[Q] Streaming sound to Android? (Bluetooth/WLAN) - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hi,
is it possible to make my Android device acts as an audio receiver? It would be great if i could enable bluetooth A2DP profile somehow (bluez?). Or is there any solution via WLAN?
Thanks,

How to make WiMo my laptop headset?

Hy All, I'm looking for a driver or bluetooth application that helps me make my Windows Mobile my headset from laptop speakers.
I know that is possible to use Stereo Headset from WiMo to stream audio over bluetooth from WiMo to laptop. But what I'm looking is the reverse.
Anyone knows how to find it?
Please, don't tell me to buy a bluetooth headset (because I have 3). It's a enterprise project that I'm working on and the headset needs to be the WiMo device.
Regards,
it's up to the bluetooth stack on the pc if it shows the pda as a audio gateway you can
if it don't you have to get another bluetooth stack which does may require another bluetooth dongle if the one you have don't support the bluetooth stacks which support the audio gateway profile

Android Phone = Bluetooth Client (sink)

Is there any way to use my android phone (htc sapphire / magic) as bluetooth a2dp client / sink?
I don't want to use a2dp to stream the sound from the phone (server) to a headset (client), instead i want to use my notebook (server) to stream the sound right to my phone (client) as i could connect my headphones and use it as awesome bluetooth headphones which are quite expensive
does anybody know how it might work?
thanks a lot

Force calling through A2DP bluetooth protocol?

Is there any way to trick the phone into forcing call audio through the A2DP bluetooth protocol? My car's bluetooth receiver only has the media profile so when I get a phone call it won't go through the car sound system :/
Any help would be appreciated!
Bump!
I've got exactly the same problem.

Bluetooth media controls

Hi there,
I'm trying to get a bluetooth media 'button' controller to work on my MTCE headunit. I believe the issue is something to do with the bluetooth drivers not supporting AVRCP. Does anyone knoe of any modifications etc available I can install to get the BT media remotes to work?
Thanks
