It's a functioning Android phone that has exactly the same dimensions as the iPhone 4. Next to that they cloned almost the entire interface.

amazing launcher, really beautiful
I want one of this.
I want one of this.. Where it is available?
This phone makes my LG GW620 running CM7 look like crap, if this is less than $150, I might consider it.
Edit: It even has a capacitive screen with multitouch, my phone does not.
Edit: Found the link to preorder it :I have too less posts to post the link -_-
The battery life doesn't seem good...
Edit3: Specs:
Quick Overview
Android 2.2 OS, iPhone iOS style UI
3.5 inch multi-touch screen
Unlocked, support 3G(WCDMA), GSM network
5.0 MP Camera, support auto focus, digital zoom
Powerful Qualcom processor, 1GHz chipset

Further modified version of the MIUI Launcher, perhaps, running on a MIUI ROM maybe.
This is amazing. I would seriously look at it if I just hadn't bought an Optimus Black.
However, I will keep an eye in this because it looks veeeery good thing.
It looks like its on pre-order for around $160.00 - GooApple

Awesome. The main thing that worries me is the battery life. China mobiles usually have very poor batteries.
what a lawsuit this would be!
I'd be interested in trying this launcher out
Why in Jesus Christ would you want that? It looks sooooo...iphonenish.
How are they already not in big trouble for this?
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
I believe they are in trouble.. but hey.. they are in china..
so if you import one from china it's possible

I don't think I want the actual Gooapple phone, I just want to download the ROM...it would be fun to install this on my Nexus or Galaxy to play around.
I really hope its a custom MIUI ROM that will be uploaded to this forum soon!

Cool phone! I am using Galaxy tab to Android but my phone HTC diamond crashed before few months and my primary phone now is crappy Nokia 3100 I am seriously thinking about this, I love iOS view and I love Android options! I am in love with that phone!!!!
Processor: Qualcom MSM7227
Display reulotion: WVGA screen, 320*480 ==> how come WVGA similar to 320*480?
Battery: Built-in Li-on battery, 1350mAh
Built-in Memory: 512MB ROM / 256MB RAM
about the processor, it's the same with my galaxy ACE, but mine runs at 800 MHz (default). if u checked at pdadb.net, those series will have default clock at 600 MHz, i doubt if it can run on 1 Ghz
the rest of specs are the same with galaxy ace
259.99 USD? it is 170 USD marked in the site!(999RMB)
I skimmed through the video, it seems fake.
where in that video does it show it's an android phone?

I have to change my phone and my only req. is a hardware keyboard.
I've been a hardcore, diehard Windows Mobile user for over a decade.
I feel forced to go Android because WP7 smells sort of iPhone-esque clone (no file access, no multitasking, no cut/paste, etc...)
To my surprise, I've found there aren't quite a lot of Android devices with keyboard out there
Fortunately, I've seen a couple of interesting soon-to-be-released phones:
The HTC Desire Z / T-Mobile G2 and the Moto Droid 2 WE (world edition) / Milestone 2
Both will have Froyo 2.2, 5MP cam 720p HD video rec, 3.7" multitouch screen & all the standard shizz
G2 / Desire Z advantages:
- It is HTC
- It has Sense onboard, which I am familiar to
Appart from that, and curiously enough, the Droid 2 / Milestone 2 is better in every other aspect:
- Better screen res (854x480 vs 800x480)
- Faster processor (1000MHz vs 800MHz)
- More internal memory (8GB vs 1.5GB)
- Slightly smaller size (60.5 x 116.3 x 13.7 mm vs 60.4 x 119 x 14.2)
- Lighter weigth (169 gr vs 180 gr)
- Slightly bigger battery (1400 mAh vs 1300 mAh)
- Better flash (dual LED vs single LED)
My Q: Which one to go ?? or is there any other device to consider ??
Any advice / oppinion / suggestion appreciated

Interesting benchmarks...
And you're right:
I'd go for a WM6.5 HTC HD2 if it only had a keyboard...
Anyway it will not be upgradeable to WP7, and as I stated before, WP7 is expected to be as closed as a religious man's mind

Obviously some of you guys haven't read up on Adreno 205 GPU that comes with G2 & its MSM&230. Try reading this article first:
http://smartphonebenchmarks.com/for...t-compare-to-other-gpus/page__pid__65#entry65
Adreno 205 is going to perform better than PowerVR SGX530 found in Droid X. It may even get pretty close to PowerVR SGX540 found in Sammy's Himmingbird.
Watch out for this table, I'm sure someone will load their Quadrant result as soon as it becomes available:

If only. It would be the almost perfect device. What have smartphone manufacturers got against big screen qwertys anyway!??!?
(yeah I know there are a couple but, only a couple! The Z's screen is too small so I don't count this. Samsungs Galaxy S Pro? The Galaxy is being slated due to bugs)
edit: I have to be honest though, i'm waiting for WinPho 7 as it appears, walled garden aside, that it could integrate very will with Zune and my Xbox subscription. If it launches and has full and complete MS Ofice/Exchange integration then its very possible I will jump straight on to a Dell Lightning - assuming it records 720p.
Available now for free ( or you can buy adfree ) in the Android Market...

