Sold my Inspire not too long ago (I fell prey to the allure of the dual core Motorola Atrix).
Worst... decision... EVER!!!
Although it had the dual core it actually felt slower and more clunky overall than the Inspire. I was running GingerBlur which helped as it basically removed MotoBlur but itstill felt like a real step backwards. HDMI was kind of a novelty although I never used it. The only thing in Moto's favour was battery life. For me, I prefer quality over quantity .

If u read up on this matter, specifically other inspire owners doing the same thing, you would have an overwhelming amount of first hand accounts coming to the same conclusion... the atrix is a fail of a phone and its not worth it. Specs doesn't make the phone. It's the overall experience that does. Some people have to find out the hard way I guess. My advice... switch back to the inspire.

I just re-read my post, forgot to mention that I received an Inspire in the mail today . As soon as it booted it up I was much happier than I ever was with the Atrix.

I don't care. I'll pay retail for this phone.
I'm not one to use the new jive talk the kids use, but if the specs are correct, this will be one beast of a phone.

Lmao Look at their source, pocketnow, who were the first show those specs along with the HTC Lead as well. Seriously though, I like what I see about the Holiday. Glad I still get my upgrade in Dec, since I went off-contract for this phone to get rid of the p.o.s. Crapsung a777. When Dec comes, hello Holiday, or whatever they will call it when they "officially" announce it.

4 months now it's a great phone, I have no regrets
thou I think that the inspire is a good phone, I think with all the new dual core phones that are being released I would not waste an upgrade on this particular phone. I do like this HTC Inspire but still is old tech.

Yes the threads will be getting cleaned up. This weekend most likely if I can find the time. As for opinion threads if there is more then one thread on the same subject they will be combined. We have a off topic thread for things like this.

I changed from an iPhone 3gs, and this inspire is 20x better...
No regrets here.

i have gone back to using the atrix as my daily for now, because it finally has CM7 on it. but only because i want to work on my rom on the inspire
The Atrix was a nice phone I just think the inspire looks better and is easier to root/flash

my atrix is once again collecting dust. i had fun on CM7 for a few days, now its back to using my inspire

I had that phone. Loved it.
Ive owned 5 of the phones on that list and i only would put one of those 5 on my top ten list. Gs2. Sensation, Evo 3d and G2x wouldnt have made mine. And Thunderbolt is a joke. Seriously. Ive been with Verizon, Sprint, and Tmo this year and Gs2 is best phone ive seen. Workin on a gn so we will see how they compare.

and, HTC doesn't even deserve to be on the list. HTC is horrible, they keep pumping out phones with the horrid sense skin. No wonder they had no Q4 growth....
But GS2 is still awesome and Samsung is totally taking over anything. Just wait for next year people, Samsung is going to reign.
I know it technically came out November 2010 but the Mytouch 4G ranks number 2 behind the SGS2 for me.

Question? I had the Vibrant when it first came out, switched to Mytouch4G because of issues like the NAV but still loved it. Four days ago bought the SGS2 and I'm wondering is there really that big of a difference between S4G and SGS2 other than screen size? I did like the Vibrant but I'm still kind of feeling like taking the SGS2 back for the S4G and save 200+ dollars
I agree with the Bionic, gs2, and g2x. Except for the locked bootloaders, Motorola is my second favorite manufacturer, after Samsung. As it is, lg is my second favorite currently.

I agree. In terms of function, the older galaxy does the same things but a tad slower and has more roms.

Oddly enough verizons variant the thunderbolt is getting it as well, but no love from ATT. Doesn't look like the inspire will get an official update. Thanks ATT for shafting the customers .
Oh well, I guess this is why we have XDA to port that over.

Late night forced a mini usb into the charge port of my MT4G. Sweet talked t-mobile retentions into $99 upgrade 3 months early. Fixed the MT4G and now the wife uses it after her G2 died.
Just got done installing sense 2.1 on my HTC g1 went to sleep my wife to be woke me up with a One S in hand saying "I know you like that sense stuff so I got you the phone with the newest sense" and that's how I got my one s.

my htc one s just materialized on my desk several month ago. my theory is that aliens from a distant galaxy :cyclops: wanted to aquire earthly (High Tech Computer) technology but were discontent with htc's bootloader (locking) policy and therefore randomly transported it from their vessel.

I actually just wanted to buy an HTC Desire HD, but my local store sold the last device a few minutes before I entered, so I decided to buy the HOS ^^
Running good so far, but sadly the Development Section is not far as active as the HOX one :-/
Gonna give my Device to my girlfriend, who has a HTC Wildfire S right now ( poor little thing ) and buy an HOX instead.
I have lost my old Sensation so I got an HTC one S from EBAY
I read the reports of the One S at MWC 2012 and was already almost decided that it would be the replacement for my HTC Desire. The hardware specifications and the early benchmarks against the One X sealed the decision and I bought it SIM free on preorder from Clove.
Unfortunately this story's ending is not that happy - after my One S needed repair, HTC decided to give me a replacement - the S3 version . After complaining at them for 4 weeks with no success, I sold the replacement unit (being essentially brand new did help the resale value).
I sold my MT4G on craigslist for $350 and my girlfriend paid the rest since I went out and bought her a $600 coach purse for our 2 years.
