Why can't IPhone receive my Arabic text? Or any other foreign script, for that matter?
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA Premium App
I noticed in 'Ibrahim Keyboard' on the market, there was a setting to send Arabic text without connecting the characters and it says to choose this option for sending SMS to iphones... I have not tested this as I have shown people how to use it, but I do not speak or write in Arabic. It is definitely worth a try though.

I believe you can blacklist them temporarily. Its in the edit contacts form. Hope this helps.

Add the number as a unique contact and then edit the contact where you would change the ringtone, in there is an option to send it to voicemail. At least on AOSP, dunno for other skins.
Or if you want to do it in a more complicated way...
Try Tasker, that will let you blacklist people, depending on your location, the time of the day etc etc

+1 for go sms for texting
But if you have a big close knit group of friends that do alot of things or convo's together then might want to check out...
PingChat
Its just like your text/mms stock app or go sms but the difference is with this app is when you do a mass text message to a group their replies stay within that convo and all persons involved also can see others replies as well.
Downside is that they all have to have the app for it to work hence why i said a close knit of friends.
Go sms pro all the way and its free
G2x pwned, cm7 (trinity uv 11) killer combo "density 190"

Group Texting
I'm using Disco! Free from the android market.
Only thing, you get sms advertisments once in a while.
It's kind of like conference texting. You set up a group list, send the sms and its sent to everyone to see and respond.
please help.
I would like to know where I can find my received SMS on my xoom MZ601.
It looks to me that they deleted immediately after reading.
thanks
What app are you using?
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
Guess the question was about the native sms receive on xoom. That indeed disapears after reading and is not stored anywhere. The only help is using a sms-app like hancent or equal that stores not only the incoming sms of the app but all incoming sms, no matter on whos number.
Is there an app that stores sms on the xoom?
I've been searching for a few days now with no luck. I'm looking for a Phone app that has your sms inbox included.
Ultimately I'd wish for the default Android Phone app, axe the "Favorites" tab and replace said tab with a shortcut to your SMS inbox.
Are there any apps out there that do something similarly? My reason for looking is purely for screen space efficiency though an all-in-one app seems like a good idea for consolidation since both functions use your carrier's cell service regardless...
Please & thanks for any suggestions.

Rooted stock rom here. I would like to see just contacts with mobile numbers in the results as I begin entering a recipient for an SMS, and then have that recipient's mobile as the only valid entry to select.
Simply put, I'd like to not see numbers in SMS to which I can't actually send an SMS. Any tips?
