-all modules:
NFC Icon Remover. I know it was mainly developed for some HTC devices, but does it work for anyone on the Xperia L?
Adapted Layout also doesn't work at all. I don't know if it should only work if I have a completely hidden navigation bar, cause I have a navbar it's just reduced to half of it's original size and it also doesn't do anything at all. The walkman app looks like this for me and there should'nt be a space where I circled the picture.
The working-but-not-flawlessly modules:
But my biggest problem is with Gravitybox. Most of its features are working properly, but some of them aren't and they are annoying.
Problem 1: I tried to reduce the size of the navigation bar in vertical mode, but it's not working at all.
Problem 2: I set the transparency of the satus bar to 100% percent on the lockscreen, but it's not fully transparent, it looks like this. It used to be working fine and it was fully transparent, I don't know what changed since.
Problem 3: I also set the transparency of the status bar to 100% in the launcher, and it's fully transparent, but if I lock my phone and then unlock it, the status bar is fully black, not transparent at all, but if I swype down the notification bar and the quickly swype it back up, it becomes fully transparent, and I have to do this every single time if I want a transparent status bar.
If you can help me with only one of my problems, it'd be much appreciated.
Okay, I know just enough to be dangerous. I just got my S5, but I have done some modding by replacing icons in the framework apk on the S3.
I have rooted the S5 with towel, so I can't flash mods and have stock TW ROM, but can make changes to an APK. I want to have more interesting icons for what they used to call the toggles, but basically the buttons you can use on the pull down, to turn on wifi, BT, set airplane mode and so on. I also want to change some of the icons in the status bar such as wifi signal strength, data up/down, BT and so on. I have looked around in twframework-res.apk and framework-res.apk and have found a couple (I think they are what I am looking for, but have not tried to change one yet, mostly the status icons) but most (the toggles) I cannot find at all.
Also I used to have a 1% incrementing battery icon. Can I even use that with the stock ROM?
Thanks for any help.
Bob
Statusbar icons and Toggles are In the systemui apk.
