Found this on the Desire HD forums. It's a the Flyer ROM that can be flashed on the inspire. I wanted to spread the news in hopes that one of our talented devs could get it fully functional for our phones. But as of right now it very usable, just not ready for everyday use. Needs lots of resizing.

Be sure to back u before flashing, you will need it
Been running it myself. Already attempting it myself

NOOOOOO!!! this was the one thing i LOVED about CM7! yes i know its insignificant but aesthetically it looks awesome!
all you need is the the boot screen from gingerbread... then flash it over top of the custom rom... I believe you can do that with kitchen..
It (AR 4.0b1) works great so far with Turbonium's R1 audio fix.
i think the customization for htc roms are crazy good. they are probably the best phones for andriod.
Well will it?

Define "stuff"
If by stuff you mean accessories, then yes...
..
Most of the roms being put out are based on desire hd roms.
wrong thread haha, delete please.
Hello all,
Just curious if there would be anyway to have USB host functionality written into an Inspire ROM. I was reading the posts about it being done on the Moto Xoom and thought it would be a great feature to roll into the phones.
Thoughts?

Nice to know you've already thought of it too! I can't wait to see it implemented (hopefully)!

I see someone's already demo'd a very crude version in the DHD forum - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=993152
Will this come to our phones without having to root? Finally got Gingerbread up and running and a few themes from a post to work but cannot find anything about Sense that doesn't include rooting

I don't think we will get sense 3.0. The devs port 3.0 over from other devices so I think rooting is the only way you can get it. Though it seems very confusing and overwhelming at first rooting is really very simple and opens your phone up to all kinds of possibilities you might want to give it a try

On the HTC Twitter page, they said it will eventually come to the other devices, but it won't be a full version because we don't have dual core processors. I have sense 3.0 after rooting my phone and it runs just fine, so that was upsetting to read.

That is all well and good but surely this would be better in general?

Its fine in here for a while. It is after all development related.
Very much so development related, however it has been posted multiple times in our already existing ICS thread.
