Any1 had any trouble with the spoeaker on the thunderbolt blowing? Two guys at my work. (One thunderbolt & one evo) used an equalizer app & their speakers both blew within two weeks of each other. I'm assuming that they probably tried tio adjust bass too high for s mobile phone speaker, as I haven't heard of any other issues..... anyone else had any speaker problems?
I haven't blown mine yet but there are several volume boosting apps out there and I would bet it would be pretty easy with a vol boost + bass boost. I upped the volume but decreased the bass level in the eq to combat this very problem.

Hi, I have a Nexus S, coming from a 3GS, and I think that the sound level coming from the Nexus S is about half of what comes from the 3GS.
The main headset I use is Beats by Dr Dre: Tour, but I have also tried JVC Gummy headphones and my Beats by Dr Dre studio's, and they all sound 'loud' but no where near as loud as an iPad sitting right next to it.
I have also tried Power Amp, while this raises the volume, its still quiet for things such as bus or train commutes.
Thanks For your time
You have a couple options. Voodoo control but need a kernel that supports that or volume 1+5 on the market.
yeah get a voodoo kernel and voodoo control app. enhances audio beyond anything else.
Thanks guy's i'll try it when I get back from school and let you know the results
It could actually be phone-related. I had a i9023 and it had very low earpiece volume. Now I have a i9020 and it's very good. Go try another headset.
Hello, I watch films etc quite alot on the transformer but I find some files they have quite low volumes, is there a way to boost and/or improve quality of speaker volume?
Voodoo is only for headphones, poweramp have an eq setting specifically for speakers making them slightly tinnier but much louder, this however is only for audio.
Thanks for reading, any input to the matter would be great!

I bought a couple of X-Mini II speakers from amazon at 15 each and that's more volume than i need, do that and you wont regret it...
I need a boost for the microphone, it's really crappy... when i use a htc headset it works great but if i use the builtin people hear me low.. skype or whatever...
The free app called equalizer will boost volume. Just crank everything to Max. will increase by 200 or 300%.
I had seen on this forum about this. It may be the exact thing goodintentions is talking about
Volume+ is one I have used. Can boost on all outputs I use.
Is there a maximum safe voltage that can be applied to the speakers? Don't wanna blow them out..
just wondering if you guys have had any luck with EQ apps?
i love the speakers (for what there are anyway) and like to stream Pandora on my shield as a tiny "boombox" for doing stuff around the house. the only issue is the the default sound set up lacks in the mids and lower mid bass area. i know this thing isnt gonna bump some EDM and im not expecting that but when i listen to music through power amp i can adjust the EQ and actually get some really nice flat sound out of this thing at medium volume with no distortion.
now i have tried a few of the higher rated EQ apps on the market and they all seem to do the same thing. as soon as i start to boost the lower freq bands the sound immediately drops in volume. so basically when im done adjusting to my liking the music coming out of the speakers is really low even though the volume is nearly almost 100%?
not rooted or anything & running the latest ver. 64 software.
Hello.
I have been the owner of an LG Power L22C for a month. It is a fast phone and works great for music listening.
Recently, I have bought new headphones. They sound great, but can have their bass boosted very much. My computer can bass boost them, along with my LG Power. The volume is not too loud, due to the bass being increased by large amounts, which is how equalizers function properly from my experience. With my LG, any increase to party volume with bass boost below lowers volume and reduces bass impact.
However, I tried them with my HTC Desire 510 with ViPER4Android. I used the (same as my LG) Giga Subwoofer IRS in Convolver, along with +17dB 25hz Natural Bass boost on ViPER Bass. Not only do I get full volume performance, but I also get extreme bass that really moves on my ears.
Is it possible to get this performance of the HTC on my LG Power L22C? I bought the LG because of newer processor, and was pleasantly surprised by the screen and sound quality.
I'd posted twice by accident. Please remove this post. I was impatient on the app.
