I'm planing on making a transparent notification bar for the synergy nighties at least 6/9 because that's what I'm currently running, any insight on how to go about doing this would be great, since I wouldn't know where to start.

This is awesome... but when I flash it it doesn't work!
lol It like doesn't complete the flash or something.

Does it give you any errors when flashing? What nightly are you running?

Metamorph I honestly think is more work for those using it. This way you can just let ROM manager do its thing. MM sometimes has to be applied several times to take completely.

Guys, I just realized I completely borked the .apk for CM before uploading. This will work with all CM7 nightlies from #14-21 for sure, but didn't test with anything earlier ones (why would you be using one more than a week old?).

Honestly... I Ran CM on my G1 for a year and a half. One thing they don't do too much of is incorporating themes. They do add some options like the UI settings we all know and love. Like the custom status bar, etc. But otherwise their look has always been pretty stock..
Regardless, I plan on keeping it updated as long as people use it.. so if it stops working, let me know.

I'm glad to hear this worked in 23. I haven't updated my CM7 nightly so I'm still on build 20. I haven't heard about anything being added that is worth upgrading.
Also, if there's one for CM6 stable I could flash that for my GF

Can this be used with the stock rom?
Any Rom with theme support which stock doesn't have out if the box.
I think you can manually install it but I'm not sure... thought I saw it in the android dev section.
Most themers go this route anymore because it works cross platform and downloadable from the market.
Pull up the market and search "captivated theme" really slick. There are tons too. Cool thing is you can change themes on the fly without rebooting.

What you want is UOT Kitchen, which will let you create a custom .zip that can change a lot of the GUI, including the status bar.

CM7 theme is applied on CM7 only, which is built based on the GingerBread source code. The stock room is built based on the device-supported Froyo source code

Why EP1? Just curious. And if EP1 is froyo then it wont work. CRT is for Gingerbread.
Ep1 is gingerbread. Just 2.3.4. I don't like the current roms running ep3. I currently use humble 3.1. And 4.22 isn't themed enough for my liking.

This is my simple purple and black theme ported over for jellybean. I went through the whole theme and removed everything that wasnt needed so it makes the download size way smaller. I also removed the stupid lock icon from the lock screen. This has been updated to use the VRtheme system so it should now be able to be used on any Jellybean TWbased rom. I have only tested on cleanrom but should work on others, please make a backup and test on other roms and let me know the results so I can update the OP. Just flash in recovery, I recommend TWRP I use version 2.3.1.0. Brightness Slider addon in post 2 flash after the full theme.
Update 2.8.13 - I redid the systemui to work on the newest Synergy Rom since they changed all kinds of stuff in the systemui, Theme looks the same as before the only change I did was It uses the Synergy circle battery now. The Synergy download also has the multi window themed also. There will be a download for the theme and brightness slider addon under the original downloads make sure you pick the 326 one for synergyr326.
Update 3.12.13 - Theme updated to work with r373 version of Synergy. Make sure to pick the correct version in downloads.
Update 3.24.13 - Theme updated to work with Cleanrom6. Make sure and pick correct download.

Theme updated for the newest Synergy R326 build, downloads in the op make sure you pick the ones for r326. The Synergy download includes the multi window theme now.