Has a nice look to it .... very impressive
Id give it a download .... and I know my kids would
Does it speed up as levels progress ? or more things to avoid ?
Well, the levels get larger and harder with less time for a start. You get penalties for various things you may or may not do There are switch's to find to open extra areas and lots of other little bits in there!!
I basically trawled my history of playing games and tried to integrate the bits I liked best from the commodore64 through to mario64 !
And funnily enough I developed it as a challenged set by my four and seven year old children who said I couldn't do it !
lmao...
Thanks for the kind words,

Edit: Hmm it's only for those devices running ARM7 chipsets. This may be a dumb questiong but how do we know which chipset we have? I have a Motorola Backflip and have no idea what it's chipset is.

xdunlapx,
Thanks for kind words pricing isn't set yet (my wife and I are in disagreement, she wants me to charge more than I would). Just out of interest what would you be willing to pay.
I may still put a free version out instead if I can get the ad code working...
Chipset wise it needs a galaxy s, desire, desire HD for example

Hmm. I think I'd pay up to $2, preferably $1. Aww too bad it won't run on my phone. I would have liked to try it. Is it possible for you to expand the coding to run on other chipsets?
I can get it to run on ARM6 chipsets but as they are lacking a GPU the performance would be horrendous - I'll more than happily make a test build for you once the full game is live on the market - but I seriously doubt you would want to play it on the older chipsets. My wife has a HTC Magic which runs the same chipset and it was... interesting to say the least. Thats why I reverted and stuck with ARM7 builds.
Ah. That sucks. Yeah I've ran a few free games from the market that were just too advanced for my phone to handle. Darn phone.
I'm going to review this on Azrienoch's weekly recap on XDAtv...look for the link in the portal!
<3
looks like a very nice game and i will definitely download it
Just a quick post to say I have uploaded the full version as Ad supported to the market.
Please leave feedback on the market for all to see if you do download and try the game
Thanks

Looks a bit like "buck bumble" for n64.
And I liked the game.
I'll give it a try.
Never heard of that game FraDit, I'll have to grab my n64 emu and check it out... I might get some inspiration for more levels
Should I release them one at a time or do them in say packs of five???

Is that a USB key in your pocket or a dual-core computer? Today, Norwegian company FXI technologies showed off a USB stick-sized portable computer prototype, complete with a dual-core 1.2-GHz Samsung Exynos ARM CPU (same as in the Galaxy S II), 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI-out and a microSD card slot for memory. Codenamed Cotton Candy because its 21 gram weight is the same as a bag of the confection, the tiny PC enables what its inventor calls “Any Screen Computing,” the ability to turn any TV, laptop, phone, tablet, or set-top box into a dumb terminal for its Android operating system.

The Cotton Candy also runs arm compatible versions of Linux, and is said to be compatible with Windows 8 ARM.
Thoughts? I think this would be great for low end computer replacement, or a small gaming system for emulators along side a bluetooth controller and a 32gb memory card. Even a small media center hub for your TV, download Netflix, Hulu, video apps, or whatever streaming and media apps you want and boom, HTPC right there.
Wow Seems brilliant haha

Apparently it's a portable Exynos soc, so it won't be that hard to port ICS to that little bad boy when Samsung pushes the update for the GS2.
I'm thinking win8 with arm support to be a real PC
Max. (From my Galaxy 2)
And who says there is no need for a quad core mobile cpu. Although the chip they are using is nice, and tegra 3 or quad core Samsung soc would be awesome on this device.

Oh, that is very cool.
Lava has launched the Xolo X900 smartphone which also becomes the first Intel powered smartphone in the world for Rs 22,000.
The device is based on the Intel Medfield reference design and features a 1.6GHz Atom processor, a GPU clocked at 400MHz, a 4.03-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, a 8-megapixel camera with 1080p shooting capabilities, NFC and HDMI connectivity. Intel claims the camera can take 10 pictures in under a second in full resolution in burst mode setting. Lava says the device can produce five hours of battery life with 3G browsing and can deliver 45 hours of audio and eight hours of talk time.
The device run stock Android 2.3 and will not ship with the latest version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich. For its part Lava says an OTA Ice Cream Sandwich update is in the works.
The device will be available in India on April 23 at Croma or from Xolo.in, and will hit retail chains in early May.
We are feel happy because it launched in india first

Both phones soooo sweet, but im in South Africa, so those 2 will cost me a small fortune. For instance I bought a 2011 Macbook pro second hand for about R3000 and each of those will cost me close to R5000 and up, not to expensive considering the Galaxy S4's price, but yeah the wife and daughter is in the front of the line each month. lol.

I received my phone in 2 weeks time and good working condition. However, the spec of the phone is not according to what I've placed. The OS is 4.2.1 instead of 4.2.2 (latest) and phone is also not rooted.
After emails, I've a 4.2.2 from their tech-support. Managed to flash this on my phone and also done the rooting process.
For this company, there are good and bad comments on their style of running. I buy from them as I can use paypal for payment. If things turn up bad, I can always ask for a refund.
