There's nothing wrong with the facebook app.
It's the HTC Sense facebook app that doesn't let you change the password, so far as I know, so I posted here. Taka a xanex. It will help.

yea, i deleted my FB account and after i turned it back on i couldn't upload anything via htc sense but i didn't think about trying to delete the account and reinstalling it...hmmm

I will not take any credit for the link below, but i wanted to share this with everyone.....It is by far the easiest rooting for the HTC Inspire....
You follow instructions, and all will be well.
only have to have the following before hand:
1) HTC drivers for your phone installed on the computer (get that by installing HTC Sync.....then you uninstall the HTC sync program w/o removing the drivers)...you can't have HTC Sync when you are doing this on your computer.
2) get the latest .net framework.

Here is the problems i have had which i have fixed thanks to some snazzy guys in here that helped me:
1) GPS was not working for me, but i installed the ginger bread Radio in the place of AT&T's radio....then all worked fine.

Sorry about people pounding you over this...but they always say before posting to use the search feature...but for this example reading the article would have actually done just as well...but to be honest I tried using that to root a friends Inspire (after I used the hack kit) thinking it would be easy...It failed halfway through and I had to break out the hack kit and finish it manually
My question is why you you post this in the guide just to be told its already posted. Then come here and post it again? No offence but it seems a tad bit redundant.

Agreed, if he actually stopped to understand the value of more people working with software, he would probably stop whining because he "didn't learn something."
To answer your question, to the immediate left of the bright green button with the downward pointing arrow, there are roughly 3 links in blue colored text. Those should give you the file. Though look to see if anyone had reupped the file to a better host, my speeds from 115.com are terrible

#1: Titanium Backup.. search it, you'll like it
#2: Root Explorer.. search it, it's awesome
#3: Terminal Emulator.. I like it

No, I wasn't assuming anything. The link Chongo posted works from anything you access it from.. pc or phone, xda app or browser.
Anyways, I give up.
Wifi toggle
IMHO this may be the best app on the market.
but I wonder if anyone can help me lately I have lost functionality with my wifi toggle before it used to turn off with one click now it brings up the settings page. Which I do not want. I recently started experimenting with the Carat app, the greenify app, the battery doctor app, and the clean master app... is it possible that one of these apps is forcing the settings page? Thanks in advance for the help
