It's not, other than the back plate having the androids on it. Everything else is the same phone as the rest.

Agreed, $300 premium for some android decals on the backplate is insanity, imho.
Hey, check your Settings/About screen and let me know what version of the kernel your phone came with.
I'm curious if the fact that it's an "employee edition" phone means you get the "debug" kernel....

If she's on AT&T, the choices are severely limited. An HTC Status is about the best you'll get. The Motorola Flipside is available, too.

There's a Samsung with a hardkeyboard coming out soon.
I was waiting for a physical keyboard for a long time. I gave up eventually and got the Infuse - it was the first phone with a softkeyboard I could tolerate.

Oh my, whatever you do DON'T get her a Backflip. Uggg. I wouldnt get the Status either (just my opinion). Just hang tight for the new Sammy with the slider keyboard.

I returned my G2X back to TMo in exchange for a Sensation and I still have battery and back cover from my G2x. It's not doing me any good and I figure someone might find them useful.
I'm in Southern California so its best if your close as ii dont want to incur shipping charges if I can avoid it.

How did you swing that exchange? I heard people doing it but I tried and failed. What did you do/say to get this exchange?

For those of you asking how some of us got the Sensation over the G2X.
Well personally, nothing!
The rep just said they were out of stock of the original color of the G2X and that they only had a brown color one. (I was confused because I thought all G2X had that shade of brown)
Then he said if I didn't want the different color one I could exchange it for a Sensation.
That's what my brother wanted and so that's what I got.
I know this probably didn't help much, but wanted to share my experience.

I would sell one of the Infuses to bigfau:thumbup: lol. Do a little research. Pros and Cons. In the end does it sound like a good deal to YOU.

Because I gave mine to the wife she needed a new phone and I had an upgrade. So,I got a Note. Now, I want another Infuse to continue work on AEON and NumasX.

Big....I had an infuse given to me with bad samoled...the phone still works as I can hear text and phone calls come in you just need a screen replacement let me know if interested

Upgrade to HTC One X?

I currently have a Samsung Infuse. I'm fairly happy with it since installing CM10.1. Anyone have experience with both phones? I can get a One X for around $250. Anything else you would recommend in the same price range?

Stick with the Samsung I have a Samsung fascinate on cm10.1 and I love it its a struggle to just put a custom ROM on HTC you can't just Odin a recovery and flash you have to wait for a boot loader unlock then you have to unlock it then you have to get the right hboot then you gotta go through the procces of getting a recovery on it and so on stick with the infuse If your happy with it and if you do get a new phone get a Samsung as you can tell there open and have great devoloment

Is that $250 off contract? You can get one for free with an upgrade. You need to let us know if you are upgrading or seeking a phone off contract. I would also agree with the post above me. Stick with Samsung instead of HTC

I used to have an Infuse and I hated it. Mind you that was prior to having sold it for an S2 i777. I also never rooted it and did root the s2 and loved it. Have you considered an s2?
